I was 25 when I accepted a sponsored meeting from my grandpa about his veteran benefits that he extended for the family. My agent was (and has been) very helpful with explaining the coverage, what kinds would be useful and why. I'd just lost my mom recently, and knew that things got rough on us at home dealing with that.. the policy seemed like a good one and really wasnt very much to pay a month, so I signed up. My mom died of cancer. I asked for extra coverage to include that when the agent offered it. After a few weeks, I had a regular visit to my doctor and they found unusual masses after complaining about some stomach pain... I've already used the cancer policy that I signed up for thinking that I wouldnt need it for decades. I am very thankful for the care from our family's agent in taking the time to teach me how this all works so I can save my Dad and siblings from another situation like my mom's.American Income Life Insurance Company

I am CONSTANTLY receiving weekly calls to "update" my information. It has not changed in the 25 yrs that I have had the policies for myself and my husband. I REPEATEDLY tell each person that calls that I DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE ANYTHING AND I WILL CONTACT THEM IF I DO. It has now gotten to the point that I truly will CANCEL all policies if I receive just one more phone call!!!!!American Income Life Insurance Company

My union signed up with these people to get a free $4,000 if there was an accidental death. Then they call and text and email for a zoom meeting. So I obliged. Then I was bombarded with heart string pulling propaganda telling me my children will be left penniless if I don't buy into their policies. This is not the way to run a business. It took me a few times but they finally understood I would not be giving them any money and politely left the chat. We shall see if they call again next year.American Income Life Insurance Company

So Ive been with American income for about 4 years. I got a new life insurance company so I canceled with American income life. When I spoke with them they told me they would send me a email with cancellation docs and itll take 3 days because its automative well I never got the email so after about 4 days I called back and got a different person and she emailed me right then and there so I DocuSign and was done well 2 days later I received an invoice saying I owe them over $5k dollars or I wasnt getting my surrender value. And *** never missed a payment the money has always been on time my business actually made the payments straight out of my business account so now i guess I have to fight them for that money. So my words to anyone looking to do business with them dont. And theres more to my story about how they stack my policy and I was paying double what Im paying now for my family they even had a 200k accidental attachment that I was paying $200 for that was never mentioned in those zoom meetings. I would never do business with them again and I advise you not to as well but suit yourself.American Income Life Insurance Company

This company doesnt understand customer service, every year they will switch the manager on your account and then call you non-stop to try and sell you more stuff. When I cancelled my policy I was suppose to receive cancellation papers in my email, didnt happen. The service clerk said they will mail them and instead of cancellation papers I received another bill.American Income Life Insurance Company

This company has been a horror to work with. *** cancelled my premiums and yet Im still paying monthly ?!?! Tell me how that makes sense. I dont recommend using this company with insurance as customer service might be number one but going through the process comes last when trying to get something from them. The most horrible experience . This people call every year for a review , specially health reviews, but NEVER before they asked us SIN NUMBERS , DRIVER LICENCES NUMBERS, AND HEALTH CARE NUMBERS. This information we gave in the year when we opened the insurance. My husband he did not want to give this sensitive information by phone . We said to her you have everything on file , but she said not , I am working from home , and after arguing with her for half hour , we made a stupid mistake, to give her all the information mentioned above, and then she wanted the bank account information, and when we said absolutely NO , she became very mad. We said to her the company has our bank account information already for 8 years., so we stopped the communication that day. Today I sent to this lady an email asking to send us the update to the premium and all the information that we gave to her by phone for 2 hours, but she said the application did not go through and she said stop harrasing me. When she harrassed to us last week making pressure , pushing us to give all the information mentioned above to "continue with the application", but at the end only I put in risk our personal information . This company is a rip off I had money coming out of my account for my grands ********************** policy automatically and some months they would only take out enough for 2 policies when I had enough in my account for all 11 kids and twice they've charged me twice in one month stating I didn't pay for that month so when I called and canceled the policies I were told that they would email me the paper work to get a refund back and I never received the email and now they are telling me something all together different like I could only get a refund in the first 30 days which they never told me ******** I'm truly thinking about finding me a lawyer to look into this because I feel as if it wasn't my fault cause I had the money in the account and they chose not to take it out. Just a whole mess and I feel like I've been scammed and if I could give them a half of star they will get it.American Income Life Insurance Company
