      NU will only hold a reservation for 2 hours. If your plane or baggage is delayed they cancel the reservation and charge anyway. I was charged $35 for not cancelling a reservation when my plane was late. I reserved through ORBITZ and nowhere on anything that I signed did it state there was a charge for no show. No other rental company does this. Stay away.

      BEWARE! Don't be fooled by the low price. Predatory and looking to rip you off. I rented a car at the **************. After a very long day of travel and waiting in line, I quickly read through and initialed the contract on a screen. I was asked if I wanted to toll package at $12/day. I said no, since I would only be using the car to get to my parents in ******* and back and could avoid the toll roads and didn't want to pay an additional $84 to cover what would have been $7.95 in tolls each way. I meant to take an extra **** minutes and avoid the toll road, but then in my weariness I followed my GPS directions onto the toll road. Once on, there wasn't much I could do. N Car Rentals charged me a $30 processing fee for each of a $4.80, $2.90 and $1.25 tolls incurred. So $90 in fees for $7.95 in tolls! I wrote to them and complained and they said I had initialed the contract and so was liable for the fees. What a rip-off! I checked with my credit card company, but they said they couldn't do anything help.

      Omg!! I Booked a car on there website for my trip to ******* *******..When arriving at the airport in ******* the shuttle to me to Routes car rental..when getting there it was so wrong for them to do this to me.. They ask me for my debit card and ID I gave it to her ****** she said to me that there was no money on the card but I had already book before going to *******..why was I paying again well I was there for a couple of hours..I booked with them for 6 days Dates: 11/20/22-11/26/22 with there insurance applied to it!..The lady that I spoke with(******) told me to call spirit flights and let them know you cancelled and you wish a refund on my rentalRoutes had me there stranded didnt know how I was going to get to where I was going!! For my whole time I was there I never got the rental plus they kept my money and insurance!! I called car rental about my rental they said to me I will not get refunded, because I never cancelled with in 6days prior IM SO ANGRY!!!! But guess what Im not done with them they will be hearing from my lawyer!!How are they getting by with doing people this way but if I cant get help from someone on here to help THEY WILL DEFINITELY HEAR FROM MY LAWYERS ALL I WANTED WAS MY REFUND THE ARE GETTING AWAY WITH STEALING OTHER PEOPLE THINGS!!!!!!!But I will get ACTION GOING ON!!!They was a older lady could barely stand her and her daughter and it Sad how they did the elderly lady and her daughter BUT PLEASE SOMETHING REALLY HAVE TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS NO LIFE PEOPLE THEY ARE TAKING PEOPLES MONEY THEY REALLY NEED TO BE PUT IN JAIL!!!! They are Rotten and Devilish I can see doing this to younger but when it comes to the Elderly??They need to be jailed when Im finish with this company I promise it will never happen again I WANT MY REFUND BACK!!!!!!!

      his company has awful customer service. When I booked my rental car through Hotels.com, I was re-directed to a 3rd party site, Car Trawler. I booked the car in my husbands name and used my credit card to pay for the car (like I have done countless other times with several other car rental companies). When we arrived at the ************************ desk, I was shocked at the condition of the building. It was filthy and falling apart. The agents present seemed miserable and were extremely rude. We stood in line for almost an hour. they refused to release the car I had paid for because my husband had a debit card, not a credit card. They refused to accept a debit card for the security deposit. They also refused to help me rebook and I was treated very rudely and poorly since I booked with a third party company. They left me completely stranded on Thanksgiving day. I had a road trip planned, with hotels already booked and paid for and I desperately needed a car. After a couple emails with Car Trawler "customer support", they refused to refund any of my money. Credit cards and debit cards are basically used interchangeably. We have used a debit card to rent cars from at least 3 other companies this year. ****** learned: Do not book with NU Rentals, and do not book rentals using a 3rd party site.

      Dishonest and not worth the savings. Lied straight to my face about not having the car I ordered. After and hour of waiting in line walked out into park lot and counter 11 of the cars they said they didnt have. Asked about it and they said they werent available. Do not used this company.

      NU offices closed at 4:00 with no customer service after hrs. We were unable to pick up our car at 4:15!!! This information would have been helpful during the reservation process..

      I booked my reservation through Priceline, big mistake. The confirmation email did not provide the correct information. I asked inside the airport where to find the the ** "shuttle service", they did not know the company and said I should call them for shuttle location. The phone number provided only had an outgoing message that says to leave a message or email. No way to talk to a representative. The email said they were located in the Sixt Car Rental location so it was advised I take the shuttle there. No ** signs anywhere, went to Sixt location, they had no idea. They send me to the shuttle buses for rental companies off site, again, their name was not listed and the shuttle driver had no idea who they were. So I shuttled back to the airport to grab a taxi (for $25) in hopes that the address was correct. Thank goodness it was but it was not located in the Sixt rental place, it was called Zengo. Although, I listed my rental time ending at 6pm, they said that it was outside the 24 hour window and wanted to charge me twice the daily rate I paid for an additional 2 hours! I said no way, they needed to honor *********'s quote and they conceded. Horrible experience and anxiety for an hour trying to figure how to find their location. The representative that assisted me was friendly and the care was fine.

      Agree attorney general please investigate. My flight was cancelled due to a hurricane. I can't get through on their email and have called over 20 times. Usually disconnected! Now telling me to contact Ireland and they can't tell me how to reach the company that has my money. Out $600 and angry that I booked through Alaska Airlines and they won't help.

      This is my experience with the ****** location. To summarize: Stay away!During the pick up, the clerk told me about the "prepaid fuel" option, told me that I could return the car without refueling, and how cheap their fuel was. I was planning to refuel before returning the car as always so I refused, she still checked the consent box without me noticing. I signed the contract without knowing. I refueled the car and returned it with a full tank , but they still charged me for the full tank of gas. This is a scam.I called them to ask about this charge, the staff kept telling me that "you signed the contract", "it is an legal contract so the charge will stay" , "you should have read the contract before you signed", "if you were buying a house would you not read the contract", I could not communicate with her so asked for her manager, she said she did not have one and hang up on me! Extremely rude. I regret that I didn't read the reviews before I rented with them. It was the worst car rental experience I have ever had. 1 star is still too high for this business.

      Beware this is a scam run by theives business practices illegal. ************* attorney general please investigate.
