      It has been my experience that this store makes up prices depending on who answers the phone.I have been over charged and lied to repeatedly. Today I was trying to pay my final bill and the person charged me thirty dollars more than what was quoted and whats on my receipt.I was rude and he was rude and he hung up on me.Keep your receipts Keep your records I will get my apology and pay my final bill and be done with this business and their overcharging and rudeness

      If I could give zero stars I would. I bought a couch and love seat out right. Its barely a year old and the love seat is falling apart. Since in didnt finance with them, there is nothing they can or will do. I will never buy anything from this company again and this is the 2nd set of furniture Ive gotten from them. But after the dismal of my concern I do NOT recommend business with them.

      My Experience with Rent-to-Own Merchandise Over the years, I have been a loyal customer of Rent-to-Center, consistently making timely payments on my merchandise. In 2022, I leased a television and made payments without any issues.However, when I relocated to a new area one hour away, I contacted the location from which I had previously leased the television (HotSprings). The representative informed me that the distance was too far for him to drive and that I would need to move the television myself. He also offered to transfer all of my other merchandise to the new location.During the process of moving the television, the screen was damaged, rendering it unusable. I contacted the new location to request a replacement, as I had insurance coverage for the items and was entitled to either replacement or pick-up. However, I was informed that no replacement had been sent and that I would be contacted further.Despite this, I continued with my daily life, as I had multiple televisions at home and was also dealing with a challenging teenager. Therefore, the television was not a priority at the time.Despite my repeated attempts to contact Rent-to-Center I have not received any response. This situation escalated when I was arrested last year for theft of a lease rental property. I was pulled over while on my way to work and charged with theft based on a warrant that I had never received. I was unaware of this warrant and contacted Rent-to-Center to explain my situation.Upon investigation, Rent-to-Center informed me that my account had been written off in 2023. However, I was still being arrested in 2024 on a warrant that I was not aware of. This resulted in a day of lost pay, the towing of my car, and a court appearance where Rent-to-Center failed to even attend Last month, I had to request a continuance to obtain legal representation, as no one was willing to listen to my side of the story. I subsequently returned the damaged television to the original location.Unfair!

      As a customer to **********************, I will say that the store Manager is awful. He talks to people very rude and degradingly. He uses the stores text/messaging system to send out rude messages as well as being rude and snobby on the phone and in person. I have solely started handling all of my business strictly online to limit contact with him. Ive also blocked every number that he contacts from. When my husband was in the hospital he said too bad he was coming to repossess our items because I hadnt had time to cash my check. I also told him depending on payroll processing, depends on the time I receive my check previously. Hes told me on many accounts that the store doesnt need my business they have other customers and he gets paid regardless if I have an account or not. I believe Rent a center is a good store he is just the bad apple out of the bunch. Id recommend business to them if it wasnt for him but no human deserves to be talked to the way he talks to people. Rent a center should think about better employees for the face of their business.

      My experience with this company was good until this manager(****) and and employee (**** *****) has been working there. **** actually said to me (if you **** me off, then I will tack on interest, but otherwise there's no interest in you past account). And the manager (****) has backed **** up, including laughing at what he said, and the Manager even said (yep). But yet **** tries to go after and try to be with any woman, no matter what, including when he knows that she is in a relationship. I DO NOT TRUST THE EMPLOYEES OR THE MANAGER WHO WORKS AT THE GET IT NOW STORE IN *********, *********> This business is run unprofessionally, and Improper!!!!!

      Awful customer service. They give you used nasty furniture, dont cancel out your contract even though you sent the stuff back and keep calling telling you that you owe them. They get rude and hang up on you. Call the customer service line and they are rude and unhelpful also. Worst experience ever.

      I wish I could give 0 stars but I cant. Very unorganized and poor communication. We order a sectional less than 2 month ago. It has a hole at the bottom where I can stick my arm in it but not only that the brand new couch came with mites. We have called over and over and over again with no resolution. We are constantly being bit and that should never be a thing. We called corporate and that is worthless also. The manager **** doesnt try to find a resolution and just passes blame onto the next employee. We get the most/best communication from Janeer( she should be the manager). We are at the point that we want to return the furniture and go else where. We need this fixed and compensation. The fact that they are more willing to pick up the section for us vs just fixing the issue is plain sad. Wont do business there in the future( once paid off or returned).

      They employ harassment techniques. I was a couple days late in that time I received multiple emails , texts and phone calls. I paid my bill and hours later a man is knocking on my door harassing me for payment, which I had made! They are ridiculous! I was not weeks or months a couple days .

      I had A previous good experience I needed a washer and it was excellent. They helped out right away no issues. However, I put an order in for a twin sized mattress on December 5 of 2024. I checked the website and it said they will contact me when the mattress is available. A month goes by and no one contacts me so I checked the website and see that its still saying waiting For mattress. But I call the store anyways the lady that answered at first didnt realize I had ordered the mattress and didnt see it on on my record and I said no I definitely ordered one and Im paying for it and she said oh no let me look further into that. She had my her boss call me next day. he said he would deliver it himself that day or the next. Never received the delivery or a phone call back. I text them and someone said Ill call you In five minutes no phone call. At this point, Id rather them cancel the mattress order and put all of the money that Ive been paying for the mattress towards my washer. I understand is a busy time of year, but its extremely unprofessional to be charging a customer and not given them the product and then to give them a runaround for going on almost 2 months at this point. Once my washer is paid off, I will never do business here again. And its a Real shame my family has been doing business with Rent-A-Center since Ive been four years old
