I financed a ************** 2021. Since that time, I have never been able to set up an automatic payment plan and I have not been able to log into Toyota Financial Website. The company does not allow me to even set up an automatic payment plan through my bank and will only accept payment within a specific time frame in the month. It is nearly impossible to get a representative on the phone through customer service and now that I am looking for a loan payoff amount, it's almost as if TFS doesn't want me to pay off my account balance (scamming for interest). The website says there is no account using my name, SSN, the vehicle VIN, or the account number. When calling the automated phone service, the phone service recognizes all of that information. It was really easy to get approved for my loan, it has been extremely difficult to make the required payments, any extra payments, or pay the balance off.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

My daughter purchased a Toyota RAV4 from a lease with Toyota Financial Services. It took 4 months for them to provide a title after mailing it to an address that had not been in use for 3 years. After ***** phone calls the title was finally delivered 4 months after the car was purchased. Upon going to the *** we found out we also need a Bill of Sale. We called TFS and were transferred around to different departments and finally found someone to send this to us. We are now awaiting the Bill of Sale and I have little confidence it will arrive to the right address or at all. TFS really doesn't know how to handle a lease payout. We received inconsistent information repeatedly and cannot believe how many times we had to call to resolve what should be a standard process. If the Bill of Sale is not received we will be filing a complaint with a request for assistance.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

Bad place to get a car loan. I got a loan for a new Toyota, then paid the entire loan off with a bank check weeks before the first payment was due. They still charged me $50 interest, even though I only had the loan open for a week or so.It took them months to send me my auto title, after calling them many times.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

I bought a 2022 rx350 in 2022. I bought the extended warranty and prepaid maintenance. In September 2023 I traded it for a NX350h. I also bought the extended warranty and prepaid maintenance for that car as well. Lexus tells you that if you sell or trade in your car that they will reimburse you for the difference on those prepaid add ons. I have been trying to get my money back since September of 2023. It is now March 25 2024 and still no reimbursed. They keep saying check was mailed but still no check. I hate getting the run around and I could really us that money, nearly $4000. Now they say they will send another check but wont go out for 5-7 business days. I ask them to ***** it but they said no.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

Leased a vehicle with ***** Toyota in 2020. Lease ended in 2023, returned vehicle without to the same dealer without issues. I get a letter in the mail around Dec that says they owe me $2700 and the check would arrive in two weeks. I give it until middle of Jan **** and call Toyota customer ********************. I financed a car through Toyota Financial and on December 23rd I had an accident and it was totaled. I owed $1,700 left on my car because I paid it off two and a half years early! And Toyota financial is holding up my check from my ****************** I only owe them $1,700 and they need to do a review. Why is it any of their business how much money I'm getting and how dare they slow down my process for me to get the check. I will never do business with them again! This might be a great company as a whole but their total loss department is a disaster. I had a car with Toyota for 6 years and made my payments on time every month without missing any. I was paying more than what I was asked to get out my car loan. Last month while going to work, my wife was hit by a deer and the car was deemed a total loss. It has been a back and forth between between the insurance company and Toyota credit to issue a payout letter. I called this morning to ask if they could expedite the issuance of the payout letter because I have paid closed to a $1k in rental car coverage out of pocket. The first agent I got to was very rude and mean and when I tried to asked to be transferred to another agent she hung up on me. I called back and the other agent was thesame, I explained my ordeal to her. She lacked empathy, was dismissive and told me thesame nasty things. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor and she told me she was a supervisor. When I explained to her that it wasnt going to be fair to complain about her to her, she sent me to customer service. Long story short, these companies have to be accountable to customers. I wasnt rude but I was just passionate In putting in my plea.Toyota Motor Credit Corporation

9 days to process a payoff. 9 days!! Absolutely ridiculous. I used to work in banking and was an escrow officer for several years. Upon receipt of their review for TFS, we researched their concern and found that our records do not match *****************************. They have not paid late on their account as of the date of this letter; however, we did discover there may be a discrepancy with the bank account information they recently added to their website portal. TFS is unable to view the full account details; however, we see three differences: one account number entered is shorter, one is much longer and may contain the check number along with their bank account number, and one may have the routing and bank account information transposed. We realize the importance of keeping their account in a current state and recognize that this information may cause confusion. For this reason, our office called ***************************** at their number on file; however, we were unsuccessful and respectfully requested they either consider updating their bank account information after verifying it with their bank or consider calling us for other payment suggestions, such as auto-cheque or bill payment from their bank.Additionally, due to constraints on a review from the Better Business Bureau, we have mailed them a copy of their payment history.We realize this may not be the response they desired, but we hope our above reply has resolved this matter amicably.Please know that Toyota Financial Services strives for excellence in customer satisfaction.
