      Do not do business with them. Impossible to reach, or get clear answers when you cancel. Coverage is awful if you actually do your research. Once you do cancel you get countless emails from all different agents asking for a docu-sign signature, after you sign the document, you keep getting emails asking to sign a new docu-sign cancellation form. So far I have received 4 cancellation docu-signs, the same exact form with different agents names all different. When I do get someone on the phone to get clarification and verify it was cancelled the customer assistant agent says there is no docusign saved in my profile. Just stay away

      I got quotes from Goosehead Insurance for a new property I am buying. They sent the information to my lender saying I would be using them when I gave them no indication I would be moving forward. Keep in mind I never even gave them my lenders information, so I have no idea how they did this. I had already chosen another company to go with based on better pricing but after that I would never in a million years do business with a company that's so shady. This is so unprofessional, I am truly in shock!!

      Abysmal service. I have been trying to get a hold pf them for weeks to no avail. Needless to restate the prior reviewers, once they have your dollar they ignore you. Shameful company.

      Stay away. Goosehead Insurance Agency documented the *wrong phone number* to contact me on my Homeowner Insurance policy application. For a month I repeatedly tried to correct their error with the Goosehead agency. In the meantime, the policy carrier slapped a cancellation notice on my HO policy because they could not reach me at the *wrong* phone number to schedule an inspection of my home. After that debacle was resolved, an inspector came and measured my house larger than it actually is which resulted in a reinstated policy that was $200 more than the original policy I took out 2 months prior. If you do not want this kind of aggravation in your life, do not choose a Goosehead Insurance Agency.

      I've been a Goosehead customer for 8 years. For the first couple of years, they were great. I even had my agents cell phone number and could reach her any time. This is no longer the case. When you call for an agent, you're put in que for a callback. I placed this call 2 days ago and still haven't received a callback.I also recently learned that the homeowners policy they have me on is nearly 50% higher than what other, better known providers are offering. And they say they shop for the best deals every year for you. Obviously not.I've already switched most of my policies on my own, and, provided I ever get a callback, I'm going to cut ties with Goosehead completely.

      Bad Choice: Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC Most incompetent insurance agency. Once they have your money good luck getting a human on the phone. Poor customer service. Unable to do a simple process of cancellation, I rate them as a O they don't deserve a star.

      Lie and treat customers like trash after they have your money. Partnering with customer support for SIX WEEKS to shop policies only to be ignored and then when asked your representative is on leave NO COMMUNICATION or support so we had to start the entire process over. After all of that the new representative says theres nothing more I can do for you Absolutely disgusting. Will be cancelling all policies today.

      it might be too early to leave a review, but after one year i had a slight hiccup in my coverage. I called Goosehead and got on the phone with ***********************. **************** has been the absolute image of customer service. He alone will be the reason i stick around and I hope everybody can take something from how this dude conveys sincerity. 10/10 *****, you are a super star.

      Goosehead insurance was good for one thing: searching for a great deal for me so that I wouldn't have to find a home owner's policy myself. Once they sold me and got me "in the door", the service has been almost nonexistent. As my agent, I thought they would deal with the renewal of my policy and all that, but they didn't. I actually had to get involved and do all the legwork with my insurance company and, since I didn't know, I almost missed the deadline. They didn't even tell me! On top of that, my insurance company ended up telling me that they had my mailing address listed as my old address and mail was being returned. Goosehead didn't even do that! So then I tried to contact my insurance company to change my address directly with them and I couldn't because I have an agent. So I had to contact Goosehead, but they don't have a publicly available phone number that one can call on their website. So I had to submit a request to chat and wait forever to get on the phone with someone. They seem to only care about making the sale, after that, I feel that I've been treated like a burden... or a piece of garbage. After this experience I'll be looking for a different way to handle my insurance.

      I worked with an agent to get home and auto insurance for a new home. Luckily I dawdled at cancelling the old one, as shortly after securing auto insurance with Progressive through Goosehead, I receive a notice that I didn't qualify for the rates the Gooosehead agent quoted and I paid. The reasons given were things like having too many store credit cards. The advice from the source of this review was "less cards would be better." Nevermind that all carry a zero balance like my other cards, that I had just paid cash for my new home, and that my credit rating was Excellent - my rates were being raised. Talk about a scam! I tried to cancel on my own, but if you go through a broker, they have to initiate the cancellation. I called my Goosehead agent multiple times, left messages every time, and for several weeks heard nothing. When she did finally return my calls, I informed her that based on this dishonesty on her part, I wanted both home and auto cancelled (home was not with Progressive). Her excuse for not calling was that she'd been in training for a new position and didn't have access to her old voice mails. Great business practice, that. She assured me she would take care of the cancellations. Of course she didn't, because I learned 6 weeks later that Progressive required me to prove I had auto insurance elsewhere in order to backdate the refund to the date of the original request - the agent couldn't "take care of it" without this proof from me. I was lied to several times during this process and after sending the document Progressive demanded (a whole other compaint) today, the clock is ticking to see if there is a refund this time. If not, my next entry on the BBB website will be a case against Goosehead to get my refund.
