I would have put 5 stars before my last visit. Bad attitude from the nurse ****** since I needed to be with my sick boy. All what I asked her was to stay with him during the visit. Doctor authorized me. I was always allowed for many years. In the room the nurse tells me to go somewhere else if you don't like it here. That was very rude and unprofessional. Clinic manager nor main corporate office did nothing about my complaint about their nurse. They never returned my phone calls or messages. I will never be back unless I have nowhere else to go. All what asked for was an apology and they never cared.

I was misdiagnosed with my busted eardrum. They prescribed me medication that could have damaged my inner canal behind it. I went to a specialist afterwards and confirmed this. This was after I told the ** I think I busted my eardrum. I paid a $200 visit plus an additional $170 prescriptions that I took through out prior to seeing a specialist a week later due to it not getting better. They told me I did indeed have a busted eardrum and gave me the right prescription to heal my ear. They told me the prescription the ** gave me at CareNow could have damaged my inner canal. I called CareNow to see about getting a refund due to the misdiagnosis (only for the $200 and not for the $170 prescription) and they said they will look into my file. I got a response from them in a letter stating they reviewed my account and viewed my account thoroughly but with another patient named ***** and not me, a man not a woman even. They have my address and name on letter but wrong name and gender on reviewing my file. Seriously, I cant make this up!! Some thorough review. I have attached as proof. Beware!!! would never come back to this place. Horrible!! They could have done some serious damage to my health and cant even get a letter right or maybe they did not even look into my case at all. Patient care is not on their list for an urgent care. Very sad.

Carenow is basically a cash pay urgent care. They tell you a story about not being able to verify insurance status on deductibles and out of pocket being met and try to charge you the full amount (which was almost $200). Then they try to tell you that your insurance company will reimburse you which is incorrect. The insurance compan pays them their fees and then you have to chase CareNow down for a refund. This is what happened last time. I refused to pay and instead went to the ** and probably got better service.

I could not get in to see my primary care physician in a timely manner and I needed a prescription for blood pressure medicine in a hurry, so I contacted CareNow in Denton. I sent them all of my insurance information and was placed on the waiting list. After a three hour wait, they texted me and said they'd be ready for me in thirty minutes. I arrived at the CareNow office in twenty minutes and checked in. The notice on the front desk states something to the effect that payment for all services is due at the time of the appointment. The receptionist looked through my insurance information and informed me that since my deductible was paid in full, all I owed that day was $36.00 for the office visit. I paid and waited for another hour before the nurse practitioner could see me. The nurse practitioner took my weight and my blood pressure, then wrote me a prescription for my medication. She talked to me all of five minutes. No other tests, no blood work, nothing else was done. She didn't even examine my ears, eyes, or throat. Nothing else. I was in the exam room for no more than ten minutes, then I left with my prescription. Two weeks later I received a bill from CareNow for an addtional $232.00 after they'd already charged my insurance company $234.00. At no time during my visit either prior to the exam nor after the exam did anyone at CareNow state that I would owe an additional amount. This charge is completely arbitrary. In fact, the receptionist distinctly stated that "ALL I OWED THAT DAY WAS FOR THE OFFICE VISIT." Had I been told this information ahead of time, I would have waited until I could get in to see my primary care physician to get my prescription. I wrote to the company to see about rectifying this situation, feeling I am not responsible for this amount and they stated "...we will be unable to satisfy your request for an adjustment for these services."

I went in to get treated for a UTI. They take a sample, give me a Rx and call me to tell me to get more meds or different meds. The nurse kept me waiting in the hallway for over 30mins. Finally I just let myself in a room. The nurse practitioner came in and said they would send my sample to the lab and call me in 2 days if I need to change meds. I didnt receive a call so I finished the 5 day antibiotic course. Yes, 5 days! I thought that was strange, but was told that is what they give. 8 days later UTI back (never went away) so I went back. The man there said they were not accepting patients because no one has shown up for work that day. He told me to go to the Oak lawn clinic. I went to the Oak lawn clinic and started the entire process over. Nurse called the lab and found out that my sample had never been sent over! She set me up with when I needed and followed up!I called the *********************** location after this to find out what happened to my sample. When I called the man told me that he didnt work there, and that he was just helping out with the phones. I asked him to get me someone who worked there so I could find out what happened. He left and came back to the phone and told me that he had my blood sample and it was positive. I informed him that I did not get a blood sample. He was very confused. I was confused. Im pretty sure the whole office is confused. The nurse practitioner that I saw in Oak lawn finally found out what happened. She said my sample somehow got contaminated and they couldnt send it off and no one called me to come and give a new sample. This is a disorganized place and something serious could have happened (kidney infection).Luckily, I was refunded my money for my visit and Im waiting for a refund for the medication. The clinic manager is trying to help.

I went here for ear pain. A nurse used a tap water irrigation technique in which she burst my ear drum. I had to see a specialist due to her lack of training and damage to my health. I would stay far away from this place. The nurse that hurt me immediately left the room without saying anything to me. The nurse practitioner came in and didn't even look at me. They discharged me telling me to use an over the counter ear wax dissolving drop. I was left in pain, an ear that was leaking all weekend and an infection - before I could get a specialist. Location **********, ***** on *********************.

Can I leave 0 stars? I'm a veteran, had an ear infection & was strongly recommended by the VA telenurse to go to an Urgent Care. I was prescribed 2 medications (1 being prednisone). Tech came in & said my 2 prescriptions were sent to *********************** VA Phm. I get meds from the new VA on Highway 151. I asked for the scripts to be sent there. They came back & said they couldn't find the no. So I asked for a hard ******** would go to HEB. I took the hard copies to HEB, paid out-of-pocket, the end. 5 days later, I received the same medications in my mailbox via *********************** Pharm. Whoever was responsible for submitting the 2 scripts did not cancel the *********************** request. When I received the 2nd set of meds, I knew I was going to be billed. So I started contacting the VA to head off this billing. 5 hours of phone contact later, I was told the Pharmacy deemed I was responsible for paying. I have now paid for each medication, twice. Does anyone have a problem with a patient receiving double prescriptions of a single prescription medication? I went to the CareNow facility today and was told by the doctor that "well the Dr. who prescribed them doesn't work here anymore. . there's nothing I can do. . .you got two prescriptions of each medication, you have to pay for them." Really? He also asked why I didn't come in sooner? He commented "you seem to be quite upset, I'm only trying to help." Then told me 3 times, "Have a pleasant day." I found him disingenuousness & lacking accountability. He said 3 times as I left Have a nice day. I asked for a supervisor and was given a business card for ***********************, BSHA. I called the phone no. and could only be connected with a receptionist who told me ************** was in and out and that she did not have **************** schedule so she couldn't tell me when ************** would be there. I asked to leave a voice message but she said she didn't have a no. to give me to leave a voice message. Not BBB Accredited + Customer Rating **** - NOT SURPRISED!!

Told completely false billing information over the phone and in person by all the clinic staff (about 6 or 7 people in total). I was told I'd be billed not much more than $100 *** (75 for the telehealth, with no extra charges for just being seen in the clinic, and 30 for a strep test that wasn't even sent off to be tested). I was ultimately billed 373. Because they discounted it to 172 that means they apparently think it's okay to charge customers wildly different amounts than what they were told. Even with a discount, this kind of inconsistency is unacceptable and I will not return to this facility again.

BEWARE!!! Before you call here. All I can say is, whoever is reading this, please make sure you don't lose your money and get no treatment at the same time. I called and specifically asked them if they have an obstetrician / Gynecologist on premises and they assured me they have one. Once they charged me $180 for my visit that included 2 tests, the Dr. *********** comes and without even touching me or doing any tests, suggests I should see an Obstetrician / Gynecologist and gave me a paper that said she is referring me to an Ob/Gyn. This is a fraud. They are robbing their patients with $180 to bring them in the door. They may be a clinic for cold / flu or minor injuries or physical tests etc. but they should not claim to have certain specialists over the phone and then charge $180 only to refer you to the specialist. I have a feeling they must be charging certain commission to send clients to their favorite specialists.

Well all of the nice things I had to say about the actual care from this establishment just went out the window because how messed up their billing department is. I was charged for a chest X-********* never received. Talked to multiple people in their head office who assured me they would take care of it. Then I get a bill over a year later for $29 so I figure they aren't going to get the message so let me just pay it. I go to pay online system doesn't recognize me. Okay I call, sorry it's after 3pm. Okay I call back, sorry our phones aren't working, she'll call you back. I finally get a message back 2 days later and the number she left is different than the number that called. Finally get through to someone she says my card is declined. So I tell her to try a different card she's like oh what's your zip code? I was like oh you didn't ask that before let me use my original card because that's what happened you assumed my zip code. (I live in two places.) she's like no I just pushed it through with the second card. Now I'm worried about getting fraud charges so I canceled my cards. So shady so so so shady.
