Toyota Financial Services Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Refund Delay and ************* Balance Dear *********** am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the significant delay in processing my refund, which has directly resulted in my bank account being left in a negative balance. My account with ********************************************* is *********, and I had been assured that a refund of $2830.50 would be processed within 30 days from August 23rd 2024 upon receiving the check from Toyota ******************** Yet as of today, 10/21/2024, I have not received the funds for the remainder of $730.50. As of todays date 10/21/2024, I see that the check for $2100.00 VSA refund was returned which now left my bank account in negative balance. Over the time, I had multiple agents and resolution specialist assure me that my checks were sent and every time I call in they would inform with different information. Due to this delay, my bank account has incurred overdraft fees and additional financial stress, which I believe could have been avoided had the refund been processed in a timely manner.I kindly request that you expedite the refund immediately and compensate me for any overdraft charges and other related costs caused by this delay. I trust that Toyota Financial Services will take swift action to resolve this matter and ensure that such delays do not occur again.I would appreciate a response within the next business days regarding how you plan to address this issue. The *** system of records reflects that Mausxes **** spoke with a member of our Resolution Team on October 23, 2024. A second check is in process of being issued in the amount of $2,100.00 and will be expedited to our customer via *****. Given the above facts, the funds were not returned due to a *** error. ******** customer service. The person on the other side hang up on me. They cant confirm if they received a check. One person said to get information from insurance about the check to escalate it when called and provided information to another person she says we dont escalate it will take for 2-3 weeks. And hang up on me. Whats the point of me providing the check information then. Completely unexperienced people work in their **************** no information is updated on their end. Everyone has something different to say. So unreliable. The battle just begun. Will be updating with processing of my total loss claim if they will ever get to it.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

I do not understand how a company/business with the Toyota name attached can deliver such poor poor customer service. Our 1 year old truck was totaled and our insurance sent Toyota Motor Credit the payoff ( plus extra) amount. The payment was sent in middle August but Toyota Motor Credit Corp. stated they did not receive until Sept 4. Initially they stated they would take about 10 days to post payment because they were back-logged. We waited.... and waited... and waited. Then customer service at ********************** ********************** stated it would take about 2 weeks. So we waited..... and waited.... and waited. Then customer service stated 2-3 weeks because of the on going back log. So we waited and waited. All the time spending out of pocket money for rental cars and borrowing family cars. But we waited and waited.... Then customer service (today) does not even give a timeframe and it has almost been 30 days!!! I know they recently went through a lawsuit for not refunding warranties. I am putting yelp reviews on Toyota's companies and will continue to. We were going to go back to Toyota to purchase another new vehicle - but no longer. Toyota financial services is the absolute most incompetent ridiculous lien holder I have ever dealt with. I had to refinance my car due to a separation, Toyota doesnt offer that so I went through somebody else. Im also doing a state change because I moved to a different state at the time of the separation. My current lien sent everything Toyota needed, Toyota received the payoff check which of course they had no problem accepting. However they will not release my title to ANYBODY so I can register it here. Not a single customer service *** has told me the same thing so thats also a huge red flag and very concerning. It seems like nobody including Toyota financials specialists know whats going on. I have been dealing with this for over a month. This is my first and ONLY time financing through Toyota. I love Toyota cars however, their finance department has major internal issues that need to be resolved. These are peoples lives they are messing with and they just dont seem to care. No problem taking checks obviously! I have wasted so much time on countless phone calls. I would be embarrassed if I worked there. Toyota Financial Services has poor customer service and business practices. I financed an auto with them in April 2024 and unfortunately July 29, 2024, the auto was involved in a total loss accident at the fault of the other driver. Full payoff was sent by insurance company and received by Toyota Financial Services on August 19, 2024. The date of this complaint is September 23, 2024 and Toyota Financial Services has still not posted the payoff check nor returned my financed GAP and warranty coverage refund. I have made multiple phone calls to this company and get the same answer "that department is behind on posting payments, please continue to wait". This is poor customer service and business practice. We cannot replace the totaled vehicle until it is wiped from my credit so that my debt to income ratio makes financial sense for another vehicle. my car was totalled...I had extended warranty, gap and wheel and key insurance on it. I ASSUMMED. that the gap insurance would cover the difference between owed and value...which it basically...but they kept the refund for the extended warranty and wheel and key polices to go toward the difference....is this even legal? if polices were with an outside company I know I would have gotten refunds for those polices....I think that's more than a little crocked..what if I only had gap????Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

Absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with and someone needs to do something!!! why are they getting away with holding peoples titles hostage to vehicles they have paid completely off. Not okay at all and completely illegal. I sent a check from state farm on july 31st and this company has not looked at it or cashed it and here we are august 10th the check has still not been cashed or processed and i am sold every excuse in the book when I call. when people total loss a vehicle you arent allowed to take payment on it and they did!!!! took $387 out of my account after i crashed the vehicle and it was reported. I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the recent experiences my husband and I have encountered with Toyota ***************************************. My husband, a terminally ill military veteran, and I, an elderly couple, purchased a Toyota Tundra in March 2024. Initially, everything was satisfactory until Toyota Financial Services began withdrawing money from our account twice on the same day, amounting to two car payments. This issue first occurred in July and then again in August.Upon discovering this, I promptly contacted Toyota Financial Services customer service. However, instead of addressing our concern, they informed me that our account was past due and that we would be charged a late fee. Despite having auto pay set up for the 6th of every month, the representative claimed there was no record of this in the system and insisted that we make an immediate payment over the phone.This situation has put us in a dire financial position, as we are retired and disabled with limited funds. When I requested a refund for the duplicate charges, my request was denied. Furthermore, my repeated attempts to speak with a manager were met with resistance, and I was told I would receive a call within 48 hours, which never happened. Subsequent calls yielded the same unhelpful responses.In an attempt to resolve the matter, I visited the dealership and spoke with the General Manager, but unfortunately, no progress was made. The unauthorized withdrawals and the lack of assistance from both Toyota Financial Services and the dealership have left us feeling defeated and helpless.Given the gravity of this situation and the financial strain it has caused, we are left with no choice but to consider reaching out to the Attorney General if a resolution is not achieved. 1 starI have the platnium extended warranty. My transmission needs to be replaced, warranty company approved the claim, great! Heres the problem.. they only authorized 5 days of rental but the parts and transmission is on back order, hopefully to be received in 2-4 weeks. Car is not driveable and a TSB out on my serial number for a transmission issue. ********************** Knew about the problem but yet wont cover a rental for the lack of parts available! My local Toyota agrees that we shouldnt be the ones to have to pay for a rental yet the warranty company wont help!! **************** is useless talking to them pointing figures at Toyota for not having the part instead of helping with a solution. We will be out a couple thousand in rental fees!!! This is a mess, I have been left scrambling on how to get to work and continue with my daily responsibilities when we shouldnt have to be! I paid off my 2017 Range Rover Autobiography that was purchased through ******************* Toyota in ****, **. The payoff was processed on 04/05/2024. I have contacted Toyota financial on many different occasions to get a refund of my mechanical service agreement as well as GAP insurance. Both totaling over 7.4k. Toyota financial reps kept telling me that they resent the checks to my primary residence which was a complete lie. Come to find out, the checks are coming from a 3rd party called GSA. After contacting GSA they cleared and sent the checks to Toyota financial. I just contacted Toyota and they are now saying that they dont have the checks. Need to start a class action against Toyota, obviously their reviews say it all. This company has zero organization or integrity.
