  I hope this helps people looking for home security services. AMP Smart security charges people ~$2,000 to cancel their service. Be careful who you sign with.

  Hello ******, we train our sales representative to be upfront and transparent before, during, and after the sale. Additionally, we conduct quality assurance phone surveys and provide copies of all signed agreements to our customers on the day of the sale. A 3-day right of recision is supplied as well. This timeframe gives a grace ******* which allows customers to review the paperwork they signed, contact us with any questions or concerns, and, if so desired, the ability to cancel with no penalty.   STAY AWAY!! I was dupped into paying for this service at an extremely high price compared to the competition AND signing a 5 year contract. Service was adequate so I stuck out the five years. When I went to cancel I was told that my contract had automatically renewed FOR ANOTHER FIVE YEARS!!! There are better products on the market for less money and no contracts. If they really thought their service was adequate, they would not ***** you into extended contracts.The least they could have done after 5 years of on-time payments would be to have sent me an email confirming the renewal.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you want to be locked in forever!!!

  ***** from customer service remembered me from yesterday when I called to make a compliment about our service tech Gonzo from AMP security. She is very polite. Gonzo the service tech was very knowledgeable about home security. He stayed until everything was back working properly and got my phone app working correctly. Great company.

  Horrible company. They have shady business practices. I've been trying to cancel for over two weeks. Then magically I get ahold of the department to cancel when it's less than 30 days by a day so I get charged an extra month. DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE.

  Excellent service from everyone I talked to at Amp Smart today, very friendly and very professional, ***** was the first to help then ***** and not sure the name of the scheduler but she was very good too, very satisfied *********************

  I am a senior with *********. Needless to say typing and submitting this evaluation is a challenge! I want to once again tackle this task of submitting a review on behalf on the employee whose name is ******! He was so gracious and comforting as he took the time explain and walk me thru the adjustments best suited for my needs! Thank you so much *******! It is because of technical support of employees such ******* that I highly recommend AmpSmart !
