1 starI went there for infected tonsils. I then got a bill for $300 more than my insurance carrier had contracted. I contacted MDNow along with my insurance company who informed them that my bill was $187, not $487. Four months of wrong bills come in looking to overcharge me and 4 months of calling trying to correct the situation. Finally a correct bill of $187 arrives which is paid that very same day. In today's mail I got notice of being sent to a collection agency despite their attempt to overcharge me and despite the fact the the bill has been paid and the check has been cashed.Review fromBarbara M

1 starLocation is *************************. Horrible. I went one time, was waiting for it to open, with three other people. There was an employee in there, but they would not open the door and let us in. Still, after 20 minutes, they would not open the door. We were consistently knocking and could see the employee from time to time in there. I had to go somewhere else for treatment. The second time I brought my husband at 4:40. They close at 5:00. The door was unlocked but they told him they were not seeing anyone else that day. There was no one in the waiting room.I will never ever go here again. They do not care about the community obviously.Review fromMonique J

1 starThe location in ********** Lakes was a joke. After waiting for almost 3 hours ( and they never told us it would be that long) we were then taken into a room. I peeked my head out and spoke to a woman who was on the computer and asked how long it would be as I had a terrible migraine and I was there with my 15 yr old whom had been coughing and feeling sick for a few days. The woman told me she had no idea. Ten minutes later the same woman walks in and she is actually the doctor. After checking my son she told me she needed to do a flu and COVID test. They tested him and said it would be 20 min for the result. My son was starving and wanted me to run out and grab something for him as he was starting to feel lightheaded. On my way back ( not even 10 min) my son and the doc called and told me he was positive for Flu type B. I explained that I was also feeling not well and she suggested that I get tested. I was pulling into the parking lot so I told her I would be right in. When I got in the nurse told me that if I wanted to be tested I would have to go outside to the front, fill out paperwork and wait in line. I was shocked. I pointed out that there were at least 15 people waiting outside and that I had been there for over three hours at this point AND that swabbing my nose would take two minutes at best. I told her that I would not need to stay for the results, and if they could call me with them. She told me absolutely not, that it wouldnt be fair to the others. She was so incredibly rude. What poor service. They literally let me walk out without being tested. The doctor was there the whole time and didnt say one word. I will NEVER go to this location again.Review fromMark S

1 starIf you are thinking of using ***************************) on ******* in *************, ******, you might want to go somewhere better qualified and reputable. I went there on the afternoon of 12/7/22 with a lacerated thumb. Paid my $60 copay and went back to see the attending doctor. After they spent several minutes unable to locate suitable supplies, she took one look at the thumb and told me that she would not attempt to sew it up. The doc said I probably needed a hand-surgeon. It was my thumb and I clearly knew the damage was superficial and did not impact any muscle or tendons. But, I said fine and left untreated.I went to an another clinic where the cut was promptly sutured without question. The next day I called Care Now and inquired about my $60 copay and whether there would be any billing of my insurance. I was informed by the receptionist that I should not be charged since I did not receive any services. I was told to call the billing office, who told me that I should receive a refund in 90 days! I was rudely dismissed by the woman on the phone.3 months pass and I call the Care ****************** again and spoke to ******. ****** was very nice and said she would investigate, nothing happened again. Then I get and EOB from my insurance which shows that Care Now went ahead and billed the insurance $392 (adjusted amount) for the services that were never rendered. It also showed the amount the other clinic charged, $105 for actually sewing up my thumb. So, I called ******* in Care Now Billing who tried to be helpful by giving me the account number and email address so I can formally write a request. I did that on March 7th spelling out the story. Its now March 28th and Care Now has never responded by phone, writing or with any credit. This is not a practice I would trust with my health or money. They have had many chances to make this right, their customer facing personnel seem genuine, but someone at Care Now is refusing to make me whole again.Review fromEthel C

1 starDue to a COVID scare, I registered for an virtual clinic visit with Care Now, located in ************ **, on ************* in October 2022. I wanted to isolate myself, and virtual was preferred. I called before completing the online insurance portion because I wanted to self-pay. I was told that a flat-fee of $75 was due for self-payment and I proceed to pay over the phone using a credit card. However, later that month, I received a bill from Care Now. This bill didn't show that I paid in full for services, instead they have used prior insurance information to file a claim. This service was not covered by the insurance. They filed a claim for $211 and my balance remaining after the $75 ( self-payment) was $95. I called Care Now **************** center, based in *********, **. They gave me a ticket number and sent my account for case review. Meanwhile, I continued to receive monthly bills from Care Now. Fast Forward 6 months, March 2023, and I call **************** again, told a Manager was unavailable, but that my case was closed. ******* , the customer service staffer, shared the findings of the review, " You gave them your insurance card and they only quoted you an estimate", as an explanation for me paying $75 upfront. Again, this is not the reality of the situation. She then refuses to provide the name of the Manager for follow-up or a copy of the case review. Furthermore, I was never interviewed by a Manager with Care Now resolutions ***** She could not acknowledge or deny that Care Now offered a Flat Rate, for self-paying clients. They used my old insurance, without my consent and it doesn't reflect a copayment or co-insurance amount . Who would pay $75 upfront unless this was an expected co-payment? Furthermore, they stated in the closed claim report, that " I presented to the clinic", in-person. Again this was a virtual appointment. Bottom line, I dont trust the billing practices at Care Now, and future clients should consider this as well.Review fromRAQUEL W

1 starIt is absolutely ridiculous that you register online prior. I was called to come in and still waited 45 min just registering. It's like this every single time. Why have registration in place and it not save time. I work in healthcare I understand the needs of patients taking longer. This makes no sense at all and is frustrating. As an hca worker I tried to come on lunch and was extremely overReview fromSharon T.

1 starWorst clinic ever!! I needed a pre-op for surgery including EKG CHEST X-Ray and blood work. The tech had to do two chest x-rays and two EKGs as he didnt know how to work the machines! Then I was stuck 5 times to try for bloodwork and had to drink 3 of ****** bottles of water to no avail and told to get an appt with ******** as they know how to draw bloodget a competent staff!!!!!!Review fromJacque A

1 starCare Now sent me a bill for treatment and I viewed my balance on CareNow's website. The balance of my account showed as 107.07 and I paid in in full which the website showed a 0.00 balance. Later the following week, I received a bill from a debt collector with a balance from CareNow (the one I had just paid off the week before).... CareNow removed a balance from their website to send to a debt collector.
Any logical person would pay a bill from the facility they received treatment from. Taking part of a balance away is unprofessional because logical people would assume seeing a 0.00 balance on the facility website would mean they have a clear balance with that facility.
I will NEVER use Care Now again. They're billing is terrible.Review fromMohit A

1 starDO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! Especially when the male PA (didn't find out his name but the one working today) is there as he is so rude. Yesterday, I went here and the female PA gave me some test, and then decided I just had a virus (which I knew). My cough is so bad that it keeps me up at night, my chest hurts, and I can't even get any sleep. The cough medicine that was prescribed does not help me one bit! I was up all night coughing so today I woke up not any better because I can't get rest to fight off the virus. Last time I had this type of cough the cough medicine prescribed did work for me so I looked back into my medical records to see what it was and I it was something completely different than what Care Now prescribed me. I called to ask if they could prescribe this medicine because I know it worked. I need to get better as I have to travel home. The PA called who basically told me that he would not prescribe anything else because it wouldn't work. Ok - I guess he knows my body better than me, and told me that medicine wasn't for what I had. He's wrong again so he doesn't know what he is talking about. Not only did he refuse to help me get better he hung up the phone on me while I was still talking like a 2 year old kid. What doctor does this? I completely understand why their BBB rating is **** and if I would have known I would never have gone here. Someone needs to look into this business seriously because they are representing Care Now's horribly. I paid a lot of money to just be at square one and actually feeling worse. Thank you Care Now Brentwood for nothing. Please teach that PA how to deal with patients in kindness. I would give 0 stars if I could.
