Horrible. Never use. I placed an order for my first time. I paid with my HSA card. I immediately canceled it because my prescription was wrong. Its been 20 days and the charge is still on my card. I have contacted them, emailed, and chatted with them. Chat will only tell me that it will be refunded within 24 hours. 20 days ago.1-800 Contacts, Inc.

We're so sorry for the frustration with your order; that's not the experience we want you to have with us! We only charge your card once the order has shipped. What you're seeing is a pending authorization. Once the order is canceled, that pending authorization is dropped on our end, but it can take 3-10 business days for your bank to drop that on your end. If you still see the charge, please call us at **************, and any agent will be happy to make a conference call with you and your bank to resolve that for you!

I have been a customer of **************************** for about 10 years. Up until now, I had no problems with their competitive pricing and 100% price match guarantee as advertised on their website. However, their 100% is not 100%. They have "5 exceptions" listed. I understand most of the exception except one. This is the one excluding search engine prices. Most online shopper now use search engines such as ****** to find competitive prices. So this excludes a lot of customers. I also feel this is a form of false advertising when they advertise 100% price match guarantee with this exception.1-800 Contacts, Inc.

We're unable to use ****** pricing because the prices offered through ****** are to bring in new customers. If you order from another website at that ****** price, the next time you order from them, it will revert to their regular price and not allow you to get that discount again. Unfortunately, we're unable to match new customer pricing; it does have to be the regular price offered to all customers.
If you decide to order using the competitor's one-time discount, we understand, and we hope that you'll keep us in mind on your next order when the price reverts to their regular cost (again, we're happy to beat that by $1!). Back in August 30, 2023, I was excited to grab a deal on TopCashback, offering 15% cashback for new customers of ***** CONTACTS. I decided to buy contact lenses, hoping to save some cash. After I made the purchase with $839.92, I saw $123.46 credited to my TopCashback account, confirming I got the cashback. But my happiness didn't last long, one month later the credit was gone; and it was until November that I found out this issue, ***** CONTACTS declined the cashback. I first talked to TopCashback to figure out what happened. They said the retailer declined the cashback, and there wasn't much they could do. They suggested I contact ***** CONTACTS directly. So, I did. ***** CONTACTS admitted the error; they said they changed my order number, which made me ineligible for the cashback. I didn't know about this change, and I told the customer service that it was their mistake and I should get the cashback back into my account or even as a prepaid **** card, but they said no. Instead, they said they could offer me 15% off next purchase....but only if I remembered to contact them and claim it. It's a warning to others to be careful and understand that the retailer may use tricks to attract you but refuse to commit it. I was really upset about my contacts being on backorder but they were able to split my package in two so that I was able to get back to good healthy vision. And though they were able to, it still was not a long wait until the backorder boxes came in. I'm completely satisfied. Boxes came with clear labels and a paper that showed the * from R. And also a case just in case. Thank you 1800 contacts. I'll definitely recommend1-800 Contacts, Inc.

First and last time I was ordering from them. Had to pay 2x for their exam because they took way too long to verify my prescription. Paid for 1 day shipping and didn't receive my contacts until 5 days later. Waiting for a refund to be posted to my account for a cancellation and I will probably be getting my financial institution involved because it's been two weeks. I'll just go back to ordering directly through my optometrist, it's more expensive but at least I know I'll get my contacts in time.1-800 Contacts, Inc.

We show that you took the exam twice but were only charged once as the other charge was an authorization and will drop off your card within 3-10 business days. We also refunded the expedited shipping charge since it was not received next day as expected.
The final charge was lower than the initial authorization and the adjustment should appear on your bank statement. Were always happy to make a 3-way call with your financial institution to help get this cleared up. Please feel free to give us a call at your convenience.

Since there wasn't a current prescription on file, and we were unable to verify with ************* provider, the order was cancelled. The authorization was removed and will appear on your account within 3-10 business days.
We do also offer an express exam service for $20 that allows you to renew your current prescription online if your current prescription is still working for you. Please reach out if you have any further questions or concerns.

1 starThey sent me a complete wack prescription of contacts! I have to ship the wrong ones back just to receive a refund after their s**** up. This was the first time I ordered contacts online and Ill never do it again. Have no clue where they came up with this prescription after I sent them my prescription and they also had to call the eye dr that Ive seen so someone doesnt know what theyre doing over there!
