5 starsAfter being an AllState customer for over 10 years, I started shopping for new coverage when my auto policy increased almost 40%. My daughter gave me a business card from a Goosehead agent she received at a networking event. I was hesitant to contact Goosehead based on the customer review rating and some of the reviews but I decided to give the agent call. She was wonderful! Polite, professional, thorough and within an hour she found coverage that cost substantially less with the exact same coverage. She clearly explained the process of transitioning to new coverage, including my responsibilities, i.e., calling my current insurance to cancel, etc...I will highly recommend her and Goosehead to friends and family.Review fromOlaide O

1 starI have been charged twice for policies that I have cancelled more than 3 times only for Mercury to say they never got a cancelation request. I have been on this for over 3 weeks with each agent always sending a new cancelation request. This is really poor service.Review fromDayong S

I am a mortgage broker and I have been trying to get a revised mortgagee clause for an existing insurance policy for my client. It has been more than a week and there has been NONE update even after numerous calls and emails. Every time my client or I contacted GooseHead, we were transferred to a new CSR who is in charge of our case. We together have talked to like 10 different CSRs. Is GooseHead closing its business?

Goosehead stole money, never gave a policy!!! I bought a house, spoke with ***********************, a Goosehead agent, who set up the policy. The mortgage company sent Goosehead the check. 2 months later, I was informed that the policy was cancelled for non-payment. I called the carrier, they never received the check. I called the title company, they had proof that it was sent the following day AND cleared a week later. Someone cashed the check, but I was never given insurance. Now I'm out $2,600+. Every time I call the customer service number, they bounce me around to different associates. No one has an answer. There are no other numbers to call. They even say don't email them. The agent is avoiding my calls. This has to be fraud! Filing a police report next. DO NOT use Goosehead!!! They don't provide insurance. They take money and leave you hanging. No accountability. Hopefully, the cops will help at some point,Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC

I first came to Goosehead *** ***************** about a year ago & it all started fine at first. I was working with ***************************** in getting my policies issued & she was quick to call me back when ever I had questions. The problem happened when I needed to convert a builders policy into a renters policy in December 2023. I called ****** & left messages but didn't receive a call back. I also called the office# for them to give her a message that it was urgent for me to speak with her. I then got a call from ***************************** stating that ****** had asked him to give me a call to assist me with what I needed. I asked him to cancel the builders policy & issue a renters *********** all seemed to have gone well except when I found out that the renters policy was never canceled. I also found out that ****** had issued 2 renters policy for the same property, each with it's own separate effective date. I have called many times & have left messages along with emails for both *************** just trying to get this resolved and I'm still waiting. I have already signed the cancellation docu sign form the asked for & they still haven't refunded me back my money for the 2 months of premium they took for failure to cancel the builders policy. Besides **************** I have spoken/emailed ************* & most rececently I spoke with ****** who said he was looking into this & would call me back on Friday 4/26/24. But of course I never got that call back from him so I got tired of waiting and I have now filed a complaint with the **************** of Insurance asking for help with this situation and hopefully they can assist me with getting Goosehead to own up to their mistake and make it right. I will NEVER recommend Goosehead *** to anybody, SO BUYER BEWARE!!!Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC

Do not use Goosehead. **************** and agents are horrible. Non responsive and will not take accountability for their errors. I was placed with Mercury on 5/27/23, two weeks later in June 2023 Mercury sent Goosehead a letter (and did not copy me) on their assessment of my home and that my roof was in unacceptable condition due to five lifting shingles. Forward to March 2024 Mercury placed me as non renewal due to not providing proof of new roof replacement. Goosehead admits that they messed up not alerting me of the issue. They told me to call out a roofing company that they highly recommended, Titan Pro's. Titan Pro's came out and said I have hail damage and to file a claim. I did and ******* rejected the claim saying the hail damage was from 2 1/2 years ago and to file a claim with my carrier from 2021. They bullied and intimidated me into canceling the claim. The only information provided to me was a hail report, would not forward the adjuster's finding's. Goosehead's only response to the issue is that "they are sorry" there is nothing they can do to assist me. They offered to shop new homeowners and auto insurers but said no one will provide homeowners insurance if I have a claim open. Now I have eight weeks to come up with $20K to replace my roof or have no insurance. They are useless. I have spent numerous hours on the phone with customer service (you get a new one everytime) and have to explain everything over again. My agent ******************* has never once contacted me after leaving many vm messages from March forward, today is April 26th and he has never once reached out to me. I am APPALLED at the awful "service" we received from this company. Our rates have gone up consistently for the same exact coverage. When I shopped around, found better rates with the same coverage, I requested to cancel our policy through Goosehead/Progressive. The agent, ***********************, talked down to me, yelled at me, "GUARANTEEING" me we're not getting the same coverage. As if I'm too ignorant to compare numbers. **** literally was YELLING at me to the point where my co-workers heard HIS voice and came to my aid. I'm disgusted by the treatment and would NEVER recommend this abhorrent company to anyone. I wish I could leave ZERO STARS!-******************Goosehead Insurance Agency, LLC

Switching insurance can be a headache for anyone. Weve all been through it. *** had insurance for over thirty years and ****** knowledge of his industry really impressed me the most. He went out of his way to make it as seamless as possible. 1 starThey owe me almost $500 refund for over 3 months now. *** tried to get it processed over 5 times and they can never do their job right. At this point Im stuck filing police report for fraud against them.
