The whole rent a center operation is DISGUSTING the employees terrible. The manager on north plank rd in newburgh ny is so unprofessional vaping and blowing smoke in my husbands face and with me moving into a new house they are deciding not to deliver to me because the house looks "abandoned". I will be recommending to EVERYONE THAT NO ONE RENTS FROM THEM thats goes for every rent a center because i had the same issue with the rent a center in ********** on ****************.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

*********************** in ****** ks I had my payments set on auto pay and they been taking the money out of my account several times now. But they said that they did not have records of so then I showed them the recipes and and confirmation numbers along with my bank statements and they said that my payment was going to the rent a center in ***** not the store in ****** so they took my stuff anyways. Not only that but they insulted me and criticized me and said that I was pathetic and worthless all because some how my payments were going to the wrong store. I kept on trying to tell them that I made my order online not in the store so I didn't know that they weren't getting the payments. Not only that but they were not listening to anything I was trying to say or anything instead called me names and made me feel horrible.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

After a thorough investigation, we found no evidence of unprofessional conduct by our employees.Instead, it was determined that **************** displayed unprofessional behavior during the retrieval of our property. Additionally, our records indicate that the payments made on Ms. ******* account were for optional services she voluntarily opted into. If Ms. ****** has documentation showing her $60.64 semi-monthly rent renewal payments during the course of her agreement, we kindly request that she provide this proof to her local store.Review fromDeeja D

The store manager ***** as the name she constantly gives but on all my receipts its ******* S called my phone harassing me after I requested for a district manager to give me a call.Since Ive come to this store my experience with the employees has been terrible. ******* keep changing my phone number in the system and claiming she forgot and remind you I always record every single conversation rather in store or on the phone. She hates when you call customer service for anything but gone call my phone disrespectful today, I hung up she called back yelling because she knew she lied and tried to say oh Ill change it for today no maam get me your district manager so he can hear how rude and nasty you are. I always record NO MATTER WHAT and to call making threats about a lawyer I stay with one especially now Im in a wheel chair. This lady ******* IS **** AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL. She changed my number in the system like the ticket wasnt already made and customer service was able to tell me the number she placed on my account. She also changed my email address so I couldn't access my account. She said she will sale my social security number. After speaking with *************** she changed all my information in the system and the only reason I was able to get my information is using my last 4 digits and agreement number.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

Rent A Center in *********, ** charged my account on the due date of the payment on 7/13 then again on 7/20 then turned around and told my husband the bill was ***************************************** cash. When I went in to complain the lady, *****, in the store told me this was their procedure and if I had a complaint I could speak to their Store Manager ****. She gave me a ***** number to call. I called that number and the person I was speaking to said the Manager was Will and he didn't know a ****. I know **** because he set up my account but when I asked for him the lady ***** in the store told me he didn't work there but **************** said he did. When I started to go over the charges that came out of my bank account the **************** Rep told me he could not explain the charges and he could no longer speak to me regarding this matter because this was a franchise store and he could no longer assist me. He redused to give me the name of the Franchise owner and told me to speak with the store. I told him I did and they gave me his number, he said he could not help me. The entire time I was speaking with him I was outside the store, when I tried to return to the store they Closed at 4:22 pm even though it said they did not close until 6pm.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

zero stars is what I want to give them. I work for the post office so I literally am only off on Sunday which is why I did my purchase online, I paid signed my contracts through DocuSign, and scheduled delivery for the next day. I waited for the delivery window to close before I called the store looking for my stuff only to find out that the store I ordered from, even though its closer to my house, was not in my service area. They had me to call the *************** location to transfer my contract, it was 30 min to closing apparently so they had me to call back today 7/18/24, so I did, I spoke to a guy who put me on hold to look up my info the a woman picked up the line and asked what I needed. I told her I was waiting for the guy who put me on hold and immediately got attitude and complete rudeness from a her, she claims she runs the store and she told me I should get a refund without even hearing what I needed. She ended up saying some very unprofessional things and hung up. I had to call the other store and just cancel the stuff because I refuse to spend my money on a company that's ok with the way their staff treat their customers. I wish I would have saw the reviews before my experience because I would not have even wasted my time.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

Couldnt rent from them because I work for a staffing company. When I asked why, they said we just dont do staffing agencies as a source of income so no reason. My money doesnt count since Im a temp. All of this over a $30 AC unit.Rent-A-Center, Inc.

Bad employee **** entered my home after he saw me leave my house after we exchanged words ..he went to my door where my 16 year old daughter answered she stated I had just left he proceed to enter any way not asking if there was another person 18 years or older home (I have it all on my home camera)He then continued to go back and fourth with my ********************************************************************************************** and say when his guys leave the store he has no idea where there going Ive called corporate 3 times and was told a distract manager would contact me but his yet to do so .Simething needs to be doneRent-A-Center, Inc.

The rent a Center on nolensville pike in ********* is garbage I had a manger name ***** call me to argue you with me because I wasnt calling for the scam I paid Friday on Monday they tried to charge me again said I was late then the have a bunch of druggies working there nashville is the worse place to deal Ill never rent anything else from them . Then they came and stole the washer back I didnt sign anything I was at work but I will never pay 56 bucks for a washer that I signed to 20 bucks a weeks they should be closed down in ********* all they hire is drug attics and thugs they guy that delivered my washer was talking crazy because my door had to be removed he refused and left and you can tell they are atticsRent-A-Center, Inc.

***** is the manager at the streator Illinois location is one of the most unprofessional individuals I have ever dealt with. She should not be working with the public , a friend of mine has proof of everything they have paid off and she is now claiming that it is not paid off. But according to the corporate office they were paid in full . Along with a $1400 credit for them being over charged. And to top things off the took a payment for a new agreement and now refuse to uphold the contract or issue a refund. I have read many complaints about this manager ***** and of ignorant she and others are to customers the corporate office needs to take action against these employees and investigate ever they have been doing for over 3 yrs now .Rent-A-Center, Inc.

The new store manager is extremely rude, unprofessional, she threatened to have me arrested if I didnt pay my bill on time, and calls from text now apps 10 times a day. For sure thats against the law and considered harassment.Rent-A-Center, Inc.
