      I HAVE $2.30 IN LICENCE PLATE STATE TOLLS IN CO. NU CAR RENTAL CHARGES $30 ADMIN FEE TO PAY $2.30 IN TOLLS ! SCUM, COMPANY THE REVIEWS SHOW THIS

      ***************. The place is sketchy. They ask you for the declaration page but wont tell you thats your policy. And in that policy it specifically has to state youre covered for rental in ***********. Staff is rude and condescending. They raised their voice at me multiple times because I disagreed to pay $180 for insurance (which I have - my own - and emailed to them). Other customers also agreed all seemed like a scam plan. Poor area of town, not safe, they make you wait outside in the hot for pick up or return. Shuttle can take even 30 min to pick you up. Car was old, dinged and outdated. Bluetooth in car didnt work therefore navigation screen was useless. The Wi-Fi they used to offer and still shows in their contract for $5.99/day is not an option anymore. They also gave me the wrong contract (someone elses). Didnt give me a copy of check out. Stated their internet was down. Same issues when I was picking up the car. Worse car rental, never renting from those rude nuts ever again.

      same as the others in wish that orbits would be more transparent on this company.it started out at 53 a day but will.be 90 a day for charges for the real cost. so take my advise pass on this one

      We were told we need insurance and my husband said no. Nothing more. We went to turn the car in and a couple had a car reservation and because they didnt buy their insurance they wouldnt rent to them, even after they paid for the reservation online. They were stranded and they confronted them saying these people (us) didnt pay the insurance why cant they get a car without paying their insurance. The employee said something liketoo bad. We ended up taking them to another car rental company. I dont know how they stay in businessoh, yes they try to scam you!

      I'm going to start by saying that I never write reviews, but felt I needed to. I rented a car over the holiday with ******************** for 5 days. The total for the car rental cam to $542. When my husband was at the counter he denied all insurance coverage (since we own a trucking company.) Upon returning the car, I receive an email that we were charged an additional $700 for ********** services. This includes a cover over the back of the truck (which we never asked for) for an additional $300 and over $500 in every bit of extra insurance down to glass coverage and roadside service. My husband said that he denied the coverage and was asked to sign off on a tiny digital screen. If you read the 130 ONE star yelp reviews below it's a bait and switch. They tell you your signing off on not getting insurance and then profit off of scamming you if you don't read the fine print at the airport. I tried to take this up with the manager **** at the location. He refuse to talk to me and I was actually hung up on. I'm going to have to take it up as a credit card dispute.

      NU car rentals is the worst car rental I have ever used. Last October, I traveled to ********* with my children and my mother. The instructions werent clear on how to get our rental, so one of the other agencies said you have to call to come to pick you up. The person who answered the phone said Id be there in 5 mins; those 5 mins turned into an hour because the guy went to lunch and didnt tell the other people in their agency there. So, I had to catch a ride there when I saw another driver dropping off another client and asked if he could give us a ride. In Incident two, we dropped off the car, and everything was checked off of being good. Two and half weeks later, I see a transaction from this agency for $245 and when I emailed to ask for the reason , they said it was because I received a parking ticket. #1 I didnt receive a parking ticket all of my parking deeds I paid #2 the agency never send me an invoice of this transaction that included the parking ticket, #3 when I asked to send me a copy of the ticket , I never did. I do not know what kind of scam they are running, but my whole experience with them was negative stars.

      Again, AVOID NU car rentals, you will be very disappointed. I would give them 0 stars , if I could. I rented and prepaid for a Large 4WD vehicle out of ****** and when i went to pick it up, they only had an ultra small Jeep compass (after searching the entire lot for it) and then wouldn't refund any of my prepaid money, after talking to them at the car rental desk and communicating via customer service. I'll never use them again and suggest EVERYONE AVOID them !!

      BEWARE! Avoid at all cost. Don't be fooled by the low price online. Predatory practices and looking to take advantage of travelers. If I could give them zero stars I would. Reserved a vehicle 2 months in advance for a trip to ******. Upon arrival, I was told that the vehicle I reserved (Dodge Durango) was not available and so they agreed to put me in a "comparable" vehicle at no extra cost. I was given a *** X5 which I thought was pretty generous until I reviewed the final total after vehicle turn in. They added an addition $880.00 reservation fee on top of the$480.00 reservation fee I already paid for a "premium" vehicle. Disputed it in person with the manager at the location and through their corporate help service and both told me there is nothing they can do and that I requested the upgrade which is false.

      Wish I could give this business zero stars. Two weeks after my trip, they are manually charging my card an extra $150 for an "error" on their part because something happened when I switched out the car due to an issue beyond my control. I never signed for the amount they said I owed; it was never on any of my paperwork. They were extremely rude on the phone when I challenged their reasoning and just said that it was a balance owed. Ended up disputing it with my credit card company and got it handled. Beware of this company.

      Please avoid NU car rentals, you will be very disappointed.I would give them 0 stars , if I could. I came in contact with this car rental agency thru Hotwire; which I vow to never use again. These online sites should actually investigate the suppliers there using. I paid for a car thru Hotwire, and got NU car rentals. I wasnt aware I would get them, until I paid for the car ,(no refunds). I get to N U to pick up my car and I have ******************** full coverage. They told me their limited liability insurance was *******, so I had to purchase their insurance, for an additional 30 something dollars a day, plus taxes. I was renting a small car, not pulling cargo.This company is a scam, please stay away from them and beware of Hotwire. I should have just went thru a reputable rental agency ( enterprise , budget,etc. I left along with another couple. We both lost our money and had to go thru another agency. Aw, before they told me coverage wasnt good enough, I had 100,000/300,000 coverage through State Farm, they told me I had to email them my declaration page of my insurance. When they took us back to the airport, we were talking to someone else that said they had problems with NU in *******, *******. Scam,ScamScam! Beware of Hotwire too!
