      This company claimed they sprayed the exterior of my home on 7/21/2023 at 12:40 but I work from home and have a Ring doorbellcovering the entire front yard, and no one from their company was here that day. They charged my account for a full service. When I called to tell them no one was here they denied it at first and then said they would send someone out the following Tuesday. I told them I had a problem working with a company that lied about completing a service and to please credit my card and cancel my monthly service. I was connected to the "manager" and was told they would not refund me the $86. I called ***************** who put the $86 claim in dispute. 30 days later I received another bill from Romex for $35 as a dispute fee. I'm not sure if this company has a new owner or what is going on with the lies and complaints here on BBB. I was a happy customer with ********************** for over 2 years with no problems but seems like the business has changed hands to some dishonest people who don't know how to run a business.

      BEWARE of this company. A salesman came to our door asking if we wanted them to spray our yard. He said if we were not satisfied they would come back and spray again for free. We waited about 2 weeks and still saw wasp nests that were not phased, tons of ants and spiders. My husband called and told them that they needed to come back and use something stronger. They came back for about 20 mins and charged $195 (to my card on file) saying that was their next scheduled spray. We had signed a year contract for 4 future sprays. This was not supposed to be one of those sprays. When my husband called to tell them that there should not have been a charge, they told him they moved our next spray up a week and yes, it was part of the contract. That was not the agreement that we understood. He told them he wanted to cancel the contract and before he even got the phone hung up the $250 cancelation charge was charged to our card on file. This is a terrible company and they dont care about their customers. They have young salespeople riding through neighborhoods selling door to door and they dont properly explain the contract. Also, after the second spray, my husband had to go around and kill **** and knock down nests himself. Neither spray had any effect on pests. This was the *****, ** location we dealt with.

      I had ***** come out and service for my termite issue. April 24th We are not happy with the way we were serviced. I have not had any communication with romex from the beginning- changing schedule without my knowledge. I was book for a Monday for estimation and was rescheduled for another day without my knowledge. I end up calling that Monday and found out that they had change the date. I took off work that day and was extremely upset. But ***** end up making time to come out for an estimation. But then it happened again when I book actual service for termites. Why? Especially without the knowledge of a customer that works a full time and have to come home and make time to get serviced for $1500.i am frustrated because we could not find any way to get a phone call several times. Im reaching out because I NEED A REFUND. We need all the baits around the house remove. For just the bait and spot treating inside was not enough. Especially how much we paid. New damage in July. You would think its better now. We have found more new damage. He didnt thoroughly check - he took a glance here and there- I had to show him all of the damage he had missed- and now Im dealing with the consequences. We had him come out the second time to treat the WHOLE house and he claim he didnt have enough products. Especially for a company that deals with specifically treating. Nothing was drilled outside. And with termites, you cant just treat one area. He told us that he will have his boss ***** call on a Friday- which he said we should expect a call on Monday or Tuesday . We did not receive any. We waited and 3 days after I called on Wednesday (yesterday) to have somebody call me. They said *** will call me - his name is *******/ ***. He tells me ***** was going to call me back. Now the day is Thursday and ***** did NOT call me. This is the NOT AT ALL THE SERVICE I am looking for and beyond disappointed AND MAD. Instead of writing a bad review, ** reaching out here first.

      company is billing me for services i did not receive.they claimed they sprayed the exterior of my home 07/12/2023 between 12:40 PM and 1:00 PM however i work from home and no one came to provide the services they charged my bank account for.when i called them to rectify the matter , the department to cancel and receive a refund from was conveniently unavailable and the phone representative i spoke with was unclear as to when i'd be contacted back.

      I entered into a 1 year every other month service agreement with Romex Pet Control on June 27, 2022. On June 27, 2023, after 1 year, I informed Romex that I no longer needed their service and did not want to renew the service agreement. Romex purports the agreement was not fulfilled and is trying to charge me an early termination fee because there were only 5 services performed and not 6, however the agreement states that it is for a term of 12 months and makes no reference to the number of services performed. I stated that in their words "This agreement is for an initial period of 12 months." and the manager on the phone said they understand that. Then he told me that my two options were to schedule another service or pay a $250 cancelation (on an expired contract).

      I contracted Romex for a one year service. The very first service I did not get my $170 worth. The tech just sprayed the perimeter (and omitted all the other treatments we paid for) and left within 30 minutes, and in a few days we had 9 wolf spider nests in our back yard, 1 black widow, and scores of ants crawling over our house foundation. Nearly the exact same thing happened to our neighbors, one house over. They also canceled the Romex service for this reason.We were supposed to receive the following for $170 every other month;- DT Powder in all the weep holes of the house.- Lawn granulation for ants.- Perimeter Spray for crawling insects.- Rodent Trap.- Scorpion and snake deterrent.- We asked not to spray inside the house the first time. I could not find a rodent trap anywhere on the property, I checked all the weep holes with cotton swabs, and they came out clean every time. I checked the lawn for granulation and found none. I checked for deterrent pellets and found none. The lawn looked like it had not been touched at all, and we had the infestation to prove it. I also took a video and showed cust. service as proof.After my first attempt to cancel the service, I was told that I had 3 days to cancel without incurring the cancelation penalty, but the tech didnt even come out until five days after signing the contract. Also in my email correspondences, it took customer support at least 5 days to return my emails, and on one occasion 6 to respond. I prefer to use email as communication. So, even if I initiated a cancelation immediately, there's no way to stay within the 3 day provision. It took me 24 days to cancel the service. I requested cancelation in writing 3 times, and the 3rd time demanded it be finally closed immediately. At which point it took an other 4 days to hear back from customer service. I requested cancellation on May 19 and the account was finally closed on June 12. 3 day window is not possible.Thanks

      06/13/2023. I was dissatisfied with the service provided. The sales representative assured me that all services I inquired about were included, but they were not delivered. When I called to express my concerns and discuss cancellation, I faced rudeness and unprofessionalism from both ******* and ****, the managers. They repeatedly interrupted me and refused to waive the $250 cancellation fee. The agreement discrepancy was also a point of contention.Despite promises, Romex Pest did not provide regular services as agreed upon. They failed to treat my entire property and neglected essential tasks. I encountered various pests and had to handle the situation myself. When I tried to resolve the issue with ******* and ****, they were defensive and unhelpful. They canceled my account without consent and charged the cancellation fee.I requested contact information for a higher authority, but both managers claimed to be the highest level of authority within the company. They refused to provide any further assistance or corporate details. Their behavior was unprofessional and unethical throughout the entire interaction.Moreover, the sales process lacked transparency, as the service agreement was not provided in a physical format. The sales representative only presented an electronic signature box without a visible agreement, which raises concerns about their sales practices.In conclusion, I never agreed to cancel the service, yet Romex Pest canceled it without my consent and charged the cancellation fee to my card. Their lack of transparency, unprofessionalism, and unethical behavior left me feeling wronged. I advise potential customers to approach the company cautiously and be aware of their questionable practices. My primary request is to have the account canceled and the cancellation fee waived.

      This has been my regular company for a couple of months. I found rat droppings and saw a rat in my garage and they cant come for six days. I tried to cancel and find a different service because thats ridiculous. They have obviously taken on too many customers. I simply want to cancel and use a company that can get here quicker than six days they want to charge a $250 fee the manager was a clown.

      Romex Pest Control is trying to charge me a cancellation fee for not completing all 7 scheduled services. The agreement has a schedule they are supposed to abide by and one month they skipped because "They didnt have a technician available" and now were at the end of the date and in order to cancel they want me to complete a 7th service or pay a $250 cancellation fee. They are the ones who broke the contract. ******* who I spoke with said this is my fault because July 8th I responded to a text from them asking if " We will be performing a free termite inspection will you be available?" I responded same day with "No I wont, I dont need it, thank you though." And tried to claim I rescheduled a month which I clearly didn't do, which doesn't even make sense because they still serviced my house in July. Spoke to ******* twice in the cancellation team and he continues to place blame on me after he admitted that for one month (September) they didn't have a technician available so they skipped it and messed up the schedule and are now trying to get a cancellation fee out of me. I no longer live at the address theyre trying to service and if they had kept the schedule this wouldn't have been an issue.
