      1 start because you have to put a star, otherwise they get 0 stars from me I rented a used stove November 14, 2024. It was nasty, dirty, just filthy. I asked the employee if they have it cleaned before they delivered it, she said yes I was clean it myself. The stove arrives at my home and was not clean not even a little. I called she apologized and said she would take 100 off I agreed. She put her boss on the phone he insisted on taking more money off. The stove was originally "on sale" for 800. After all my complaints, it enelded up being $400, still not worth it, why because the oven didn't work when I initially turned it on. I called and complained again. The manager of the store acted as if he would set me up repair but never did because I hadn't made my payment ( I was 2 days late) He went on to say we'll ms ****** you only paid 10 down, I'm not going to pay to send for a repair if were picking the stove up( never told them to pick it up, only repair) I said why would I keep paying for stove that half work? He said well we can come get the stove and i can find someone who is willing to buy a half working stove! (Wow) I said I'll be making my payment online. He said we'll when you do I will set you up for repair. I paid online that evening and never heard from him again. I called cooperate and they claim they called the store and that the manager would be calling me. A week went by and no call. I called the store today and the manger is so called busy, so I said I would call cooperate again which I did and cooperate didn't answer those second attempt I called again and music played and then it stopped but no one answered I hung up got on the bbb to file a compaint. Rent a center don't ever have to worry about my business again. Since these new people came in it's went down hill. When the previous manager( I can't call his name) was there I had no problems. I still have my washer and dryer set still working in great condition! After this stove issue I'm done.

      As a consumer my experience with this particular store the employees that has been the handling my account taking payments have been causing me unnecessary confusion due to the fact that I had already complained about a dryer which was delivered to my current residence and I had took pictures of the dryer to explain why I felt it wasn't safe and it's needed to be excellent the exchange while still making payments on a dryer that needed service the coil around the door came off and I had to call corporate in order for the locat store to respond promptly to my complaint

      They ripped me off at this store. Took my money put into a pc. They said i could get a ps5 i had enough credit to pay for used one. They said no more used have to pay for new. I said ok, you know what they delivered? A used one. This place is racketeering. On top of all this rhey wont stop emailing me no matter how many times i unsubscribe. They need to be investigated.

      Thanksgiving runed by ***************************************************************************. Me and my family have/had a great agreements in the past and we have never been late or miss a payment in the decades we've been dealing with rent a center even thou we had dealt with a different location. We had been calling for about 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving and we informed that i would get call back by 3 different employees.1 manager 1 regular employee and the kicker was by the district manager the like to call me out of my name Infront of my family and friends and even the people heard all of it including the names. I was given the run around and was promised to be fixed and then at around 4 p.m. the day before thanksgiving a single woman about 5 foot tops showed up just to find any problem they can even thou it was 101 % the fault of the store and they know it. it was amazing how quick that store changed once the got money and at that point i felt like because I'm handicap and in a wheelchair that no concern was given. There was no reason behind this besides pure smite and malice and should be looked at for the handicapped and elderly. We should not be walk upon and talked to that way and should be extremely embarrass with the action that they feel entitled to do. But if that's the standard operations then ill offer my services to retained your employees how people should treat people or at least how to interact with people. form a very long time costumer or at least was ******* ******

      I made a purchase online, which stated delivery to the store would be on December 7th. When I called the store, the man on the phone was very rude and said he didn't know when it would be delivered but he would call me. He finally called and said it was delivered and I could pick it up on December 13th but I needed a co-signer, even though I was already approved for well over the amount of the item I bought. On December 14th they processed a payment so when my co-signer attempted to pick up the item, she was told she had to wait to talk to the manager and to come back in 2 hours. She called to speak to the manager after 2 hours and he said she had an old agreement from 2022 that she didn't pay for. She had confirmation that she paid it and was attempting to explain that to him but he began talking over her in a very condescending way and not letting her speak. When she began asking about the payment they already processed for my item, the manager hung up on her. She called back and said she wanted to know why it shows she didn't pay off her agreement and would have me get someone else to co-sign and he said he was cancelling my agreement and hung up again. I should have asked around before attempting to do business there because several people in our town has had negative experiences there with the same manager. I had to leave 1 star to leave my rating. I would give 0 stars if I could.

      By far the easiest 1 star review I could give a business. I loved the rent-a-center at my last state so I wanted to give ******** a try. It was great at first, fast efficient and the team was respectful, until the manager came into play. Clearly she fails at communication with her own team especially when it comes to picking up items and times, as they've also confirmed she doesn't tell them anything, but also the way she upholds herself in the management position. She fails at customer service, is extremely rude, and will take missed payments or accidental reversals on accounts as far as threatening your career and lawsuits if its not fixed or paid in 24 hours. She doesn't like resolutions, she likes to be mean and very very condescending. I truly hope that Rent-a-Center looks into her as a manager because it isn't a good spot, its only going to lose them more customers on how she treats them. She will also claim that the "banks are all lying" if something doesn't go her way. Who knows, maybe the BBB could look into her to at this point. All I know is ****** learned and I should've listened to reviews and word of mouth before I went there. ******* is a MUCH better place to go to if you want to rent furniture, but amazon and ****** furniture to buy the same stuff and cheaper with discounts in the end. I also highly advise to record many conversations if on the phone, because her story always switches.

      I have an Xbox one series X from this company. I went jobless for a little bit so they didnt get payments from me I am now working and have full intentions to pay them but they continue to harass me constantly all day I mean they will call me 3-4 times a day but particularly due to me working overnights I sleep past 12:00 they called and I missed it. They then decided to go upon themselves and call my grandfather and my mothers phone which I did not provide to them which is totally unacceptable. This is harassment the law is they can only call me once a day. And if I didnt give them my mother and grandfathers number they shouldnt be calling them.

      Went in on Black Friday to get a PS5.Stood there for a good 10 minutes, but no help cause obviously the Hispanic lady was to busy sitting in the office with the door open, on the guys lap making out with him. Do what you want in your own time. But when at work, you need to do your job, not other employees!
