      Do NOT rent from this agency. They insisted on $500,000 liability insurance to rent a car, or, you had to purchase their insurance. They claimed this was company policy which cannot be true. They said I might hit a Lamborghini! I showed them may ***** Farm declaration page reflecting current insurance of $50K. It was 10p at night off-site ************* and I was stuck, had to rent from them, but do NOT put yourself in that position. I complained to Priceline who reported that NU stated my insurance was expired, which was false. See above, declarations page. They're liars and scammers, stay away.

      This is the most crooked car rental place, I have ever used...run away...my 29$ car rental ....ended up costing 90$ a day ....because of my current 1000$ deductible and using a debit card....the custermer service just hangs up on you...and it takes over an hour to get from the air port to their lot....their shuttle service is a joke.

      The worst car rental place I have ever used. The issues were:The steering had an issue and was unsafe to drive. I called and emailed numerous times with no resolve. My phone calls were disconnected and I was hung up on 2 times. I asked to speak to a manager and not once was I allowed to speak to one. **************** said a manager will call me. They never did after 4 days. I was charged over $400 and a customer service rep said they would give me a $36 discount. I spent over 2 hours on hold over the numerous attempts. I am so frustrated and upset with this company I want to let every person I can tell of my horrible experience and I hope they never use this company. I know I will not. The car has stains all over the seats. The front right bumper is falling off. I only 1 key with no key fob. I waited in line for 45 minutes to get the vehicle. On and on my issues with this company go. Do not ever use them.

      Scammers. They charged my bank account for a rental vehicle they did not even have. They picked me up late at the offsite rental waiting area at the on-site airport rental center. 1 hour late. frustrating customer service. I believe they do this in purposed to make the customer forced to rent from their recommended offsite rental place--they said the rental I paid for was not available so they called the Rental *************** and charged me double the amount, I was charged double, including the hold amount. This is called stealing from customers. I had to call my bank to dispute these injustice charges. will never do an offsite rental again. this was the worse rental experience. NU is not worth my time and money at all!

      Book a car in *** ******** ,something told me to call and double check ,when i called the lady told me that she was feeling sick and shes going home and no one will be there and i have to take a taxi 99 mins away to ********;I then said can you assist me to get a car she replied no more places are open and take a taxi ,i then proceeded to read nu reviews and they are extremely disturbing..stay clear from this Company..

      I declined pre paid tolls but used 3 in a rush to return to airport. I knew it would cost me about $12.50 and maybe a small markup but my bill is $101.00. I'm disputing but not having much luck. Can they charge whatever they want even when I know the toll charges are $12.50? I used to live there and paid that same toll often just last year. The estimated 800% markup on actual cost is excessive and abusive. They can't possibly be allowed to do that. Or can they?

      NEVER AGAIN!! Dirty and Grungy!! When we got to their grungy office and waited in line 45 minutes, they finally informed us that the car, a Dodge Charger, which we had reserved way ahead, was not there. But they could put ** in a Jeep pickup. We refused and they said then go somewhere else. This Nu Car Rental is out in the middle of nowhere, WAY away from all the other rental car agencies. So we had to take the pickup. The truck was noisy, rough riding, and without much room at all. BUT, here's the worst part, when we went outside to get the truck, there sits a new Dodge Charger on display. So, we asked the lot attendant why can't we take that Charger? He doesn't know why not but sends the manager over to us. The manager comes walking over with all the attitude he could muster and asks my husband, "What's the problem?" My husband described that we had reserved the Charger and wanted to know why we couldn't take it? He replied, "That's none of your business!" My husband explained that we had reserved the Charger way in advance but were told once here that there were none on the lot. He said, "The Charger has a bad engine!" and that the Jeep pickup was a better vehicle to rent. The conversation went back and forth but the manager told us to take the pickup or go somewhere else. We took the pickup, but as we were going through the gates leaving NU CAR my husband asked the attendant if he knew anything about the Charger, the attendant told us, "the manager is taking it tonight." When we asked what the price difference was between the two vehicles, and could we see a price listing, they told us they don't have a published price on their cars. They only have one location in ******. RUN, NEVER USE this joke of rental car company.The truck was dirty inside and out. The office was filthy and was set up with folding tables for them to work at. We felt like we were in a third world country.

      My experience started off with the person at the counter trying to upsell me. Which is expected. Driving in the snow isn't my first rodeo. Been driving in the north for 36 years. I will not ever rent from ********. It's my fault for being in a hurry and not paying attention to the bill. But a extra $863 was added to my bill. There is no such thing as customer service at NU. All they want to do is s**** people over.

      This was absolutely the worst experience we have ever had renting a car. My husband and I travel often and were completely blown away at the process with this company. We booked thru Priceline and were given a price with itinerary and chose pay at the counter. We got to the airport NU car rental is not listed anywhere we called for over 3O mins before getting into how to get to the car rental pick up counter.When we got there they told us it was going to be ****** more because of our drop off time. The drop off time was put in at booing so why would that change. We actually had then listen to our insurance agent tell them we had full coverage for rental cars and they insisted we had to buy insurance thru then and then it was ***** a day for a toll box or ***** per toll if you didn't pay that. We actually called a friend and told them what we were dealing with and they brought us a car to borrow so my Husband didn't miss his performance. This was a work trip for him. I think this company should be investigated for bait and switch type buisness , sucked in at a low price then shady buisness practices.

      This place is SCAM!!!The prices on line are misleading.Luckily we were able to walk across the street and use enterprise without a hiccup at all.
