      I ordered something I was gonna return it I said order me another one on the same contract they changed my contract without me signing it all I want to do is just return it now but for them to be able to change your contract that should not be right because it was a computer contract is it because I signed but I never signed the second contract I signed one contract for seven payments not a second contract for a 24 payments

      I would barely give this company a 1, they add so much interest and principal on items it is very vicious. That is besides the point, I took 2 sofas and a tv from the *** in ******, ** back in September 2021 and I never missed a payment but fast forward over a year later into this renting agreement to later own; I missed February payment of this year. Little would I know here comes crusty dusty *** people at my door with a notice to return property for missing a payment, mind yall I have 6 payments left and I cannot wait until I am done, I will never take anything from this company again and I will be writing a review on their ****** page. It is disgusting the way they treat people, completely disrespectful, the audacity after youve paid these people thousands of dollars all to miss one payment and they pull out the threats to repossess your items and bring in lawyers and send you to collections, *** get a life I hope this company downfalls

      Rent-A-Center transactions are not financing arrangements or loans. We purchase the merchandise selected by the customer from the host store, and then rent the merchandise through a terminable rental purchase agreement that contained the disclosures as required by applicable law. Rent-A-Center has reviewed this review and determined the primary complaint is regarding certain contractual obligations stated in the rental purchase agreement, which the customer failed to comply with. We apologize that Ms. ***** has had a poor experience, and encourage her to contact our customer service at ************ should she have further concerns.

      horrible service, all employees seemed nice in the beginning at the store location in **********. I am a reader so of course I read my contract was told I could return products anytime and also get my money back. not only am I being refused my money back but also being told that they will be taking back the products I've been paying for since oct of ****************************************************************************** the said contract why would I return something I've been paying for along with renters insurance as well. Not only that but my weekly payments went from 147 to 295 mind you my monthly payments do not exceed no more than 400 dollars. Not only do Feel ripped off but I also am. I will be getting a lawyer to file harassment charges as well.

Rent-A-Center accommodates returning the merchandise in accordance with the terms of the rental-purchase agreement, specifically in paragraphs "Termination," and "Our Rights To Take Possession". Since the rental-purchase agreement constitutes a lease of the merchandise, we are still entitled to payment for the time you rented the merchandise, and we do not refund payment received during that time.       I have collection calls from a Rent a Center agency every few years. last one was a week ago. Before that was 2018. The first one stated I rented something from a place in **** in 2010 - 2011 that I never lived (2017) I said I never lived there I lived in ******** at that time. The call last week stated I rented it in ************** area in 2016 (I didn't live in ************** in 2016. ***************** was sketchy at best could not give me what I allegedly rented. *** would not give me his name and I repeated my questions he advised me he already answered and hung up. I want answers and I have reached out to Rent A Center with nobody contacting me back. I would like this matter resolved.

      Most horrible experience in my life. This location recently has a new manger name ***** he will call you threatening you, hanging up the phone shouting like a 3 year old that didn't get his way. The staff is extremely unprofessional it's hard to communicate because the staff have strong Spanish accent and can't properly interpret what's your saying in English. This was my second account with ******************** and I've learn a very valuable lesson * NEVER AGAIN DO NOT DO IT TO YOURSELF * I hope this review helps someone make a better choice that I wish I would have made. The fact ***** was speaking to me like it was his furniture he paid for it mind you I'm one payment away from being paid off, talking about *I'm coming to take my furniture*like he owns it not rent a center HORRIBLE . But God is able and he is working miracles out ***** came in my path because god needed me to help someone else who may encounter an ***** . He doesn't need to be working with anyone's customers

      I purchased a ********** back in 2021 and paid for it in full in Wilmington **. Currently, the ** is not working, and Rent a Center is doing nothing to help. I feel they should provide some sort of warranty for their customers. A ** should last only a year and a half. I spoke with the store manager ************************* and he did nothing to help me or even seem concerned so it seems that possibly, they sell defective items so BEWARE!!! I will also be making a complaint to the corporate office
