      I applied for the double your line of credit promotion around the beginning of December 2022. I still haven't received my card. **************** is non existing. I can't get any answers or when the card will be shipped. It's now Jan.2nd 2023. However, i did receive a bill in the outstanding amount of $123.00 that is due on the 17th of Jan. ******** to believe this is a scam. BUYER BEWARE!

      Same thing here as I misplaced my card so I called and set up new card. The lady I spoke with told me I will receive my new card in 10 days.It's been 1 month and a half I've called 3 times and everytime I get told that there is a plastic shortage and that they are in process of making it. It's funny because I set up an account with credit one and got my card within 6 days? There is no way to get into my online accounts so I don't even know what the balance is I don't know what's being charged and what's not? The only thing I know for sure is that they charge $5 when you call them to make a payment Over the phone as I cannot make a payment online because I can't get to into my account As you need the credit card number to actually log in to the account online. I did not ever get notified that there is a supposed plastic shortage I asked lady on the phone am I gonna get notified when my card is sent out she said no so basically I'm just sitting here in Limbo.

      Was approved dec 12 told it would be two weeks it now dec 31 still haven't received told the same as everyone else plastic shortage .will be cancelling and see how much headache that will be and will be filing dispute on credit bureau. Bbb sounds to me you guys need to shut this place down.

      Merrick doesnt return or take calls to resolve my problems for over a week.They promise to call and dont they increased my interest rate on my credit card with no notification. I am a retiree. And find it hard to believe how a bank could treat people with no respect. I encourage anyone that is thinking to do business with them to find another bank outfit . I would not recommend them

      I paid my full balance on my account. Approx. 2 weeks later, I received notification my credit score went down 10 pts. for non- payment. **************** said it was returned by my bank (not true) I was then transferred to Collections, the woman said that I cancelled the payment and she could no longer accept my payment using my current and only banking information. Merrick Bank NEVER put my payment through nor did I cancel my payment! STAY AWAY FROM MERRICK BANK, THEY WILL HURT YOUR CREDIT!

      After "sending" me a new Mastercard (previously was ***** without notifying me beforehand of the change over, of course my card stopped working. They then started calling me LITERALLY 5-6 times of day and sometimes even after 9pm when my son is asleep. When I finally answered, I paid my past due balance, and told them I wanted a new card sent to me. They told me they couldn't do it and needed to transfer me to their "security" team. Sat on hold for 15 minutes before being disconnected. Tried calling multiple times since then, and every time I can't get through to this "security" team, and when I ask to speak with a manager, I get disconnected. Not to mention, they put my account on hold because I told them not to call me 5-6 times a day because that is considered harassment. I never told them to take my number off the account, which they did. I am not paying another cent until I receive my new card, but they seem h*** bent on not giving it to me. I will not pay any late charges or payments until I receive my new card. I am prepared to hire a lawyer if my credit is affected as well.

      Terrible customer service, see below at all the complaints, they have yet to send my card due to manufacturing issues and its been over a month, instead of offering any type of solution they just brush you off, not only that but they were even willing to waive any fees on their end! and I have a ZERO balance with them, closing them soon!

      I was approved on 11/30/2022 for a credit card. By the next week the account was on my credit report reflecting the $36 annual fee. I had yet to receive the card or ACTIVATE it. I called on Dec 13, 2022 and was told they have a plastic shortage. The representative never answered my question as to why Ive been charged the annual fee on an account Ive yet to activate. I received my statement in the mail. Its dated December 15,2022. Still no card. I call today December 29, 2022. The representative repeatedly tells me no worries your card has been sent. When I asked for the exact date it was mailed. Representative became irritated then says December 26th and hurries off the phone.

      I've had an account with them for a while now. Apparently they deactivated my card and sent me a new one (why, I have no idea), but I wasn't expecting a new one so I tossed the mail thinking it was just a statement. Tried to use my card and found out that it was deactivated. So I ordered a new one. Was told **** business days. Then was told three weeks. Now told there's no telling when I'll get it. So I haven't been able to even use my account in over a month and no telling when I'll be able to again. Very disappointed.

      Merrick Bank is in the process of having their **** cards switch to Mastercard for the last few months (Since October 2022). They have shown on their app that new cards would be coming and to continue using our card. However, my old card stopped working and I still have not received a replacement after several months. I called customer service and they just told me they were not printed yet and that I should call again on Friday or next week. I was livid because how can I make payments on an account number or card that I have no access to yet? I need the card to pay my own bills but their customer service representative was horrible. I bet I am still being charged interest on a card that I have not even received yet.
