      They forced me to get the car insurance and said I would get reimbursed when I brought the car back but i did not. I was supposed to get charged 277 but was charged 825 for the car rental. They baited and switched the price. And did not disclose any fees they charged. They are absolutely awful! Dont ever use them!

      Rented Jeep Gladiator from them in ******, ** 10/10/2024 - 10/13/2024 Bait and switch business Booked and prepaid with Travel One for $300. (more on that later)15 minute wait for shuttle 15 minute ride from airport 20 minute wait in line at rental office Deceiving practices at the counter, given one price online, and another at the counter, tricked into add-ons. $387 worth by the time it was done!Car had a cracked windshield

      THE WORST CAR RENTAL COMPANY EVER ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH. HIDDEN FEES AND BULLYING TO TAKE ON ADDITIONAL INSURANCE OR YOU CAN NOT GET YOUR CAR. TWO HOURS TO GET THE CAR AND THE WORST CHECK IN PROCESS. NEVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. I WILL BE FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB. I WILL ALSO DISPUTING THE RENTAL FEES.

      Terrible service. Bad location. Contract is put together very deceptively. Where you would normally initial to decline additional charges and coverages, the small print actually says that you are accepting some of them; and of course they are the ones that cost a lot more. Very underhanded. Stick with the big car rental companies!!!

      A most unpleasant car rental company I had the misfortune of renting a car through N Car Rentals. The rental location was in ********* ** (17 Oct 2024 - 21 Oct 2024). From the moment, I walked into their office, their lack of training and professionalism hit me like a freight train. Instead of greeting me, I was told to wait outside and we'll call you in. I got in line, and several other customers arrived after I did, and they also waited in the line. After a few minutes one of the two staff members called for the next customer. I walked in and the lady behind me also walked in. I was told to have a seat over in the chair which wasn't in front of that N staff member. He directed the lady behind me to have a seat at his workstation. He then asked her about her reservation. If this was 1933 *********** or *******, this was just how black people were treated.The other staff member came in and proceeded to assist me. I gave my license and credit card, and then was told I WOULD HAVE TO PURCHASE THEIR GAP COVERAGE INSURANCE, THAT IT WAS REQUIRED. I had purchased additional insurance through ******* (the third party that I booked with). But, I was told that *******'s insurance had nothing to do with N Car Rentals insurance requirements.I should have simply left at that point, but going to another car rental agency would have eaten into my already limited time.I paid for the rental, the staff member asked if the ****** Juke was okay for me, I said no, that I preferred the ****** Rouge. I was given the key. I asked about the walk around, the staff member didn't bother to get up and do a walk around with me, he said he already took the walk around photos. Mind you, just moments earlier, he offered a different car.I strongly recommend that you avoid N Car Rentals in ************

      Do not and I strongly say do not rent from here by all means. Hiddens fees $1000 deposit but if you pay an extra $40 you can pay $350 deposit. No one in office except people who work on the cars. The reps are from ***** you put you license and card under a little camera and they record your info to scam you. My car western union someone $400 and I never used this car but I used it at this rental place. I'm telling you stay away or enter at your own risk. Big time scammers and crooks.

      I purchased a rental Oct 5-9 through ******* and paid 324.33$. I picked up the car and the customer service **** *******, told me we needed to add on 300$ for a deposit and that I needed to initial regarding the insurance (there were no amounts listed, just a brief description with a box for initials). I asked if this was included in the price and he said yes, however he did not say that the 741$ I was authorizing was in addition to the amount I already paid! He said I would get the 300$ back which was true but I was made to believe that the 417$ left was just taxes/fuel. I checked my credit card and both of those charges went through. Speaking with CS, I was told that I purchased a bunch of add-ons, hence the insurance I was told was already included. Nu Car Rental should be shut down!!!! They clearly mislead and charge more than what should be charged. Clearly this is evident with all of the negative reviews that they have. Please do not use them!!!!!!

      This car company is not only a scam but dangerous because of the fact that you walk into an unmanned building and deal with unscrupulous people coming from a computer who try to upsell you from the get go. I was the I only one in this isolated former bank building and this place was far away from the airport. It felt like a pop up with only a few cars parked in the lot. No one in person inside or outside with the three cars to offer! The shuttle just took off the minute I stepped inside and when I went outside to ask a question the shuttle had disappeared! I immediately felt unsafe, alone and completely taken advantage of. The person that appears in a computer was rude and disconnected. As you are left in an unmanned building with no way to get back to the airport except for calling a taxi or **** I was left to being scammed with upselling on insurance, tolls and what not. I tried to cancel my reservation but was told this was impossible and to deal with the third party company I made the reservations through. I left, walked to a restaurant and had to call my bank to cancel the reservation. I then went to call an **** for the airport to struggle and find another alternative. This company is a ****!

      I was very ***** to rent a v Car through Priceline for a car rental *** I never heard of. It was a very good experience. The shuttle service driver was great! The only thing was everything was done through a computer once I arrived at the off site location. I'm glad I read every piece of material before I got to the site, I not only needed my proof of insurance cards but also needed the declaration page of my policy. I had to leave a security deposit higher than normal but I was ok with that as long as I did get it back once I brought the car back. Everything did go great and I was extremely impressed.

      This company should be shut down for deceptive business practices. We rented an SUV for 10 days in ********. We rented through Priceline and the "guaranteed" price was supposed to be $560. When we got to the airport, they said they didn't have any of the SUV's we had reserved, and we would have to pay for a larger one, unless we wanted to wait a couple of hours for the larger one to arrive. Also the usual gauntlet of upsell insurance, toll road coverage, damage insurance, yada yada. Ridiculous and annoying. By the time we returned the car, we had a bill of $1100 !! Plus a $99 "surplus charge" without an explanation. When we complained, first the 'customer service **** was not available, then never called us back. When we called again, we were told that it was Priceline's fault, not Nu Car Rental. We called Priceline, who called baloney on that explanation. Round and Round and no solution. NEVER AGAIN!
