Hello , this a straight review for one of company agent **** ***** *********** ***** STAY AWAY , BE AWARE , YOU MIGHT FIND GOOD DEALS BUT DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS ONE , I DO NOT HAVE WORDS TO DESCRIBE , HE TRY TO TAKE OUR GRANDPARENTS MONEY , AN OLD JEWISH COUPLE , ALL THEY SAVINGS . Insurance Agent opened new policies without properly explaining the process. Supposed to meet in person did everything over the phone and when I tried to contact about a problem I got no response for weeks. Finally called the company, they couldn't issue a refund even though I have proof of conversations with the agent. Had to call 3 times to the information to cancel my policies. **************** is a joke. I asked for a refund because I was charged for a policy that was not mine and was told to ask that person for the refund . Company is a joke and very unprofessional. If I could give a zero I would. This company is a scam operating under the **** that you have to fight to get your policies canceled. They still use paper forms and fax machines and you can only cancel through the home office which is a 3 hour wait and then they can't help you cancel. Please do something about this firm that keeps scamming people with Life Insurance you can't cancel.American Income Life Insurance Company

I have been trying to cancel my policies for over a year. I've spoken to people on the phone, including supervisors, and I've emailed the company. I was given confirmation that the policies were canceled, but received a call last week about one of my policies still being active and was told they've been using the money I had paid in to the policy to cover the premiums over the last year. Now I'm being told I never sent a cancelation form for them to be canceled! This is absolutely ridiculous!!! I have sent American life income numerous emails, messages via people on the phone, filled out the required paperwork to cancel my policy. They continue to call me and mail and message me that I am behind on my payments *** that they will add interest to my account. The service is ridiculous. The rates are horrible. Stay away from this company!!!! I have been trying to cancel my policy since March ************************************ out.From struggling to update the address on the policy, to them requesting sensitive personal information via email and then them losing that same email, to blatantly ignoring customer requests, to representatives giving inconsistent answers and being transferred to the wrong department only to be hung up on, to them not being able to correctly read and input account and routing numbers off my bank transfer form, working with AIL has been a nightmare. I have easily spent 12 hours of my life trying to track this down.I have 0 faith in the competency and abilities of this company. If they are struggling for months over a simple policy cancellation amount, I cannot imagine the frustration, heartache, and obstacles they will put on those filing a claim on their full policy. At this point, I am considering legal action and filing an insurance complaint with the state.American Income Life Insurance Company

AIL is still yet to pay out the surrender amount as of 6/6/25, nearly 3 months after I first requested a surrender form and filled out the information for an *** transfer. I called my bank, ****************, for more information about why the *** transfer has not gone through and I was told by a **************** representative that instead of depositing the surrender amount into my account, *** tried to withdraw money from my account. A little shady to say the least.I immediately called AIL back and they denied that they attempted to withdraw funds my **************** account. I was also told that they cannot deposit into **************** because it is not an approved vendor. How can one of the major US banks not be an approved vendor? I left several email messages for ************** with the only resolution being that they would re-try sending out a check. Come to find out, AIL has the wrong address on file. I have called over 30 times and each time I call, I am asked to verify my address. Not a single customer representative told me my address was different than what I was verbally giving them each time during the verification process. I have also submitted the proper documents that also have my address listed and AIL is still unable to send me a check or complete a basic *** transfer.I am convinced that AIL is trying their absolute hardest to hold onto my surrender amount and is purposely making this an impossibly difficult process.Review fromTracy W

This company has the worst customer service ever. I have been trying to cancel two policys since March and get my money that I paid into the policy. I keep getting the run around. Wouldnt even give them one star. Horrible company constantly harassing about additional policys, and trying to sell your more non-stop. Have been trying to cancel my policies multiple times since September of 2024 and no response made by ***. Just keep getting phones calls about past due payments. Had to flag all payments through my bank to get them to stop drawing money from my account. Really wish unions hall would stop working with this company allowing younger apprentices into getting scammed.American Income Life Insurance Company

I work at the ************ and one of our members came in today and said this ****** ******* of AIL Local 277 called him and was asking for personal information - got rude and snapped back at the member and his daughter when they were asking questions. This guy has no ties to our Union but has been calling several of our members it seems as we dug deeper to try and see who he is. Very unprofessional and has no ties to the ************ but is making it out that our business and him and the *** are all in business together. Very rude company and I'd advise ANYONE to stay clear from these pushy unprofessional people.American Income Life Insurance Company

I have had a policy with them since July of 2011. Constant calling just non-stop but for over 10 years I tried to get the name fixed on the policy if I only happened this year but I was so fed up with all the BS they give you but I canceled my policy. Now it's nothing but more BS trying to get what I paid into it I canceled my policy in February and as of May 1st I have yet to get my check they're just horrible so my next step if I don't receive my money by the end of May I will contact the attorney general's office and the insurance commission is something has to be done with this company this is outrageousAmerican Income Life Insurance Company
