I just paid off my 2023 Tacoma on March 2024 and my vehicle was stolen for a few days. I immediately called Toyota ******** Services. First off, it takes a long time to create report because Toyota has to verify a case number from the Police, afterwards they only contact that department where the case was generated which makes absolutely no sense if the vehicle is 100s of miles away where local police has no jurisdiction in the new area. I was able to track the vehicle myself using my own device and made the calls to local precincts in NY 137 miles away from ************. Toyota ******** Services should be ashamed for not doing their jobs and also, not being able to update customers going through such a traumatic experience. I developed severe anxiety from this. Terrible how Toyota handled this situation.

Paid cash for a 2024 Toyota Camry and a warranty package. To begin the nightmare to in the daytime they reported delinquent payments to the credit bureau. I took the car into ************************* Toyota, ************, ** for a paint correction and maintenance. I discovered scratches on a door later and call the dealership back. An employee decided that he could not understand my name for ten minutes after I clearly spelled it to him. I asked to speak with a supervisor but was never transferred. So I decided to call Toyota North. They was given all the details and told me someone would call within 24 hrs but never did. Therefore, I decided to follow up after four days. Not surprised the information was not relayed. I remained on the line while supposedly they was talking with the dealership. After watching for another extended period of time it never happened. What a $37,500.00 waste.

WARNING!!!! WORST COMPANY EVER!!! After making on time payments for 5 years we finally had our final payout date with Lexus in our sights. Our car has been problematic from the day we bought it. Wished we would have pursued legal action when it broke down on the freeway the week we bought it but we didn't. We called every month to make our payments and made sure we never were past 30 days due. The month our final payment was due they **** our credit. They said we were short $3.50. What a joke. Called numerous times to ask the amount to pay and we were given the wrong number. Called over 20 times and got mean spirited representatives every time. We tried to dispute this and never got a response. HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!!

Toyota has the worst customer service. They know that the paint/primer on vehicles with Blizzard ***** (070) White paint will be peeling off in sheets, yet they won't do anything to fix everyone's vehicles. They will fix a select few, but not all of the vehicles it is happening on. If you look in a public parking lot, you will see many Toyota vehicles with paint peeling off of them. If is very sad that they know that the primer/paint is defective, yet they won't satisfy their customers by doing the right thing and fixing the defect.

I have been having the worst experiences Ive ever had with cars with Toyota *** . I went to get my car serviced some time ago and explained my issue to them because this was about my 5th time telling them about my car having issues and the guy was talking to me like I didn't know basic car knowledge and getting an attitude when i was trying to explain my problems. I went to the back when he said there's nothing he can do for me after trying to sell me things I didnt need. I go to the back and hear him talking so much trash about me until I got his attention and then we had some words. Not just that but then the manager calls me about a week later to resolve the issue and we were supposed to meet and something came up on my end and I've been trying to reach him ever since for a couple months now. I've left about 4 or 5 voicemails and haven't gotten a call back and my car is still messed up since I've bought this car. Never getting another Toyota Vehicle.

My wife, I and our children have been Toyota owners for many years. I have a 2009 Tacoma that lost its brakes, so I had it towed to my mechanic. He said the underside, frame, brake lines etc. are so rusted that it can no longer be serviced. Both my local mechanic and Toyota dealership mechanics said that it can no longer be put onto a lift. It has only 160K miles. I contacted Toyota and they said that this was not considered a safety recall and therefore there is nothing that can be done? Tell me when a car can get so ***** that you lose your brakes that this is not a safety issue?I also sent a overnight package with a letter, a video of the frame rust, and the report from the dealer, to Mr ** CEO Toyota *** to no avail. Never heard back from them. They have lost a customer.

Recently purchased a **** Sequoia Capstone for roughly $90k out the door. I was super excited about the new model and was happy to trade in my 2021 Highlander Platinum and pay double the cost. Boy was I wrong. The vehicle has been at the dealer for over 30 days with 20+ items on the warranty ticket. The dealer was only able fix 3 of the items leaving the remaining items, which included a major safety defect, up to Toyota to address. Toyota denied that any of the items warranted a repair and also denied a buy back which requested. The items such as bad door seals creating wind noise, heating and cooling system issues with the dampers making excessive noise, not closing all the way and restricted airflow at certain levels, and fit and finish issue what exterior and interior panel not lining up. That along with gas consumption at 5mpg below rated to top things off. For reference, this is my 19th Toyota/Lexus product purchased in the last 20 years. To say I am a loyal customer would be an understatement. I've only driven Toyota products for the last 20 years. Toyota could obviously care less. They have instructed their dealers and customer service folks to hide behind a simple statement, "vehicle performs to similar vehicle tested". Basically that means once horribly manufactured vehicle compares to another horribly manufactured vehicle. To confirm I wasn't losing my mind I did some research on the internet only to confirm that the issues are real. Then I asked the dealer their opinion off the record and they confirmed the daily complaints on the same vehicles. Now I'm stuck with keeping this POS or trading it in and losing $10-15K. FYI, don't buy a 2022+ Tundra or 2023+ Sequoia!! They all have major quality issues!

I wanted to buy a GR Corolla and built one online. The **** of the build was $36,500, but $37,595 (to include Delivery, Processing and intake) which makes sense. The issue I have is that the dealership adds on another $1,865 in dealership options to include carpet floor mats, charging cable, Toyota Guard and Toyota film. These options are available on Toyota, but are options I am not interested in. I contacted several dealerships in and out of my local area and no one offers this car without those options. They all referred me to Toyota because they stated its added prior to getting to the dealership. So when I called Toyota HQ they told me its the dealership that does the add ons. So after the back and fourth I am basically told that I cannot get a car without those options. To me this is false advertising if Toyota cannot help me find a vehicle those options or do not offer any kind of assistance such as building and buying online without them. To me this is a scummy way to get extra money from the costumer. For instance carpet floor mats are now being a charged add on for $399.00 and a usb cable pack for $79.00. Which is way over priced and used to come free with vehicles. Further more I am not allowed to order one from Toyota but I am still required to pay the $1,095.00 in Delivery and processing fee which is still a crazy charge for someone who wasnt able to order the vehicle the way they wanted in the first place. So that is an extra $2,760.00 in extra fees and add one that are overpriced just to put more money. All these are done before the tax, tag, title and principal interest which could add around another $5,000.00 to $8,000 to the vehicle. So after everything is said and done you could pay at a minimum $44,060.00 for a car that is originally listed at $36,500.00. The main issue is that dealers will not allow you to purchase without their bogus add ons and the dealers do not haggle on price. I have owned many Toyotas but never after this experience.

I have been taking my 2013 ES350 Lexus to a particular dealership in ******* ** for maintenance since 2017. Yes it was used with ****** miles. I trusted Lexus and believed in them since I went from a Camry, Avalon, Lexus, Lexus. Present, I am at ******* miles, no recommendation from Lexus to have the transmission serviced at any time.I went to a funeral in **. Car broke down. No Lexus dealership in or near the town. Tons of Toyota dealerships. Had it towed to a Toyota. After paying ****** told it is the transmission and it will cost ******* to fix. Had it towed back to a relative house. Reached out to the dealership. They called back and said sorry but this is something that can happen. Nothing offered, just zero.I contacted Lexus and asked for someone to review my case. Someone called back and said I need to get it to a Lexus dealership, have another diagnostic and then they will review it. That means finding a Lexus in North ******** and having it towed or having it towed from ** to *******. Then paying for another Diagnostic Test since they will not use the one from Toyota. Mo Money Mo Money with no guarantees.I am stuck with a car that apparently needs a transmission. It has 4 new tires bought from Lexus. A radiator replaced from Lexus. All done within 2023.
