Worst company ever please run far away. They are nothing but a scam. The tell you one thing just to sting you along as far as possible.
I was charged for a home owner policy for a home I did even get. They stress you out about need more information over and over but the moment you give up and ask for you money back they miraculously fix the issue.
It’s so much that I went through I can’t even put it all in here. Just don’t do it NO MATTER HOW GOOD IT MAY LOOK
I WOULDNT even recommend this company to my worst enemy. This is nothing but a professional scam company.LGI Homes

Worst experience ever buying a home. You get this red carpet treatment which was a waste of time, then you get qualified before you can even see a property. Everything is rushed so fast you can't even think. Then when you back out, you lose your 1,000. I wish I would have read all of the complaints before I even went there. The bigger mistake would have been to continue with the overall purchase. Just be careful before you go. We had to learn the hard way.LGI Homes

I love my LGI Home. I purchased in May and have not had to file any warranty claims. I did my new home owner orientation and all concerns were addressed at that time and since taken care of!LGI Homes

We moved into our brand new home March 31, 2022. We’ve had many issues and continue to do so. The craftsman ship is beyond horrible. We’ve had three customer service reps that we have worked with in less than 18 months. The turn over rate is high. They never fully fix most problems, as they just cover it up. We feel uneasy at our house. I should have listened to the research before we purchased. Do your research.LGI Homes

Hi Anna, we take pride in our quality construction and are disappointed to hear that you have experienced issues with your home. We know that items can come up after closing, which is why we offer a one-year workmanship warranty. We are glad to hear that you have been working with our warranty team to address your concerns. It is our standard practice to have the homeowner sign off that they are satisfied with the work done when it is complete, so if you feel something hasn't been addressed properly you are welcome to discuss it with our team.Review fromJoseph W

I’m sick and tired of waiting for my warranty work to be done .. this is ridiculous! The warranty office doesn’t follow up with their work orders I have things in the house consistently breaking and not getting the attention it deserves ! My floors are ruined because of a leaking AC I have went to thee office multiple times and they ignore it I really want to sell this joke but before I do I am not only going to sue lgi I will be starting a class action law suit this is ridiculous!
Do not BUY a LGI home there low quality everything breaks and they ignore warranty workLGI Homes

Hi Mr. ****, we see in our system that we have addressed completed one of your recent tickets and the other is currently being addressed by the team. We understand it is frustrating when unexpected issues arise, but we are proud to offer a one-year workmanship warranty that helps address these unexpected problems.Review fromGodlove N

If I could give a zero, I would. The same reasons we were approved for the loan conditionally are the same reasons they use to disqualify us. Which doesn't make sense. They wasted our time, money and energy. Moreover, they did not even have the decency to tell us why the loan did not go through and we had to call, text, and email to find out. I am not sure if we were denied because of our race ( AA). They have set us back, I wish we had seen their non-transparency from the beginning. We wouldn't have even started the process. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless they take the necessary steps to make effective changes. I would have to review on different platforms just to keeps others aware of what this messy company is all about before the customers decide to unnecessarily spent their time, money and energy.LGI Homes

Hi Godlove, while our sales team prequalifies you based on the pre-qualification worksheet you fill out at the time of your tour, your mortgage company ultimately determines your homebuying financial qualification status and we do not have any role in that final approval process. We are sorry to hear that your loan officer did not clearly communicate that you were not approved for financing and understand how frustrating that situation would be.Review fromDustin W

Where do I Begin? I closed on this house about two weeks ago and I have already filed three warranty complaints. The craftsmanship and attention to detail of this home sucks beyond all the belief. I have tons of pictures that I would love to post, but I can’t figure out how to do it. On top of all this, there’s subcontractor who put in the sprinkling system spoke with me in person and told me it had not passed inspection so now I am addressing that situation. As of right now I am doing all the minor touchups with the painting, holes in the walls, paint on the floor, etc. etc. It seems to me all they want to do is throw up the house as fast as I can sell it to you and then wash their hands of the house. If I were you before you buy an LGI Homes, I would definitely do your research.LGI Homes

JUST WOW!! All I can say is I wish I had come here to see these reviews before buying with LGI. Everything said in other comments are my exact experience with this builder. I was told by our salesman, Rich ******* that he would take care of calling the gas company to have the gas marker directly in our front yard lowered or relocated. He made it sound as simple as 1,2,3.
Pryor to us closing on the home we talked to Rich at lease 2-3 times per week. After closing, I tried many times trying to connect with Rich with no response. I then had to contact Rick Hinebaugh, sales manager. We had a meeting in regard to the gas marker. It wasn't until then I learned that the gas company will not accommodate the request. Now I also know why Rich cut the communication. This man stated that he called the gas company and learned of the news months after we closed but failed to tell us. Why? He knew we would be upset as we stressed our concern, and he reassured us it would all be taken care of. As of 8/3/23 he is denying these accusations. The Regional Manager Stan Plank tells me he's sorry. He to never kept communication. It wasn't until I wrote an email did, I get his attention. No accountability. No Compensation. Nothing!! Christian Grosh, Customer Service Rep brought me a $100 gift card to camouflage the gas marker. I have video recording of him telling me to purchase a flowerpot that he would cut a hole in the bottom to put over the marker and fill with dirt. This is illegal and would have left me in validation with gas company. How malice is this! This marker being directly in my front yard is an eye sore and may affect resale. It is my belief that this is something that should have been disclosed to the homeowner especially after we expressed our concern. LGI HOMES are ripping customers off for their gain and this is NOT OKAY. If I am not compensated. I will be at the sales office everyday warning potential customers.LGI Homes

We purchased our home in March of 2021 in fort worth TX. When we did our pre closing walk through one week befor closing, our builder informed us it wasn't ready for the walk through to keep an open mind, also during this walk through he informed my wife and i that "this house fell through the crack, hopefully you still buy it) we should have walked then but didn't. On the day of closing we were supposed to walk through before signing but they didnt send us all the documents pre closing so instead of a pre walk we had to run to the bank and get more documents for lgi. They talked us out of pre closing walk since we had a one year warranty and not to worry. Our sod was laid dead, when we brought that up we were told to wait six months and it would eventually grow in. Our city cleanout was broken, when we turned in a warranty claim they told us we may have just ran it over. Our trim had fell off our cabinets and we were told that's normal wear and tear so it wasn't covered under warranty. We spent the first 6 months going back and forth with paint and texture contractors trying to get correction done. Now we are getting ready to repaint the home after two years. Our ac unit is undersized for the square footage of the home. The most recent "repair" we are in the process of fixing. The home has zero roof vents installed. We called lgi and were told, since we're out of warranty the recommend calling a specialist to install roof vents. If for some reason you go with LGI homes, make sure to have a home inspection done! They will tell you not to worry because you have a one year warranty and it will be repaired, but then push back every time you turn in warranty. We were young home purchasers and have learned greatly from this experience!LGI Homes

Hi Paul, this is not reflective of the standards we hold ourselves to and we are disappointed to hear about your experience. During the New Homeowner Orientation we do make note of items that need to be addressed and are surprised to hear that this may not have been how your Orientation was conducted. We do also discuss what items are and are not covered by warranty during your Orientation. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us so that we can use this as an opportunity to continue improving.Review fromVivian P

Close on my home September of 2022 and we love our home. We have notice things that need to be repaired and we did get most fixes. Some things don’t set well with us, is how much noise we can hear from the outside. The window seen very thin and I believe we might need to replace our door. Had my first experience with the HOA in a zoom video with some other homeowners. It was control by 1 person in the bunn farms community. Never felt unsure about a leader who was running the zoon. Being mute several time seen rude to me and I am sure other felt the same way. Been in my home almost a year and I am hoping the noise stop, getting some of my repair complete and the HOA will be more about the community then money.LGI Homes

Hi Vivian, we appreciate your feedback about your experience! We are glad to hear that you have had your repairs fixed and addressed. Unfortunately one of the drawbacks to living in a new construction neighborhood is the sound of construction around you, but it will come to an end and we believe that living in your brand-new home has many positives that outweigh this temporary situation.
