      This company is shitty! Dont sign any contract with them. They will keep taking money out of your bank account. Even that you cancel with written email and call in after the contract is expired.

      I am done with this crappy unprofessional company. Shotty and illegal business p0ractices. I was given a renewed contract that I was unaware of and now they tell me it will cost me approximately $1100 to terminate. Before my first contract ended , I contacted AMP smart and requested a contract end date. The contract end date was provided and a few weeks later an AMP Smart representative called me and informed me that they were upgrading their system and the current system that they installed was incompatible and I would need to upgrade free of charge to me if they were going to be able to continue to monitor my home. I questioned the upgrade stating that I had no intentions of renewing anyway. The representative on the phone assured me that i would NOT be charged. they sent a tech out to install a new system and a couple of days after the upgrade install , another AMP Smart representative shows up at my door stating that I had to sign for the upgraded equipment and once again assured me that I would not be renewed or charged. Well wouldn't you know it? approximately 1 to 2 weeks later I received an email stating that I had renewed for an additional 5 years. I was scammed and they will not let me out of my contract. Run from this company. I feel they are criminal!!

      ******* was friendly and very helpful! I needed to notify AMPsmart about the death of my husband since he was the one who signed us up for the service. ******* said that he was very sorry for my loss and gave me all of the information that I needed to email back to AMPsmart for notification. A great conversation!

      THIS IS THE WORST SECURITY SERVICE THAT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES FOR REPAIRS AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR FLIMSY EQUIPMENT THAT THEY NEEDED TO REPLACE AT NO CHARGE. THE SERVICE REP SHOWED UP TWO DAYS LATE WITHOUT WORD AND WHEN HE DID THE WORK HE LEFT MY LADDER LEANED UP AGAINST MY CAR AND LEFT. I CALLED BACK AGAIN AFTER HE LEFT AND OUT OF THE THREE DOORS I HAD SET UP ONLY 1 WORKED. THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO FIND ME BY NAME, ADDRESS OR PHONE NUMBER WHEN I CALLED. I TOLD THEM TO PICK UP THEIR EQUIPMENT! LIVING ALONE THIS IS NOT A SECURE SERVICE. ALSO THE EQUIPMENT WAS OUTDATED AND ALSO CAUSED AN ELECTRICAL FIRE IN MY LAUNDRY ROOM WHEN THE SERVICE REP WAS HERE. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Horrible company not trustworthy. They will automatically renew your contract then when you try to cx you are charged double Do not sign anything with them They are a scam

      I signed a contract with this company for a 60 month contract with the agreement that my rate would not go up within the initial term. Unfortunately, my rate increased multiple times over the past 2.5 years. Because they broke the contract (section 13 in the agreement) I wrote and submitted a letter requesting to cancel my services. I received a call from them denying my cancellation and claiming they could increase the rates (which the contact said the could do AFTER the initial term). She insisted I must buy my way out of the contract. When asking the customer service rep to send me a letter stating they were denying my cancellation, she repeatedly avoided my question. Finally she became flustered and told me she would not send a letter. At this point, I terminated the phone call. I will be sending another letter requesting cancellation of services. If the request is not honored again, I will contact the attorney general, as they did not honor the contract they signed. As a side note, *** recently learned the devices they installed at my house were outdated. I also had issues with the devices not working properly- I could not use the two way microphone and the doorbell often stopped working.
