    I have been using 1-800-contacts for about 5 years now. I have never had an issue with this company. As a matter of fact, they have always went above and beyond for me. Example: I was down to my last pair of contacts and my left fell out. I contacted them to see if they could send a replacement until I can order a box. Not only did they send me a replacement. They sent me 2 contacts for each eye. They were delivered within a few days. I have always had wonderful experiences with them both on the phone and on chat box. I will be a forever customer, not only for their pricing but also because of the customer service I receive.

    1 800 Contacts has been spamming my email constantly for the past year without an opt out option. I work in IT and know that an opt out option is required. Without being able to opt out, my only option is to leave a review and blacklist all email from 1 800 Contacts.

    I order contacts because they mentioned they was a rebate when I asked for the rebate they told me that my order did not qualify. I reached out to the company and told them to cancel the order which was placed less than a hour. This is what I got from them. Its fraud advertising! They would not cancel the order even though I requested to cancel the order less than an hour after the order was placed.Beware!!!!Thank you for your response. I am so sorry that you are needing to cancel your order. I am so sorry but your order has already shipped out and cannot be cancelled. However, if you still don't want your order, we can easily set up a return for a refund. Simply reply to this email if you'd like us to do that and we'd be happy to help. I just wanted to let you know that we have the Best-Price Guarantee, which means we will beat any U.S. competitor's direct-to-site pricing Cart for Cart by $1.00!     We are sorry to hear that you wanted to cancel your order. Order get processed extremely fast (which is good when you are wanting the order, but bad if you're wanting to cancel) which makes it hard to cancel orders after they have been processed. 

    If you responded to the email, you should have been able to easily get that return and refund set up. Please reach out to our wonderful customer support team if that is still something you would like to do.

    Watch out, 1800contacts uses bait and switch tactics. They Luer you in with price match guarantee, but they dont allow you to stack discounts like 25% off for new users or adding your insurance to those discounts. Whats the point of a guarantee if its not guaranteed. All these companies who do this should be put out of business. I understand you have to maintain a certain level of overhead and running a company, but dont advertise something thats not true if you wanted to be truthful as a company, you could advertise 25% off for new customers or price match guarantee. Dont lead people on it. Waste your time it waste our time and honestly, I dont wanna do business with a company thats going to be distrustful from the beginning learn something from this review and change the way you do business. Trust me, you will receive so many more blessings from that rather than the bait and switch tactics.

    1 star is a GIFT. I paid for next business day delivery, and the contacts did NOT arrive the next business day. I informed them via chat the following day, stating that I wanted the shipping cost waived. The chat bot claimed to waive it. Later that day, I received a text stating that my contacts were delivered. They were NOT delivered to MY address. They were delivered to a HARDWARE store miles from my house. I called (instead of "chat[ed]") and explained the situation. I was told they would waive the shipping fee. I informed the entry level employee that the chat bot already waived it. She then transferred me to a "supervisor" named "******." Instead of accepting ownership for her company's mistake and making an overture to keep me as a customer, "******" simply offered to waive the shipping fee (yes, the one that had supposedly already been waived). When I informed her this was unacceptable, ******'s response was that the entry level employee that transferred me to her ("******") was "in tears." While sympathetic to the unnamed entry level employee's tears, I found "******'s" response unbelievably useless and a further complete waste of my time. DO NOT do "business" with this incredibly unprofessional company. (I can speak to professionalism in this regard, as I am a physician who requires proper vision to do my job.)

    I was charged almost triple the amount for my contacts. They couldnt reverse the charge as they claimed they had no record of it. I have had to make a claim with my bank to dispute because their customer service is giving me the run-around. At the end of the day, Im out of $650 and theres no solution in sight. I have used this company multiple times in the past, but this will be the last time.

    I have ordered for years I tried to order again I knew I needed a new prescription so I did the online exam paid for that. When the contacts came it was 2 pairs instead of 4 which I expected. I called and someone was nice enough tobtell me they had the ones I ordered in the past. She exchanged them I was going tornd zhem back. Then I get an email asking me for another prescription. When I called I was told due to brand change a new exam was needed. Mind you I did the exam a week ago. Bottom line I will never order here again. They will rip you off however way they can.

Because contact lenses are a medical device, we have to make sure you have a prescription for what is being ordered which is why you had to take the exam again. I notice on your account that the supervisor offered to refund you the cost of taking the exam the second time. 

    If you decide in the future to order contacts again, I made a note that we stick with that offer and refund you the cost of taking the exam so that you can order the right contacts. We are here to help you however you can and want to make sure you have a great experience.

    I have ordered last year from them and I got two pairs of the same color, it really was my mistake so I called in to exchange them for the color that I wanted however I have decided to keep them since I was going to use them sooner or later. One month later I was charged because I did not return them prior. ***************, I did not say anything because it was correct for them to charge me since I did not send the return back. This year my prescription was changed so I ordered my new ones and asked if I could returns the ones I ended up not using from last year. I was told that it was OK to send them back however I only got partial credit of $60 when I paid $239. I have called so many times and they don't get it. At the end I was able to get new boxes but I only got 2 boxes of 2 lenses per box when I have returned 2 boxes of 6 lenses. What a nightmare, never again I am ordering from here.

    We are sorry about the frustration you experienced with returning your old contacts. We cannot give more credit because you already got the credit on the order we did an even exchange on. Yes, you did pay in full for the brown lenses, and that credit was transferred to the exchange order with $0.00. You were charged $60.07 for not returning them (since the rest was an even exchange credit) and then we refunded him ***** x2 = $60.08, so technically 1 cent extra. 

    We sent the 2 packs at no cost as an exception to help with the frustration over the situation. 

    Again, we apologize for the frustration and hope the explanation helps clear things up a little. We hope you reconsider and decide to look into buying from us in the future.     Jury is still out. I just submitted for a refund on faulty contact lenses. We shall see if their money back guarantee is as good as gold like they advertise or if its gonna take a month to get my refund.

    Looking at your account, the refund was submitted on September 13th. It can take up to 30 days to get your refund due to processing times with the bank, but it should get to you sooner than that.
