      I received a phone call on 8-30-2023 from Consumer impact recovery about a payday loan that I never took out back in 2013, this is the first time I have heard of this

      Aug 30 2023, recieved phone call regarding a "pending civil matter". About a loan taken out with this company. I have not taken out any loans and am 100% sure this is a scammer. But they have peoples name and social. So there is a serious and obvious issue that needs to be handled. I was called by the phone number **********

      I received a call and my Aunt did as well from ************************ stating that I owed a debt from an original collector: EZCORP EZMONEY of $800 and now it's **** for a payday loan I took out back in 2015 supposedly. I have no idea what this is referencing and they have a past employer, former address and previous bank account. They stated that they have attempted to get a hold of me in the past and I had never heard of this company before. They stated this is a "notification of lawsuit and civil complaint", threatened wage garnishment. I have never received any notifications regarding this debt. They have the last 4 of my ssn as well as they saying they have my credit score. Can you please help me to figure out what they is all about? They are threatening to take me to court and stating that I am defrauding the client. I never remember taking out this loan.       I was contacted by Premier One Solutions last month, claiming they had been trying to contact me many times. When I made contact, I was immediately informed of a supposed debt in the amount of $1,6xx I owed to EZ CORP EZ MONEY. The mediation office was claiming to be a last attempt settlement before EZ CORP pursued legal action against me for the claimed amount. With very limited time and limited information from Premier1, I was rushed into an over the phone settlement for less than 25% of the original amount. Having time to communicate with all entities I currently have open accounts with, I have no affiliated business with EZ CORP EZ MONEY and have no idea what I paid my money to. During my attempts to inquire about the debt, responces from Premier One Solutions were generally, EZ CORP deals with 100's of businesses and financial agencies, we do not have time to go through the lists to validate your names. I have 2 standing accounts with Speedy Cash and Ace Cash Express, which BOTH have reassured me that none of my accounts have anything to do with EZ CORP EZ MONEY.       Just received a call from AFS Associcates for EZCorp saying that a loan was taken out in 2012/2013. Gave me a Case No. of ****. I have never ever done a payday loan and would never do a payday loan. They had all the correct information including my last 4 of social security and even my last address from 8 years ago. Also, the business name that my husband had back in 2010. I continued to request that they provide me with the information and he said that I should of received it at least 45 days ago in a letter and that I will be receiving it via process server for court. I continued to request a copy of proof and was continued to be denied. I had to even look up the company cause I have never heard of it.

      Someone by the name of *********************** ************** called on behalf of EZ Corp EZ Money expressing that I had a delinquent loan from 2019. The loan amount stated totaled $658.00. When asked for specifics about the loan they could not give me any information and stated that if I didnt pay if I would be tamed to court and could owe up to $2600. This company has called ******* family members attempting to collect a debt I never had because I never took out any payday loans. Im pretty sure this is some sort of scam & I hope they will be dealt with accordingly before someone loses a lot of money.

      I received a call from EzCorp. The orginal call is coming from a local number and they have called my parents and myself. Threatening to garnish my wages. After a while of the getting my social security number wrong, and me explaining that it is not correct, and them saying oh its a clerical mistake. I also explained I never took a loan out with the company, yet they still demanded I pay. I started yelling and told them they have incorrect information which tells me a loan was applied for in my name, or they were lying. The lady yelled she was going to get an attorney involved and have them talk to my attorney. Stating that they had all my information and that they were going to take it to court. For a loan I apparently took out 15+ years ago. If it is legit then why was everything but the first 3 numbers of my social correct? It would seem that the charges is falsified and need to be corrected ASAP. I also wrote down the SS# they kept stating. Though it may be someone else's SS I wanted to be sure I too had info reflecting the false claim.

      On August 17th I received a voicemail call from Premier One ****************************** who stated they represent EZ Corp EZ Money and are calling due to a pending civil claim, and that failure to respond in a timely matter will result in forfeiture of your right to resolve this matter voluntarily. I called them back and was told that I took out a loan from EZ Corp EZ Money for ****** and due to the account being delinquent I now owe them ******* and that every day that I don't resolve the issue a $200 fee will be added. I proceeded to ask questions regarding the company name and phone number so I could contact them directly and she stated that she does not have that information. I then asked about the location and timeline of the loan being taken out and she gave me an old address but could not give me a date of when the loan was taken. I stated that because of the lack of information and her inability to verify specific information for me, I would like more time to consult with my husband. She stated that she will put me down as disputing the claim and that she will start a "check system" process which will freeze all bank accounts under my social security number. I asked her when this freeze will take place and she said immediately. She then stated that she has given me all of the information that she has and hung up on me.

      I got a call yesterday 8/17/2023 stating I applied for a loan of ****** but I have not. These people know my birthday and social security number. My old job target which I have not worked in 11 years. They have 2 old emails that I no longer use they also stated that they mailed me out a letter July 3 I have not received this letter they stated I have a hearing date scheduled which it will come hand delivered to me they stated I have to pay ************************************************************************************************************************************************* not forget this they said the money was deposited in a meta bank now most payday loans have to go to a real banks account so these people are scammers also calling from a no caller Id number
