I ordered a replacement for a defective Guardian Sensor online. Never heard back from Medtronic. Called to see if the order was ever shipped. I waited more than 35 minutes, before I called Medtronic back and requested a callback. Waited 1 1/2 hours and never got a call. Called back and waited another 30 minutes. When I finally spoke to an agent, I was not only told that it hadn't been sent, but that Medtronic didn't even have any Guardian sensors in stock. They were on back order. Really? I was told by my sensor supplier that replacements can only come from Medtronic.I'm still waiting,***************************

This company created an order without my permission - and after I explicitly asked for any existing order(s), any future order(s), and for any automatic reoccurring orders to all be canceled. I received confirmation from them that they *had* - not would, but had - done that, and that I would not be receiving anything from them without me affirmatively reaching out to them to order supplies in the future. Now if this was any other company this would be annoying, but let's dive into how this backward behavior is actively dangerous and how they are then putting profits over people's lives in a very real way. They shipped HALF of the pump supplies (not 50% the quantity, as in 1 part of a 2-part system that cannot be used alone). Maybe double-check that's what the patient actually needs considering from your perspective they don't have the other half of the system? Maybe check their profile, or, if there are no notes from them making this order, give them a call? They called me before my orders have been shipped in the past to confirm, but they sure didn't this time. The last time I talked with them about it, they said they would always call before processing an order. They billed my insurance. I did not notify them in writing that my assignment of benefits was terminated or anything, but I told them no more orders, and they confirmed that... As far as I am concerned, they did not have my permission to bill my insurance. This claim will - naturally - keep me from getting pump supplies for 30 days (the duration they reported to my insurance I would have supplies for), which means, ding ding ding, I cannot get my actual pump supplies.. You know.. Just the ones I need to STAY ALIVE!!When I called, they refused to drop the claim with my insurance until AFTER they received back the package that I DIDN'T ORDER!I review them online 6 days ago, and today they reported it "because they don't think it's based on a genuine experience"What a joke... I had just called them.

Medtronic diabetes products are good but there customer service department is the worst ever dealt with. Every six months getting them to approve a new shipment is impossible. It's always someone else fault with them even when you have your Dr and insurance on the phone trying to fix there mistakes they blame it on someone else.

The Medtronic 770G has worked very well for me, however they have been out of sensors for my CGM for months, and they don't seem to care. There appears to be no one at Medtronic who takes responsibility for anything. Their reps are friendly and polite, but don't produce results, just excuses. Unfortunately, I am stuck with their product. The pump is too expensive to replace and there is nowhere else to get needed supplies. I would advise looking at other companies if one is considering an insulin pump system. As long as things go well they go very well, but if there is a problem they won't provide anything but excuses.

Nothing but problems every time you have to talk to them. After following the whole order process to upgrade my pump for use with the new guardian 4 sensor, waiting a month to receive the new sensor, completing the required training, attempting 3 times to do the upgrade, spending over an hour on the phone with tech support, and now they tell me, in the 11th hour, that I cant upgrade my pump because it is out of warranty?!? How could they not have known that at the beginning of the process? This is just one of numerous examples that prove they are a horribly run company. I am a type 1 diabetic, my life depends on them. They need to get it together.

I have placed 2 orders so far from MedTronics so far, and they continue to proved to be the worst company I have done business with. They take over a month to complete an order due to their inefficient process and not due to customer. They keep on making same mistakes over and over again. After that they keep on making wrong claims to insurance repeatedly even after I had insurance company call them to explain how to place the claim for providing customer 100% coverage. They have by now spend 2 months of my time for billing issues and I just got frustrated and just paid the final bill they send which I should not be paying. Their customer service ***** and never understand the issue and escalation managers are not responsive at all. They keep on blaming insurance company but not accepting their own mistakes. When I send last message the reason I decided not to use their service, their response was to remove the name from future orders. This shows they really don't care.I finally decided to buy the same medical supplies from another company and they completed my order within a week for same supplies and also claimed insurance correctly within 2 weeks. I had to make only 2 calls. So, this proves it's not customer or insurance company to be blamed here but it's Medtronics. I strongly suggest to look for another supplier.

It wouldn't allow me to pic a 0......I have used Medtronic over the years and haven't had many complaints until now. I currently accepted the upgrade to the 780G system and it has been a nightmare. The new upgrade uses a different sensor transmitter(guardian sensor 4) than the current guardian sensor 3. I currently have no supplies because I was told to wait until the new transmitter is released which was the end of June. I called to get an update, and was told they aren't aware when it would be mailed because there is a issue with the upgrade. I decided at this point I was not willing to wait any longer for supplies as it has been almost a month that I didn't have any. I asked if I order my normal supplies and the new transmitter was mailed would I be able to exchange the old supplies for the new ones. I was told several time this can not be done and I was encouraged to order one box and pay out of pocket instead of using insurance. I asked to speak with a manager and to see if this could be overridden or if they could just send me the Guardian Sensor 4 , so that when I received the new sensor I would have it. They denied my request, I feel this is making it hard for customer. These supplies aren't cheap! **********************'s is not willing to assist the customer due to their error. I just want this to me made right!

I've been on Medtronic pumps for over ************************************************************************************ to have excellent control of my blood glucose.I once had a pump break (accidentally dropped it) on a Friday evening. I figured I wouldn't have a replacement until Monday. But my replacement arrived at 10 AM the next morning and I live in a rural community! By simply setting up my supplies on an auto-order, I've never had an incident where my supplies arrived late.

If I could give 0 stars I would. As I'm sure everyone else here has said, I'm a type 1 diabetic and my insulin supplies literally keep me alive! They never get my supplies to me on time and they consistently lose my orders and leave me without being able to take care of myself. This final time is simply my test strips to track my blood glucose. They called me, I paid what I owed and now the order is nonexistent. If I could go somewhere else I would but my insurance doesn't cover any other company. Someone needs to kick their A**es and get their systems in order! They are putting thousand lives in jeopardy!! I'm surprised they haven't killed someone yet.

I have been on insulin pump therapy for over 20 years, I am in the last year with my 770G and all I can say is I cant wait until I am due for a new pump. This pump is the worst product I have ever used and Medtronic minimed doesnt care, the sensors do not last a week as described. They have changed the warranty for the transmitter to 1 Year, I think so they can blame the transmitter and make you purchase another one. Their call center has been outsourced and is terrible, they just want to to change the sensor and they will send you a new one which fails. Now the latest thing the are blaming acetaminophen as a cause for fault. Take my advice and go with another brand, it cant be worse then the 770G.
