      Filed a auto claim with our insurance USAA.
      Car was towed to one of there preferred shop caliber collision. Made contact with body shop they said they needed authorization to estimate repairs. They didn't say there autorization form included repairs on same form. If this was the case separate signatures should have been ask for at each section which it did not one signature for entire form and they take it and copy paste it to other entires as if you autorization for repairs as well. No written estimate was given to us before repairs started. Shop said they called and spoke to me about repairs which I did not. Spoke to someone at shop when I called about the auto and she stated car was done no breakdown on items being fixed are items that were found to be fixed. Nor did the person on the other line I was speaking to indicated she was my service advisor. Wasn't aware I thought USAA send a adjuster out to determine damages on my auto not a service advisor that the person you get when you get a oil change so I'm am very disappointed how this company operates and was only under the assumption we signed autorization to get a estimate not repairs and then repairs were done without communication in the process. So the fees that there asking for we do not see we should have to pay for.

      I was rear ended on 6/19/22, when my insurance called to find a repair shot the closest one they said was fain street that would take my car. I had my car towed to their shop where it has now been 2 months and 2 days with no progress. I finally put my foot down and was able to speak to the regional manager who said that my car would be next after the current car they were finishing up that was on 8/19. Today 8/29 I call and they tell me they are coming up with a game plan to get my car fixed. My biggest issue is they fact for atleast a month I have been told my car will be next, that they have all the part yet nothing has been done and I have been fighting to keep my rental without me paying out my pocket because it wasn't my fault and I can't afford $280 a week. I spoke with another manager 8/26 who said they were still shooting to have my car done at the end of the month which is in 2 days and my rental is supposed to be turned in tomorrow. I get being short staffed and I get doing your best but when I have been told multiple times, multiple different days in which my car will be done and nothing has been done with it I get alittle upset. I have to call to check on my car and get updates multiple times a week because no one can give me a straight answer. I just want my car fixed, I want a date in which my car will be done and I want the rental covered until it's done

      On Friday August 26, I took my 2022 Mitsubishi to get an estimate for the cost to fix the cars paint, due to a ket scratch. i arrived, Mr. Charlies, was the one that greeted me. I stated to him I had an appointment scheduled. he made me file a form with my name and contact information and another form. Where then we went to car, and he removed my personal keys from the chain and kept my car keys, I wasn't aware or informed of an estimate for my car, in which i was told to leave it. I had to arrange my own way back to work. i checked the update for an estimate on the fix around 11:30am on Friday, nothing was displayed, i followed up with Charles at 2:25pm asking him for the estimate, where then he told me. so I decided not to go with the repair. He stated the car had already been started and nothing could be done. I have never in a million years heard of a place starting any work on a car without explaining cost to a customer or agreement to the cost. i have discussed to work a resolution out before the time comes to pick up my car. They are totally ignoring my calls, saying he is busy with a customer. I would really appreciate, if an agreement can be made. The estimate of the repair was never discussed to me even after standing outside for literally 30min waiting for my ride. if i would have known the repair was going to be so much, i would have never left my car and gone to other repair shops.

      I made an estimate with Caliber Collision well in advance to have some major repair work done to my 2018 Kia Sportage. I paid cash for them TO WORK FOR ME TO REPAIR MY SUV. They agreed to do stated repairs according to the estimate. They informed me that I had to pay for parts up front in order to lock in the estimate because they did not trust me because my estimate was a major repair.
      So now I paid for parts up front....Done $1429.10.
      I was told to drop off car at Midday on 3 August 2022, which as a customer I did. At no time would Caliber give me a expected finish date for my repair. I explained to Caliber before I did the estimate, when I took my car to have it repaired, that due to my Disabilities, really needed this work to be done within 2 weeks I paid an additional $2000.00 when I dropped off my car to show Caliber. Was told by Caliber Collison that be ready by 19 Aug 22 it would be ready. I called and Anthony told me employee sick no finished date received. Which I responded not my problem. I need my car finished. Caliber's contracted windshield technician deliberately broke my windshield and now they want me to pay for the replacement $460.00. I told him verbally before I gave him my keys " Be Very careful with my windshield. I don't want it to break. So Caliber Collison has lied to me NUMEROUS TIMES with my repair knowing that I have disabilities, employees sick, this didn't come in, that was damaged, etc.etc.etc. When I was told that they wanted ALL PARTS TO BE THERE ON TIME FOR MY REPAIR. Caliber Collison had not ordered the parts when they informed me they would, getting in damaged parts in (Lying again), Windshield damaged ( After it was broken), failure to plan for a major repair which they had advanced notification of, Failure to schedule work time, pushing my contracted repair further, Further to now the Fourth week when it should have only taken 2 weeks. Caliber Collison has discriminated against me by avoiding a contracted repair by the timeframe

      Caliber Collison at XXXX XXXX Loop South, San Antonio TX XXXXX. I finally got my car repaired from all the damage that Caliber Collison did to it!!! Shame that Caliber Collison treats Disabled Veterans this way by damaging their personal property in retaliation by not doing their work on time.....buzzards!!!

      Geico paid to have my car fixed. I paid a $250 deductible however upon driving home I noticed my siding on my windshield flapping as I drove, my fender not side mirror were installed properly. They created an ant infestation in my car along with an employee stealing out of my car. The regional manager refuses to meet with me or call me to resolve the issues after taking both payments from me and my insurance company. They are refusing to respond back or try to make amends for funds already given.

      I used Caliber Collision to repair my car from an accident involving a deer on January 20th. It took 3 months to get my car repaired correctly. This location grossly misjudged the extent of the damage, and I had to keep taking it back for over 3 months. The air conditioning system had glass in it from a shattered window and no longer worked and they made me jump through a million hoops before finally admitting to not diagnosing it properly and sending it to a dealership to be fixed. There were also several other odds and ends that they had to go back and fix during this time. Caliber had my car in and out the shop from January 25 through March 24, 2022. The last and final straw and the reason I am reporting them is that the work comes with a WARRANTY. The rear view mirror fell off of the window they replaced on August 2nd while I was driving. I called that day, and was told that CHAD the manager had to approve the warranty repair. It is now August 15th. I have not heard from Chad. I have called and left messages 4 times. The receptionist knows me now when I call. She says nothing can be done until Chad approves it. I know that the manager is avoiding me and won't call me back on purpose, because of the other repair fiasco with my car that the center had to pay for. I need Chad to get off his **** and set up my repair that is covered under the repair warranty. I will fix it myself if I have to, because it is dangerous to drive on the highway without the rear view mirror, but Caliber needs to make it right.

      further destruction of my my vehicle which Caliber Collision has caused. Farmers refers their customers to Caliber Collision to have their vehicles repaired.

      They took out lights and cracked off the radiator core support which was fine, they cut hoses to the AC which worked fine when I dropped it off. They added more damage then what the vehicle had when I dropped it off.

      Instead of trying to salvage what the vehicle had they took the easy way out of disassembling by breaking, cracking and cutting.
      This is unethical business practices and I will never take any of my vehicles to this place again. I will also warn others about Caliber Collision.
      The vehicle is now a total loss. I am keeping the vehicle to repair on my own. I had to spend $405.97 and $60 with shipping.
      I would like a refund for this part so that I can fix the vehicle myself.

      OUR 1957 ***** WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT IN AUGUST OF 2019. I CHOSE TO HAVE CALIBER COLLISION DO THE PAINT AND BODY WORK. THEY HAD OUR VEHICLE 2 YEARS AND 8 MONTHS WHEN I FINALLY GOT FED UP WITH THEIR LAME EXCUSES WHY THEY WERE NOT COMPLETING THE BODY WORK AND PAINT WHICH THEY BEGAN IN SEPTEMBER OF 2019. YES 2019. THEY MADE DOZENS OF EXCUSES FOR THE DELAYS, PIECES OF INTERIOR TRIM ARE STILL MISSING AND THEY WILL NOT RETURN THEM ALL, THOUGH I DID RETRIEVE SOME OF THEM LAST WEEK.FINALLY I CALLED THEM AND DEMANDED RETURN OF MY CAR, A 1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR. IT SAT IDLE FOR MOST OF THE NEARLY 3 YEARS, OUTSIDE THE FIRST WINTER OF *********, WHERE I FOUND IT IN THE REAR OF THEIR LOT, THE WINDSHIELD OUT, AND THE ***** FULL OF SNOW, IN MY OPINION, THEIR LACK OF CONCERN IN STORAGE AND CARE, CAUSED THE CARBURETOR TO GET GUMMED UP SO BAD IT COULDN'T BE CLEANED OUT. I HAD TO REPLACE IT AT A COST TO ME OF OVER $600. I PURCHASED A FAIRLY CHEAP MODEL. THE NEW ELECTRONICS INSIDE MY DISTRIBUTOR BECAME RUINED FROM MOISTURE, SO ANOTHER SHOP TOLD ME, SO THAT ALSO HAD TO BE REPLACED. THEY RETURNED THE VEHICLE IN A BARELY DRIVE-ABLE CONDITION AND OFFERED THE EXCUSE THEY "DIDN'T HAVE TIME" TO FINISH IT. THEY LEFT THE WIRING MOSTLY WADDED UP AND TAPED IN BUNDLES, UNHOOKED AND GOING NOWHERE ? THEY DID NOT EVEN COMPLETE THE PAINT WITH SMALLER AREAS LEFT UNPAINTED. HOW A BUSINESS COULD EXPECT A CONSUMER TO BE SATISFIED WITH THIS KIND OF WORK AMAZES ME. YOU'D BETTER CHECK OUT THE BBB PAGES BEFORE CHOOSING THEM, YOU'LL BE AMAZED AT THE NIGHTMARE COMPLAINTS SIMILAR TO MINE. I HAVE NOT MADE ANY OF THIS UP.       SINCE THIS CLAIM WAS FIRST FILED, I HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH A TRANSMISSION REPAIR SHOP REGARDING THE TRANSMISSION ON MY 1957 CHEVROLET, LEAKING BADLY.. THE SHOP IS ****** TRANSMISSION., *******************************************************************************. ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE NOT SEEN MY CAR TO EVALUATE THE TRANSMISSION LEAKS, THEY GAVE ME WHAT THE TYPICAL COST OF REPAIRING THAT TRANSMISSION, A 700R-4, WOULD BE $2500. IT WOULD NEED TO BE REMOVED AND ALL THE SEALS AND GASKETS REPLACED. I FEEL CALIBER COLLISION, MISHAWAKA, *******. SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS REPAIR COST AS THE CARE AND STORAGE OF MY CAR IS NO DOUBT A DIRECT RESULT OF THE CAR SITTING DORMANT MOST OF THE NEARLY 3 YEARS THEY HAD IT, DRYING OUT THE SEA;LS AND GASKETS.       AFTER CONTACTING A VERY RELIABLE TRANSMISSION SHOP IN THE ***** ****** TRANSMISSION, GRANGER, *******, *****, THEY GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE OVER THE PHONE AS THEY ARE FAMILIAR WITH THIS TRANSMISSION, A 700R-4, THEY QUOTED ME AN AVERAGE COST OF $2500, TO REPLACE ALL SEALS AND GASKETS, AS THE TRANSMISSION IS LEAKING BADLY. THIS IS, IN MY OPINION, DUE TO CALIBER COLLISION'S POOR CARE AND STORAGE, HAVING LET MY VEHICLE SIT FOR MOST OF THE NEARLY 3 YEARS THEY HAD IT. I AM REQUESTING THEY TAKE FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY AND COVER THE COST OF THE TRANSMISSION REPAIR. THERE WAS MUCH MORE WRONG WITH OUR VEHICLE WHEN THEY RETURNED IT, BUT SINCE THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME A DATE FOR COMPLETION OR RETURN, I DID DEMAND THE VEHICLE BE RETURNED.       I DO NOT AGREE WITH ABRA / CALIBER COLLISION'S REASONS FOR NOT AGREEING TO PAY FOR THE NEEDED REPAIRS ON OUR 1957 ***** THEY HAD AT THEIR BUSINESS FOR 3 YEARS, FOR BODY WORK AND PAINT. I AM ADAMANT THAT

      Attached are 2 receipts which are for a Distributor and a Carburetor which were necessary to get my Vehicle, our 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, to run well enough to drive on the roads.  Caliber Collision had our vehicle about 3 years, plus or minus a few weeks. It was rarely driven in those years and sat inside and outside both,  From the poor storage, lack of driving, and the gas getting very old and likely full of water, the carb was so gummed up it could not be cleaned sufficiently for the vehicle to run normally. It coughed and choked, spewed gas from the tail pipes, and backfired terribly. It was necessary to purchase a new one. Also the Distributor which was a HEI electronic controlled model, was so waterlogged it would not fire properly and caused misfires constantly causing the engine all sorts of issues.  I had to also purchase a now one of those. I am certain it was from sitting so much of those 3 years. Also, from not being driven and getting the fluids circulated the Transmission developed leaks and will need to be removed from the vehicle and rebuilt with new gaskets and seals. Proper storage and care would have most likely not let this happen.I was given a over-the-phone quote of $2500 from ****** Transmission, of Granger, IN. *****. It is a 4 speed 700R-4 transmission and I was told that was a "Standard Cost" for that transmission,  I can supply you with a written copy if necessary,  I believe Caliber should be held responsible for that Cost,  I did nothing myself to cause those  transmission issues.

      I have been going through this for now way over 3 years and honestly believe should be reimbursed for these costs I am seeking,  The dropped the car at my house barely running, with the paint not completed, door jambs and areas around the trunk rim and hood / firewall area left unpainted. How many times do I have go over the same issues ?  They painted the body and replaced the sheet metal that was damaged but left me the car in un-driveable condition. We worked hard for several weeks to clean the Engine Compartment which they trashed. It will cost several hundred dollars to get that cleaned up, if at all. I should not have to go through this again and again.  They caused all these issues and should be made to pay the cost of getting the car safely drive-able. I am certain they feel they will not have to pay as they have done this to many of their customers,  You should read your own pages of complaints against Caliber,  There are hundreds nearly the same as they did to me.  I would not have accepted the vehicle in the terrible mechanical condition, but after over 3 years, I just wanted our Car home !  There were many issues that I walked around the car and discussed with the then-manager *******,  His own words, and I quote ":I didn't have time to finish it ".  Over 3 years and they didn't have time ?  Are you serious ? 

      This is the Honest and true story,  they are unethical and down right crooked the way they treat some of their customers.  I am so tired of this but this is what Caliber wants, they want you to Give Up.

      As you possibly know, we have done this 4 or 5 times. where I have submitted pictures, statements, etc. as to what Caliber Collision did to us and our 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.  You have all that I have to offer and the last message I received from your office said that since Caliber Collision did not respond,,you could do nothing about my complaint. Is that not correct ? 

      I now have the Vehicle in another Shop getting it repaired and made safe to drive. Their estimate is $4500 to get the mechanical issues that Caliber caused by letting our Vehicle sit for the better part of 3 years, much of that time spent outside in  the freezing Indiana weather.  At one time, I went to see their progress and found our Vehicle sitting far out back of their shop. with the windshield missing, visqueen partially over it, and snow filled the front of the interior.  This shows how much they regarded my Vehicle.... they did not take care of it at all while it was in their custody...I have, thus far, paid $3000 of that estimate and the Shop is still working on my car. I will try to get that estimate on a single page for you. I only have it in 3 parts and I am not certain I can attach it to this letter.  You can read from my many messages to your Office, all the issues that were caused by their inattention and having not started nor driven it for the 3 years they had it.  I was very afraid I was not going to be able to get my vehicle baclk from Caliber that i threatened them with bringing the Police with me to get it.  I do not know why they refused to return it other than it was not done and also the fact that it would barely run or drive.... it was in  terrible mechanical condition. Please refer to my earlier correspondence for all the issues the sitting of the vehicle. caused after 3 years,  I  cannot write that all out again.  There are pages of issues. I have paid.       I am rejecting this response because:   CALIBER'S LAST RESPONSE STATES THAT I (THE CUSTOMER)  DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS NOT ANSWER THE PHONE.  I CAN GUARANTEE THAT CALIBER HAS NOT CALLED HERE, NOR LEFT A MESSAGE.  THAT IS A COMPLETE FABRICATION.  MY BILL FROM CLASSIC AUTO APPRAISALS WAS $4500 TO MAKE THE CAR SAFELY DRIVE-ABLE AND ALL THINGS MADE TO WORK AS THEY WERE WHEN I DELIVERED THE CAR TO CALIBER.  THEIR CARE OF THE VEHICLE WAS ;ASS THAN NORMAL AND CAUSED NUMEROUS MECHANICAL ISSUES FROM LONG-TERM SITTING AT THEIR FACILITY, AND ALSO FROM DOING SANDING AND BODY WORK WHILE HAVING THE HOOD,  FENDERS, AND OTHER PARTS OFF WHERE THE **** AND DEBRIS PENETRATED ALL THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND ALL COMPONENTS.  THIS COST OF THIS WAS FAR GREATER THAN ORIGINALLY THOUGHT.       I was involved in a car accident January 2022. When I received the first policy report, I noticed that the drivers were incorrect and the other motorist's insurance company, USAA, denied my claim.
      I contacted the police officer requesting a change. After her investigation, the report faulted the other driver for not yielding to a car off ramp of Hwy. 35.
      USAA refused my claim, stating they already rendered their findings, based on the first and incorrect report..
      At this time, I filed a complaint to Texas Department of Insurance and USAA changed their coverage to 60% and asked to provide a repair estimate.
      I submitted my estimate about $8400. USAA declined my claim and instructed me to bring in my vehicle to Caliber Collision on N. Lamar. I communicated to them that this location is not in my neighborhood, nor is the close to me. Regardless, this was the only location they insisted that providing an estimate.
      When I brought in my car, They provided an estimate for about $2400. AND they said, they cannot repair my car.
      My predicament is if they insist on providing an estimate, they should be able to do the repair.

      Our vehicle was involved in a collision in May 2022, we filed a claim with our insurance carrier. Our vehicle was revised by an adjuster and we were sent a check for the repairs. Our insurance company AAA, told us their preferred vendors were Caliber Collision and Gerber Collision. We chose to use Caliber Collision, we made an appointment for April 8 and were told it would take 5 days when we initially sent the estimate, but when we dropped off the vehicle we were told it would take about 10 days. The vehicle was ready for pick up on August 22nd. However Caliber will not release the vehicle because there was two small supplement amounts ($600), and the insurance company had not responded to them. In the meantime, they have received a payment of over $3K from the initial adjusters payment. Willie at Caliber said he hated to hold our vehicle but his boss made him. This is absolutely ridiculous to take your vehicle to a preferred body shop and they did not do their job by working with the insurance company accordingly. This is unacceptable for the policy holder and the customer from all angles. IF Caliber is a "preferred" vendor by our insurance company they should know how to work through these things for their full payment, we have provided all of the payment we have.

      At minimum, we want an apology, at a maximum we will will never use Caliber again and we will never recommend them to anyone.
