Reading customer comments below, mine are the same. Bought the machine, it was faulty, went through three remote sessions attempting software fixes that didn't work but caused additional problems. After that, two techs at the house replacing the mouse and keyboard, then the motherboard. When that didn't work I sent it into the repair center - they replaced the motherboard again. Upon receiving the computer back, mouse still unresponsive and strange black boxes appearing on the desktop. Phoned in, and was told I have a software problem and that I needed to pay $99 for assistance. I think I'm screwed. This has been going on since at least February. I also was a return customer - but no more. Just threw my money away.

I hate Dell's anti-consumer practices to my core.I consider myself somewhat tech-savvy compared to my mom and pops, and can do simple tech repairs like upgrading my RAM and SSD, making sure I have a compatible cable for display ports, or buying a new laptop charger with the correct Voltage/Wattage rating.I needed a new charger for my Dell Inspiron, so I went ahead and bought a genuine Dell charger with the correct Wattage rating online. I wasn't paying enough attention and ended up buying the correctly spec-ed charger with the 7.4mm tip rather than the 4.5mm tip. Normally, this is not a problem because I just go get a 7.4mm to 4.5 mm adapter. Indeed, at first glance, the laptop is receiving the power and is able to boot no problem. HOWEVER, I then got a ***************** Adapter" error, and while the laptop is being powered by the charger, Dell's Laptop would not charge up with the power being provided. This is so stupid!I bought a genuine Dell charger with the correct voltage and current spec for MY Dell laptop, but because of one little adapter, MY Dell laptop is now grounded to my table like a Desktop because the stupid laptop refuses to gain any charge! I took my Dell laptop to my local repair guy, and he was able to externally charge the battery with some kinda ***** gizmo so I now have a some charge but this method of forcefully charging is not practical nor economical.Dell, for the love of god, stop f****** over your customers with anti-consumer practices and ease up on your proprietary ********.What a miserable experience.

I am a 20 year Dell customer had several laptops and desktops in that time and always could depend on their reliability. That was until I purchased a laptop for my daughter bday that was delivered on 4/27/25. The next day it began having ****. We completed all updates. Still continued having ****. Then it started to continuously crash and overheat. When calling Dell they said we only had hardware warranty and any troubleshooting will be more money and no option to send back. This is totally unacceptable being that I just spent $1200 on a brand new computer. They finally instructed us to do a factory reset to see if it resolves it. Dell customer service, reliability, and devices have totally disappointed. They just lost a 20 year customer due to this.

I ordered a monitor on Dec 3rd for a new business. Recieved it a few days later and box was find from shipping but was not ready to set up the business yet as build out was taking a little longer. Opened the box on Jan 10th and set it up. When turned on there was a black line through the monitor. Immidiately called and created an online warranty/damaged issue. No response. Called 2 times over the next month and no one could help. Figures. Finally get someone at Dell that can figure out the situation and they say it was over 30 days and nothing they can do. Useless. S**** this company and will never buy anything from them again. Way to back up your products that show up damaged.

Sent my laptop in for repairs 3 times over a span of 2 months practically going 2 months without a laptop. First time they replaced the motherboard and the issue persisted, second time it was a ** reinstall and the issue persisted, third time they replaced the motherboard again AND reinstalled the ** again which still did not fix the issue. It was decided that my system was to be replaced under warranty. I agreed upon the system exchange they offered and went with sending my old system in first and them shipping the new one upon receiving my old one. It has been multiple weeks now since they have confirmed they received my old system and not only have they not shipped the new one to me they are basically ignoring me every step of the way. The will not give me updates and even the support team has told me they cannot get the exchange team to update them and that it is strange it has been delayed this long. They keep sending me the same cookie cutter email and tech support has tried to escalate it 3 separate times to no avail. I have gone almost 3 months now without a computer and despite me pleading with them that it is affecting my work and day to day life they still will not send the new one. After years of only getting Dell computer due to how much Ive loved them I cant say Id ever get one again after this because of how poor the customer service has been. Why did I get the premium warranty if this was going to happen and they would blow off sending the replacement? No one seems to care.

*** *. describes the exact same experience we had with our new Alienware Gaming computer. We bought it and it has spent more time being serviced than we have had using it. We've had to send it in to get parts replaced (after extensive over-the-phone walkthroughs that did nothing). They will only replace with a refurbished, not a new, computer. Has been nothing but a headache. Have purchased through Dell multiple times in the past but not again. Their customer service philosophy can best be described as "Dragging their feet and being as unhelpful as possible in the hopes that you'll give up and go away" Do not recommend

Dell Did A Update To There Windows, When I Called Them They Told Me It Was A ****** Printer Software Problem - I explained to them it was due to the software update.( Printer Worked Find Before Update. They Told Me They Could Fix It For $99.00. I Believe This Is A Scam ( I call Best Buy And Spoke With A Geek Squad And He Helped Me To Remove The Update Dell Put In. Printer Works Find Cost No Charge.

To make it simple. Purchased a dell all in one computer. The computer has never worked since the day I took it out of the box. Although dell has attempted to fix the computer numerous times. Just recently sent the computer back to Dell for repairs, the turnaround time was extremely quick. Unfortunately, the computer still doesn't work. Dell will not exchange the computer for a new one, will only exchange for a refurbished computer. Been using dell computers for my home and entire office forever and never really had a lot of issues until this computer. It's been super frustrating experience to buy a new computer and have it on my desk as a giant paper weight.

Longtime Dell Customer Never Again Ive been a loyal ********************** customer for years, but after my most recent experience, I will never purchase another Dell product again and I highly recommend that others think twice before doing ***** issue started with a Dell laptop that developed a serious hardware problem just outside the warranty window. Despite being a known issue with swelling batteries that affect other components (including the touchpad), Dell refused to take any accountability. Their responses were dismissive, scripted, and unhelpful. I was passed around between departments, and ultimately told that my only option was to pay full price for out-of-warranty repairs on a premium device that barely lasted two years.Even worse, I was told at one point that the sales team had been contacted and would offer discount options. That turned out to be completely false a flat-out lie. After multiple follow-ups, I was back to square one: no assistance, no ownership of the issue, and no willingness to even offer a gesture of goodwill. This company clearly has no loyalty to its customers and zero interest in standing behind its products. I expected better from Dell, especially given how long Ive trusted their brand. Ive spent thousands on their machines over the years, but after this experience, that ends now.Ill be leaving reviews like this on every platform possible to warn others. Dell's build quality is not what it used to be, and their customer support is even worse.Avoid **********************. Youll regret it when something goes wrong.
