      I made a payment on 2/22/2023 when I looked on their today my account was empty. I called for them to say they closed my account on 2/21/2023 but the account status is still saying open. I was hung up on 4 times with no answer to my questions. I should have known it was a problem because I made a payment back in August in which I didn't have to and they never credited my account for that.

      My account information was changed without my consent. I tried to call 7x, and was hung up on when I asked for a supervisor the first 6. The 7th time was 30min of continuous riging. It's a direct violation of the contract and this is a consistent pattern for customers. This company needs to be reviewed badly. It took 6weeks to even get a card and another 5 to even find out what my pin number was. I've had the card for almost a year. And this is the last straw for me. I'm also going to file a complaint with the attorney General. Please be warned!

      I've been with this company since 2017 and I've made all my payments on time and I have nor have a credit increase at all. I recommend someone to them and they gave them an increase in less than a year and I have way more credit than She. I will never do that again. Stay away from this company. All my other credit cards have taken care of me except this one. Stay away.

      Worse credit card ever. Someone from grubhub decided to tip his self ***** and it took them 2 months to replace it and charged me late fees even though I had auto pay and never got my money back

      Even though I have plenty of credit on my card, all transactions are getting declined. Nothing on the website indicates a fraud alert, and customer service says the business is marked as high risk. It's Wal Mart. This makes no sense and it's very frustrating to have a credit card that is basically useless because it declines every transaction, regardless of available credit.

      Called to cancel the card and get a new one, I had a fraudlent charge on my first card. Still waiting on a replacement card since January 10th. I was told the first time it would be sent in 7-10 days. Never received it. Called a second time and they said the first replacement was already activated. What?!?!?!? I never received it or activated it. Closed down that card and was told again a new card will be sent in 7-10 days. It is beyod ridiculous that this is happening. Ridiculous and I am going to call my state AG. This is criminal.

      Whatever you do do not go with Merrick Bank they are thieves I just viewed it an amount for repairs to my car did not get my car back for one day it went bad same problem I spent almost $1,000 on I disputed the amount because why pay for something that was never done they asked me to send in paperwork I sent him other estimate my explanation everything that they requested I sent in the first time then I got a letter saying that the dispute went against me and the money is put back out to my account. I called to talk to them and find out why I lost a dispute they said they believed the mechanic shop which is a Mercedes dealer over me and I told him how about the paperwork that I sent in they said oh there's no paperwork here from you and that's why you lost this dispute I told him that's a bunch of BS I sent in the paperwork as requested so they tell me last week send it in again not do I only send in the paperwork I sent in the letter from the Attorney General's office showing that the dealer never responded to them about my complaint against them I called today talked to this Monica girl and she says there's no evidence of me calling anybody last week even though I gave her the name and the time I called last week of the person she says we have thousands of employees we don't keep track of everyone and I go what can I talk to the manager she says all we could do is leave a message they'll get back to you within 72 hours and I go why 72 I need to talk to someone now she shut the phone in my face that's their professional idiots there so please don't go in Merrick I stayed with those fools even though I was late one payment ( in hospital) out of years of service, never late or missed a payment, report me credit bureau.
      I never had a problem with Merrick stupid bank , their idiot employees. Monika in particular, shut phone in my face.
      I'm going to file a complaint with the Attorney General's office against these idiots at Merrick Bank.

      I charged two $200 Google Play Store gift cards to my Merrick Mastercard even though I was told I couldn't use my card because, the account was closed. I've been put on hold several times when I reached out to them.

      When I first got my credit card with Merrick Bank my payment due date was supposed to be the first of every month. They changed my payment due date to the 28th of every month i'm on a fixed income. So that calls me to receive a late fee of $35 every time along with the high fees for using the card.When I talk to customer service.They claim they were going to change my payment date to the first of every month! They never did they would put me on hold 10,15,20 minutes over a half an hour claiming they were transferring me! But instead what would happen someone else would pick up the phone and ask can they help me and want me to start over again! This is the worst experience that I've ever had with any bank or credit card company! The more I paid them the more I ended up owing them! I closed my account with them! I would never recommend for anyone to deal with Merrick Bank!

      Someone in Merrick Bank is SCAMMING. I was supposed to get replacement card because Merrick Bank claimed they were changing from **** to MasterCard early in 2022. I NEVER received the FIRST replacement card but was surprised as h*** to see new fraudulent charges on my account. I called them to report the fraudulent charges and asked how could the new card get charged when it was not even received and activated. I reported the fraudulent charges to authorities as well since they were seemingly swiped in local stores. Merrick Bank did immediately close the account to investigate the charges and said they will reissue me a brand new card/account. Fast forward to January 2023, and just like all the reviewers before me, I called Merrick Bank for this new card and was told about card production machine broken and shortages have occurred which already seemed strange. Now February 2023, I go to pay the bill and was blown the f**k away when I see charges in January 2023 that occurred in a Target in *****, **. I LIVE IN ************* and know **** well I was at work in Manhattan and not in *****. Now I am freaking furious!!! Called Merrick Bank customer service and was put on hold for ***** minutes. I am seriously considering not paying these MOFOs nothing, but my credit score would be held hostage. I am 100% certain this is an inside SCAM job and all these other reviewers may be affected.
