They are great at selling you the products and taking your money. Delivering the contacts is a whole different story. Paid for express shipping. They said I ordered a different brand and they would reach out to the doctor for approval and then 4 business days later still nothing. When I called they said they tried but couldnt get a response. **************** was smug and made me feel like it was my fault they couldnt get ahold of the doctor. I ended up canceling my order because the customer service agent tried to take this complaint as a chance to upsell me for more money. Lousy service, lousy responses. I will just go to my eye doctor instead.1-800 Contacts, Inc.

This is a terrible company I have been trying to get my contacts from them for over 2 months, I have spent over 2 hours trying to resolve the situation. I give up..don't use them!1-800 Contacts, Inc.

Yeah they're scammers. When it comes to that express exam, they want you to take one foe every single brand you pick, and all you're doing is reading letters. I have had corrective lenses since 3rd grade and I've worn contacts for the last 15 years, so I know you don't need a new exam foe every different brand you pick. And I'm not paying an extra $20 to get dailies. Or to try a new brand. An optometrist doesn't make you do that. Its a complete waste of money. That express exam should cover ALL soft contacts made with the same materials. So if my normal brand is acuvue oasys, then I can wear ANY acuvue soft contacts. Nope. I have to pay an extra 20. Absolutely a scam. Just get your prescription renewed through the optometrist.1-800 Contacts, Inc.

We are sorry about the frustration you experienced trying to get a new prescription. Unfortunately, because contacts are a medical device you have to have a prescription for them, and that prescription is brand specific. We are not able to change the bran on the rx that was approved. You would need your eye care provider to approve a change in brand and contacts the same way. We offer the Express Exam as a way to conveniently get a prescription from the comfort of your home.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE GUYS, FULL ON SCAM. I ordered from ******. They didn't indicate anywhere that they only charge you in USD, so it's way more expensive than anywhere else. When I saw the charge to my credit card, they wouldn't cancel the order. They sent me a **** shipping label, which doesn't work in ******. When I messaged them about it, they told me that they were aware that the **** shipping label wouldn't work (so ...... why did you send it to me). I had to pay to ship it back and they would refund me the shipping. Except they wouldn't refund my shipping on the same card I paid for. They mailed me a cheque in USD. Which I cannot deposit since I do not have a ******** account BECAUSE I AM NOT AMERICAN.1-800 Contacts, Inc.

Unfortunately, we have no way to refund shipping for an out of pocket charge except through check. If you were unable to find a bank that could cash the check, the other option would be to add credit to your account.

Ordered contacts in March 2023 and purposely did not apply my EyeMed benefits as I knew I would need new glasses at my eye exam in July 2023. Find out today at my Dr's ****** that my lenses were not eligible under my insurance. Got home and did some digging and discovered ***** Contacts applied my benefit anyways and never charged me for the contacts -- I never thought to double check my bank account at the time as there's never been an issue before. So scammy! Told me that I could get my contact lenses faster than the delay ****** had. This was the beginning of July. ****** told me early August at the latest, so I asked them to cancel and went through 1800contacts. Told me they would have them to me by the 21st. Heard nothing else after that. Well, today is the 21st and I at least wanted an update. The agent on the chat was rude and condescending about how my contacts are custom made, and it would take four to six weeks to make them and then quoted me SEPTEMBER 14th. That is more than eight weeks from when I made the initial order! If I had known that, I would have left my order with ******! They should have at least updated me. I cancelled and won't go through them again.1-800 Contacts, Inc.

I placed an order while my prescription was active, they sent a totally different color of contacts. Once I realized their mistake and tried to get them to replace the order, my prescription expired and they will not send the correct color. Yes, the solution would be get an exam and send them an updated prescription but I should not be forced to do so just to have them honor their mistake. Basically I paid them $120 for NOTHING! Looking at the notes on your account, the replacement contacts were able to be shipped and should have been delivered to you. What can I say about this buisness? Well for starters they are absolutely AMAZING! These people with their 1 star reviews are people that do not know what they are talking about. I have ordered 2 boxes from them. One back In 2019, the other this year, 2023. Even with my high prescription and the delay due to the custom order of my lenses. ***** Contacts makes sure that their customers are happy. I spoke with them asking when my contacts would arrive at a rough estimate, the response was "we expect them no later then 8/18/23. About 2 days later I had a notification on my phone that told me my contacts have shipped and are now expected to arrive about a month early. I could not be happier with this buisness, they are truly the best and I promise you this now. I have no problem giving my money to this company, and I definitely have no problems with continuing my patronage to this company. I plan for many more years down the road to be using this company. To the company don't let the critics out there be y'alls demise. I said it once and I will say it again, you guys are truly AMAZING. I ordered a year's worth of contacts. When they arrived, I had a few of the previous year's remaining, so I put the box away and didn't think any more about it. About a month later I was ready for the new contacts. Whoa...something was not right - but was it my vision or the contact?!?! I had to find my reading glasses and strong light, but I realized I had a year's worth of the wrong contact. I went back to the computer (with my glasses) and realized the scan I made of my prescription was very poor quality and it could have been interpreted as a 4 instead of a 1. With a sinking stomach, I reached out to ***** Contacts through the chat feature. Much to my delight, they were very helpful and understanding. They realized it was, in fact, a 1. That was YESTERDAY morning and I got my replacement contacts this afternoon! With a return label to return the wrong ones. I can see clearly now! Great customer service!1-800 Contacts, Inc.
