      Its June - why am I now leaving a review for a company whose policies I cancelled in January of this year? Because *********************** at Goosehead Westlake never followed instructions from my new ins agent after I changed companies/brokerage.I shopped, found better prices, a responsive broker, and one that does NOT charge extra hidden fees like Goosehead. **** flat out lied and there were no fees; it was later confirmed otherwise. Goosehead does not respond to calls or emails, or act on requests from customers. They only send arbitrary, inaccurate form emailsbasically stalking/harassing now since I severed ties at the beginning of the year. Goosehead agents cannot string together coherent, let alone professional, correspondence for the rare instances they do reply. I asked my new agent to retrieve my partial dues for me since I stopped all interaction with ******************, or anyone else at Gooseheadmassive PITA. I finally received my refunds from Progressive on 6/10 meanwhile, Goosehead continues with email harassment on 6 month old, cancelled policies.Do not waste your time or money with these guys. Nothing but frustration.

      I have full coverage from this company but yet I get into a accident and they can't cover nothing. So they scamed me for the last few months thinking that I was covered and apparently I wasn't. I'm supposed to have full coverage but the way I read it liability have more options in this full coverage that they offer me and then I sadly paid for it. These people are also involved with another company called gooseneck and Farmers Insurance is involved with them too and not want to help me. Go with the general, there more ************** than this this company. Farmers Insurance ought to be ashamed for associating their self with these companies. ** from Farmers the one who's handling my case you should be ashamed too never call me back and letting me know that you're my agent working on my case and you was doing nothing but *********************. This is my experience with Bristol West goosehead Insurance and farmers. I called them, they hung up on me I called company back and they got a Spanish person to answer the phone. I don't know Spanish. Is that how customers should be treated by their insurance company?

      Avoid these people at all costs. Luckily, we pulled the plug and never actually gave our business to Goosehead. Our initial interaction started great, and the agent worked with us to find a really great rate on a condo and auto policy. They were super responsive.However, upon reviewing the final documents, they included a $280 "agency fee". This was equal to about 30% of the premiums. The agent said they mentioned it on our original call, and I believe they did, but I misunderstood, thinking it might be baked into costs. I didn't think agencies like this actually charged their own fees on top of premiums. This fee would have negated any savings we would have received.Once I asked about the fee, the agent did not respond for a week claiming their out-of-office didn't turn on. They said they could remove the fee, but after several days of inaction and several follow-**** we checked the BBB and saw the reviews, and decided to pull the plug.I told the agent I wanted to cancel, and they claimed they were processing it, but it never got processed. Luckily, the customer service on their website was excellent and helped cancel everything for me in just a few minutes. The whole ordeal took 3+ weeks when we were trying to get our policies figured out to finalize our mortgage. Just a miserable and stressful experience.

      Although some reps have tried to help me, Im still going through an issue now because of the rep that set up my policy with State Auto. I opened a LANDLORD policy with State auto (got a rental policy!!) Initially, the Goosehead rep set up the policy in the name of my boyfriend, whom is not the owner of the policy, therefore the policy was no good. We were unable to ever gain access to the login page, even after canceling that policy and putting my name on a new policy, due to not having the correct info shared with us. When my insurance cost went up (no claims & no explanation). I cancelled my policy on 04//11/2023. I was told I would be receiving a refund of $957.**. When I didnt receive it, I called Goosehead (they set up the account for me) and the mailing address was listed as the rental house. and they sent it to my tenant, whom I do not know, nor deal with as they go through a full service management team. I confirmed with my insurance broker that in their system they show mailing and insured rental address as the same address, they reached out to State Auto and they refuse to cancel that check and send me a new check. This was not my error, as Goosehead set everything up via phone and someone should have verified where this was being mailed, (whether that be State Auto or Goosehead). It should be pretty obvious that the address would not be the same as the rental property when you have a landlord policy!!! I made a cash payment towards my escrow and now do not have the refund as promised. They are earning interest on my money while it sits in their account for an additional 30+ days. They then told me that i would need to wait an additional 30+ days and if its forged/cashed Ill have to go through a affidavit process, further tying up my money. This needs to be corrected, the check needs to be canceled and the mailing address for refund checks should be VERIFIED prior to mailing. I see other reviews with the same issue

      This is a horrible company and I would avoid at all costs. They were my insurance agent for my ******* condo. When my policy with UPC was cancelled because UPC no longer wanted to do business in **. I was abandoned by Goosehead with no replacement. They new these cancellations were coming 1 year in advance and made no attempts to find a replacement. On top of that, I called and emailed over a dozen time each and no one responded to me. I switched to a more costly insurance company, but was able to get my replacement in 1 day and make my 30 day window for finding replacement insurance.

      Absolutely the worst, you never talk to a human! Never a call back...had a claim had to fight the whole time... a giant joke! Told them I was going elsewhere when the term expired, set up new coverage then got hounded by them to send the payment for the next term. Texts, phone calls and emails... all wanting premiums! Guess I made the right choice !! If you want to talk to them don't renew they call you then!

      I am due for payment on 7th renewal on the policy. I have called to make payment on 5/3 and was told to HOLD 10 min in order to see if policy is available for renewal and then hung up by employee at Westlake ** office. If you can't have employees capable of reading just chat and pass time how exactly you going to protect my home and give future customer service if needed.

      License #: ******* Nick *******. I called for a quote. This licensed agent was by far the most unprofessional insurance person. I decided not to go with him and he called me three to four weeks later to harass me followed by 5 emails. I asked him in wrIting to stop contacting me yet he continued. I asked him to cease and desist. He keeps emailing. I will be reporting this agent.

      The only thing that was achieved with Goosehead was it satisfied my mortgage requirement. Too many negatives to list. Don't waste your money or time. Pay a little more and get an agency that cares about you, your family and property. If you are in Florida I suggest you to look elsewhere now. Im telling you wholeheartedly that this group is terrible. Listen, I wish I would've.
