I have a dmservice order to pick up my gas and lines pulled back my house . I left specific instructions to CALL first to let them access to the property , both times a red tag saying gate is locked . After speaking to a supervisor , Who is extremely rude to me told me he can’t make the person call that they could put it on there, but they can’t make him do it so I can’t get any one to understand and to read the ticket and they are so very nasty about it alsoCenterPoint Energy, LLC

1 starAWFUL COMPANY THAT HOLDS A MONOPOLY IN HOUSTON AREA! They were supposed to wave some fees due to an unprofessional reconnection tech that broke two of my appliances and didn’t even show up at the proper time and gave me zero notice ! I have proof of all of this and they’re still charging me over 300 dollars for a vacant house ! They penalize you for being there customer with a “service fee”

I have called CenterPoint multiple times and reported the water leak that they have caused and they act like they can careless. The water is making multiple mosquitoes and I have a baby that I have to put in my car and they start attacking me and my baby. The neighbors has caused because they are concerned as well.CenterPoint Energy, LLC

I was initiating gas services on May 30th, my move-in date at a new apartment. When I got the automated call on Thursday, I realized that I'm still 1 hour away and that it was a bot on the other end, so I called the customer service line to notify them that I am on my way, and that the management office will be there to allow them into the apartment. They canceled the order. I spoke to George, a service representative, and Moses, a supervisor, who both told me I would have to pay $50 to correct their mistake. My apartment notified me that I can't move in until gas is turned on. So Friday comes, they show up to my apartment door, and I'm not there, because I wasn't allowed to move in. So they cancel that order. I call them and try to explain myself and am met with the most condescending and rude customer service I've ever experienced. I am left to wait until Monday. I call twice before I get to my job to verify that there are notes left on the order to walk into the apartment's management office, turn to the right (not walk down a hall, just turn to the right) and there will be staff there that have permission to enter my apartment. My apartment notifies me that the technician refused to enter the apartment without me. So Monday after work I call and am told by the customer service representative that "we don't have to enter the management office if we don't want to" and that "we don't have to wait even five minutes for you if we don't want to" and "legally, you can't do anything about it". The time frame I received for the Monday order was 4 pm - 8 pm and I was calling at 5 pm. I was told they can't try to come again that same day, even though there were three hours left in the order timeframe. A new order is created for Tuesday, and I call again to verify that the notes on the order are correct. Rather than going into the office, like they were instructed in the note, the technician goes to my door (where again I am not there), and my order is again canceled.CenterPoint Energy, LLC

Upon further review of your account, we show that the service order was cancelled on 05/29/2024 because the deposit was not paid prior to the service appointment. On 06/03/2024 the order failed the shut in test causing the meter to be removed for safety reasons. On 06/04/2024 you contacted customer service to report that the repairs were completed, and a new service order was scheduled and completed the same day. We show that there were two missed call a heads made and no one was home upon the technician’s arrival. This is a bunch of criminals. They charge you for the 30% of your electricity bill (delivery fee) and they leave you a week without electricity. They claim they have 7k people to restore our electricity, but the truth is that they get your money for 0 service given. ****** them all.CenterPoint Energy, LLC

Had issues getting connected when I owned property that was only serviced by this company. Company would not respond, did not keep appointments and caused me to make unnecessary trips to said property. That property I sold over 5 years ago and I am still getting emails from Centerpoint. There is no unsubscribe button on emails and I have called several times to attempt to get them to remove my email from their system. Each time I have been assured it was but I still keep getting the emails. I have no other recourse but to file a formal complaint.CenterPoint Energy, LLC

I cancelled my service because I moved. They sent me the Final Bill and I paid it so I thought I was done. The next month they sent me another "final bill" with an added 59cents. I called and asked if this was necessary. The guy on the phone said it wasn't important and that'll just be something I'll need to pay if I reconnect. Well this month they sent me ANOTHER "final bill" with a 1cent late fee. It's annoying.CenterPoint Energy, LLC

centerpoint energy electric utility is just trash these days, i have power surges/spikes regularly, even on clear days with no wind, they've been out here once already but couldn't find anything of course. this is 3rd world service, bush league. i'm afraid of electronic equipment being damaged or home appliances being damaged. i have already had a tv damaged even with it being on a **** Even if i get multishot whole home surge protection i'd be replacing modules regularly. Just garbage service. their support is also trash, they don't want to speak to anyone. i got text message saying a problem was detected, their people came out, DID NOTHING, then i get a text message saying the issue was resolved.CenterPoint Energy, LLC
