      I have extreme concerns about Toyota Financial Services quality of customer service and transmission of information in the 21st century. On Dec. 28th, 2022, ******** ********** of ************** Motor *********************** (MDOT MVA) provided me a lien filing receipt to verify that the out of state lienholder request letter was sent to Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (****). This document included the ******** address for the Out of State Title to be sent. From June 2023 to Dec. 2023, I received multiple notifications from MDOT MVA that **** had not sent the Out of State Title to complete my titling transaction. Multiple times I followed up and spoke with customer service representatives to explain that a request had been sent by MDOT MVA and that by not sending the Out of State Title will legally impact me as a driver in **. In Aug, another lien request was sent by MDOT MVA. On Dec. 8th, 2023, I paid my final car note to Toyota Financial Services. On Dec. 20th, I contacted Toyota. A customer service representative informed me that my final payment was credited on Dec. 12th, and documentation was sent to me on Dec. 15th. I was informed that I had to wait 7 to 10 business days to receive my lien. The representative also acknowledged that requests were received from MDOT for the Out of State Title and no response was sent. I informed the customer service representative about the law in MD that was enacted on Jan. 1st, 2021, which requires for lien holders and dealers to send lien releases to MDOT MVA electronically within 5 days after final payment of a car loan. I never missed a payment and exceeded the monthly payments for my car note. I still have not received any notification from Toyota acknowledging that I am an owner of my vehicle. From Dec. 30th, I had not been able to drive my car due to Toyota's failure to comply with: (1) MDOT MVA requests for Out of State Title; and (2) failure to comply with the electronic lien release law effective January 2021.

      This company took payments and claims to not have recieved them first they told me they didn't recieve september payment I provided proof then they turn around and tells me no it was July then I provided July then once I Provided them with my proofs of payments over the phone and through fax the lady then puts me on hold for a long time then tells me oh we put that payment on someone else account like how if my name and address is on the payments like I been threw so much with this company I will not send anyone to them and i just want my money back or they can put it towards my car I really hate everyyhing they have taken me threw missed work and everything because of their mistakes. Did an illegal repo knowing that they had got my payments.ALL bad reviews from me no stars ZERO Stars

After a thorough review of the account, our records reflect that on May 14, 2023, TFS received a payment of $1,021.58, which satisfied the past due amount for April 2023 and the monthly payment for May 2023. Payment for the month of July was not received until August 14, 2023. Additionally, payment for the month of August was received on October 21, 2023.On November 30, 2023, after not receiving payment for the three consecutive months of September, October, and November, the vehicle was repossessed.TFS received $2,027.74 on December 1, 2023, to reinstate the account after the repossession.We were provided the stubs of multiple MoneyGram receipts on December 5, 2023; however, on December 15, 2023, our customer was advised TFS needs the front and back copies of the money orders to confirm the funds were made payable and cashed by TFS.       I wish I could give zero stars to this cooprporation. The nice middlemen between you and the resolutions team are kind but ultimately have no power and do not allow you to talk dirrectly to the resolutions team. I have spent 4.5 hrs on the phone today just trying to get a lien holder approval to have my car shipped from ********** to ******. After submitting all the correct documents, my insurance company misspelled College for the city *************** on one of the documents and after resending the corrected document, they somehow never get my fax; even after getting mutiple confirmed recipts of fax. I am amazed a company this large has not developed a more robust secure messaging system for prompt responses. I mean with AI assistance this should be a piece of cake.

      They are not transparent. Makes it very difficult to find out how to see what part of my payment goes to interest and what part goes to principal. They just changed their Toyota Financial app and now its even worse. When you call ***************** they dont even know how to operate their own app. Thats pretty much the level of the **************** from *********************************************. I will never do business with them again.

      The absolute worst experience to have them approve moving my vehicle to ****** for military PCS orders. I have been struggling for over a month to get them to accept my insurance, but they have refused to acknowledge proof of coverage. Finally, they seemed willing to accept when I sent them over my entire contract, however getting ahold of a customer service representative takes FOREVER. The automated phone directory service makes it impossible to get connected to an agent unless you repeat the same unaccepted phrase over and over like a lunatic, because they thought it would be a great idea to not give you the option of connecting directly to a human being.Most requests are handled by their "special teams," which of course the end-user can never directly contact. The people you talk with on the phone are simply middlemen, meaning they have no responsibility over any issues, and cannot fix anything. This means you have NO CONTROL over ANYTHING, so you can do nothing but sit back and wait for someone to hopefully reach out to you (spoiler, they won't).Horrible company.

      November 20, 2023 BBB Case: Review Contact Name: ********** Account Number: ********** ******************** of Toyota Financial Services (***) is in receipt of the complaint filed against Toyota Motor Credit Corporation (****) and *** regarding Kahli Afars concerns with scheduling online payments and multiple failed payments on their above referenced account.According to our records, Kahli Afar created an online profile on our website, www.toyotafinancial.com, on January 11, 2023. Our records indicate successful payment scheduling on the website from January 2023 until September 2023.However, starting in September 2023, Kahli Afar changed payment methods within the *** application. Multiple payments scheduled via the *** app were returned due to either a missing bank account or an inability to locate the specified bank account. This issue explains the reported difficulty in making payments. When we cross-referenced the information provided by Kahli Afar included their bank routing and account number. With the information provided, the account could not be located by the bank. We kindly request that Kahli Afar verify their routing and bank account number directly with their bank and update this information on the *** app to ensure smooth processing of future payments.       Oct 9,2023 paid my car payment plus extra to principle. It was all recorded with confirmation #and employee ID. On Nov ****** I again called to pay my car payment and was informed I was past due for Oct. First it was due to NSF. I told ******* B555bxl that it I possible. Called back and talked to ******* B55IEB. ******* said they put all the money towards principle and I owed 2 payment, one was late. Asked for supervisor x3. Gave me a hard time, said she Toyota could record me but I cant record her. NEVER have I heard any statement that Toyota will tape our conversation but I could not make my own recording. She hung up. Call again on Nov 10, 2023 talked to *************. He repeated the same info and that he would put in for a call back by supervisor. He also wanted two payment. He was nice. Called again on Monday Nov 14,2023 talked to *******************, nothing had changed, except she was nice. The situation was not rectify, I still owed two payment. ******* said she could do adjustments and I made my one payment with extra towards principle. She also was requesting a call back from supervisor, it will take 48 to 72 hours for call back. Still waiting, Today is Saturday 18, 2023 I also requested payment history for payment and principal transactions. TOYOTA YOU SUCK!!! NEVER WILL I FINANCE WITH YOU AGAIN! This is second time you screwed up, wasted my time and miss placed my money. Both payments on the day and month stated above was withdrawn from my bank account. Over the years I ve had to call back sometimes x3 to have a well spoken English person just to make my payment. Do you off shore phone operators? Is r personal info safe?. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!
