THEY DESERVE ZERO STARS. The store manager ********************* called me yesterday on 5/5 to tell me my bill was 2 weeks overdue when it was only a week overdue being I pay monthly. However, they would have been paid by 5/10. He did not like that answer and became rude I can't wait that long with an attitude. Well today my card was charged when it was NOT authorized. When I called, I was told I was on auto pay. Please tell me how I was on auto pay today but yet he called me yesterday because it was overdue which means yesterday, I was NOT on auto pay, and I never logged in my account except for the last payment I made last month. So, they illegally charged my card without my authorization and put me on auto pay manually from their end. DO NOT GET MERCHANDISE FROM THEM. Thank the gods Im a few payments away from pay off so I wont have to deal with these people anymore.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. I have rented furniture from rent a center years ago and was quite satisfied with my price and service surprisingly it was in the rough part of town in *******. Now fast forward 5-6 years later I ordered a bed frame from the one in Gwinnett. I missed 1 payment due to a dangerous situation that I endured where my purse money and phone was stole from me by force. They contacted my mom and she informed them of what was going on and told them I would pay double on my next payment. My payments are due every other Friday. Today 5/5/23 makes the second payment and I was going in to pay today. Before I could even get out of my bed I get a knock on my door and none stop phone calls of them trying to come take my merchandise. Ive already received numerous or calls and voicemails on my mother phone as well as numerous voicemails on my phone. I didnt know this company doesnt work with their customers. Instead of understanding my situation and allowing me to pay past due and current on the same day from one missed payment. I do not recommend ANYONE to rent from themRent-A-Center, Inc.

I made arrangements for Autopay, I paid on time every time for 2 years. 12 items were paid on time off entirely or early. I had surgery, I missed one payment. I called and reset everything to auto pay. They still sent men to my door every day to try and scare me, they called me 15 times a day. When I was home and the two big men came knocking on my door, they did not know why. I spoke with the store manager on the phone. I asked why they are harassing my family and I when we already set up auto pay to get back on track? He had no answer. Ridiculous. They knew I had 3 surgeries in a month. I already made the arrangements with them that put autopayments back on track. Fear and harassment are bad business practices.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

I have multiple things from there. I pay for a warranty so that if anything happens they can be fixed. Well my washer stopped working and they told me they are not going to fix it they want me to keep paying for it which I’m not going to they won’t take it back. It has been sitting in my driveway I don’t want the set if they aren’t going to work and not going to get fixed when something happens. We have tried giving things back and they won’t take it if I have to keep the non working washer they need to write it off. The customer service is horrible.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

Worst customer service experience I've ever encountered!! The local store will try to swindle you out of your money and force you to use the store rather than the website and prevent you from using coupon codes. I was treated rudely and couldn't get the service or the discount. Rent a Center is a fraudulent company. A scam, thieves. Extremely disappointed. They tamper with your account and try to force to pay whatever they want. BBB should look into this company more closely.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

If I could give zero or negative stars, I would do so - -100 stars. I have been chasing a refund from this company since September of 2022. On top of being nonresponsive, they make you jump through all kinds of hoops to get the refund. Got a letter confirming the refund in September 2022...nearing the end of April 2023 and still nothing. Worst customer experience I've personally dealt with in my life. Avoid working with this company at all costs.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

Dear Bob's Furniture Corp Leadership,
My table purchase and delivery was an EXCELLENT experience!
However, I was two days away from complete my purchase of your Grand Manor Bed and 5 Drawer Chest set. My purchase would have been thru the AcceptanceNOW program; who are COMPLETE PREDATORS/SHYEST financial business company, that PRAY on those of us who are re-building our credit, hard-working and earnest consumers!
I came in on 4/5 to discuss a $30 discrepancy with my grand total purchase of the bedroom items and came to a horrible discovery that THEM PEOPLE should NOT be ALLOWED to service your prospective and valued customers!!!!!
I have NEVER done business with a credit or leasing company that was NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM my cash payout amount w/i the first 90/120 days of contract and continued to suggest that come 120th day that I would end up paying "more" than $2738.69, w/o being able to clearly explain how or why; should I have budgeted myself to make larger payments thru-out the initial 120 days, totaling to said amount.

If I could give zero stars I would, mark my words rent a center, This is not over, how I was treated as a first time customer was absolutely disgusting and I will be going above and beyond to do something about it. Overall the company is great, but the managers in the retail stores not so great and that's going to take the company down in the long run, because nothing is being done.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

I went into the store to help my brother that is disabled to ask why he has been charged so much for a computer for his grandson whom he’s raising. The man who was working was very rude and argued with me in front of other customers when I inquired about their interest rates. He informed that their interest rate is 50% which is outrageous. My brother has already paid $1,200 and was informed he still owes $1,200 with no end in sight. I feel like this company is taking advantage of people who have lower income.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

I got screwed by the Lebanon, Ohio Rent a Center to the point I am planning to seek legal action against them. A few months ago my Parents rented a HP Laptop on good faith to help me out because my Laptop was getting old and the performance was getting worse. They are 81 and 82 years old and are not computer people but wanted to surprise me with a Laptop. The fact is they were told it was a brand new Laptop but when I drove over to pick it up from them the first thing I noticed were several surface scratches on the Lid of the Laptop. That was enough information to believe that they had screwed my parents but the final straw was the fact that someone else's name was on the Laptop when I turned it on and since I did not know that person's 4 digit code I could not open to the main screen. I immediately drove to the Rent a Center and they made some awful excuse that the Laptop was repaired and that was the name of the repairman who fixec it and I know that for a fact that this Laptop was never repaired after it had been returned by the previous renter before they stucvk it back on the floor to screw someone else. I have been back several times to have it worked on and they have refused and just recently I dropped it off on March 28th 2023 to be fixed because the computer had a black screen and would not let me do anything. I was told that they were headed to the Computer store the next day and would take it there to have it repaired. I picked it up Friday March 31 2023 because I was told by a couple of their employees that the Laptop had been fixed. When I enquired as to what had been repaired on the Laptop they could not tell me a thing. When I got it home and turned it on the Laptop still was black and they also had put another surface scratch on the Top and there was what appeared to be a nick in my screen. 4 DAYS AND THEY DID NOTHING TO GET IT REPAIRED AND MAKE THINGS RIGHT. THEY ARE RUNNING A VERY FRAUDULENT STORE AND DO NOT STAND BEHIND ANYTHING .Rent-A-Center, Inc.
