      Worst place ever I lost most of my vision because they gave me cheap contacts after I told them I want the same brand Ive been using for 15 yrs. You cant never get an email or a hold of a higher manager. According to them they have a manager name ******************* who is no where to be found. After calling cooperate so many times he gave his personal number to text him. Took him 2.5 months to get me my real contacts. Ignored all my messages. I was screaming at people that shouldnt be screamed at because of the unprofessionalism of this manager. I will be filing a lawsuit here after 4 months since ********** been working with an eye specialists that the hospital recommended me to see, Im going through treatments and of course I get told *** lost most of my eye sight drastically because the contacts they gave me I got an ulcer on my left eye from it. You could never get anyone to answer you. I filed a claim with my bank because I wasnt receiving my contacts. I was looking for a place near by where I moved and of course I found the worst. I called the store if they dont get my contacts or my money back I will show up with cops because they are technically stealing from me. As other reviews say they still your money. Please dont go here. Your eye sight is the most precious thing to see the world. Im only 34 with 2 kids to be going through this horrible experience. Im so stressed out from it. No one has apologized or called me till this day since august. So unprofessional.

      Doctor ordered incorrect prescription multiple times. New lenses were attempted to be corrected 5 times and I was still unable to see our of the new glasses. Requested a refund which was processed but I have not received the refund even though it's been more than 30 days.

      Lenses started to become cloudy in the periphery. Progressive over one year. ***** at office seemed disinterested and said there was nothing she could do. This was the second pair of glasses I Had purchased.. Never again!!!!

      The doctor I scheduled my eye exam with was not there on the date that I picked two weeks earlier. They could have notified me and I would have re-scheduled for when he was back. The fill in doctor had no knowledge of the contact lenses she prescribes and set me up with contact lenses that nobody carries; not ***************** or any other online retailer. E-mailing customer service got me nothing more than a canned response and no updated prescription I can actually use. I now have to pay for another eye exam with a competent eye doctor who knows the products they prescribe.

      My experience with Visionworks, ******, ** has been terrible. Started Sept 15, 2022, I went in to order glasses and sunglasses as they accept my insurance coverage, suppose to take 7 to 10 days. After 2 weeks I called customer service to check on my order, on hold for 45 minutes, it keep telling me to check their website. After checking the website they couldnt find my order, I called customer service again, on hold for another 45 minutes, they cant find my order. Mind you I paid for 2 pairs of glasses on Sept 15, 2022. The next day I go to the store to see what happened to my order, they cant find it either. I guess it got lost with a system conversion. Because of the lost order and having to reorder, they said I would get half of my money refunded, in about 10 days. Ok, reorder wait another 2 weeks, no glasses. Finally I get a text my glasses are in, go to the store, yes my glasses are in but The lenses are wrong. Well reorder. Ok. Another ******************************************* It turns out only 1 pair of glasses were in, they will check on my sunglasses. I continued to call the phone number they say is the direct line to the local store, no one answers the phone. Call automatically goes to the customer service center, they have no answers just tell me they will get a message to the store to call me. Crickets, surprise no phone call. Still waiting for my sunglasses. Now today 10/28/2022 I get a text my order is in. I go to the store and yes my order is in however they re-did my glasses instead of ordering my sunglasses. So today, were so sorry, we will get them re-ordered, again. If it wasnt so sad and frustrating it would almost be funny. My advise, do not go to Visionworks

      I made an appointment online for an eye exam. I received confirmation of the exam and filled in the patient forms online. I was on my way to the exam when I received a voicemail which informed me that the eye exam would be a tele exam. I am hard of hearing and tele exams just do not work for me. I explained to the receptionist that the website for online appointments is very extensive and I was surprised that it did not have an option for in person eye exams. She said "yes, they should have, shouldn't they?" I am leaving for an extended trip and would really have like to have my test and eye glasses ready. I feel that this is a deliberate policy of Visionworks, as I believe they think they will not get so many patients if they realize it is a tele exam.

      I had an eye exam that was performed improperly and the eye glasses were entirely too strong of a prescription to use. I only need readers. I don't have a complicated vision issue. I returned the glasses and they said they issued a refund. It has been 2 months and still no refund. I have spoken with the local manager and she assured my that the 'check' will be mailed and I should receive it in 2 weeks. They claim that they also reversed the charges for the exam and so that I can go to another retailer to have my vision checked out. I am on a medication that could potentially hurt my vision and I really need a reliable ophthalmologist that can perform an accurate vision test to track my vision over time and that never happened. This company needs to do better!!!I spoke to corporate about this several times and they reassured me that the eye exam was reinstated and a check will be mailed but they cannot trace how long it would take. One time they say it will take 2 weeks, another time they say within 6 weeks. This isn't my first issue with the company and I am frustrated with the fact that I had these issues to begin with and now they keep making up excuses and nothing is getting resolved. I will never do business with the company ever again.

      My husband purchased 2 pair of eyeglasses about 7 months ago. Have made trips to ******* ********* location at least 7 times for adjustments. Glasses very cheaply made, poor quality lens. Wasted almost $800.00. Went to America's Best and purchased one pair. High quality product and less expensive than Visionworks. A rating of one star is too much.

      I brought my daughter in to get her eyeglass prescription filled, and we had a great experience at the ****************** location. They don't call you to let you know your prescription is in but it happens everywhere. I called and it was an easy automated system to check the status of your order. they did the best they can being they were short staffed. They did everything right and gave us all the information we needed unlike ******************. Prices were reasonable and she got a great pair of glasses that she loves. Large selection of styles too.

      I had my eyes checked for new glasses at a Visionworks location after checking with them to make sure they were covered by my insurance plan. I was assured that I was good to go. The people involved in the exam, frame selection, and order placement were professional and efficient. When I paid, they pointed out that the charge reflected the discount due to my insurance coverage, so I was good to go--until I wasn't. On the day I expected to get the glasses, I instead got a notice that my coverage was denied because Visionworks was in fact NOT covered by my insurance. After spending a lot of time on the phone and even more time at the Visionworks location to resolve the situation, I got a full refund, but it made me wonder about their business practices. It seems like they just blithely assure every customer that their insurance is good, and then deal with it when it blows up. Maybe it works for them because enough customers just pay the price, but even those who don't still pay with the time lost in dealing with the hassle of getting a refund, along with having to go through the bother of getting glasses somewhere else. If it's not a deliberate part of their business model, then their business still reflects some pretty poor management of insurance processing.
