      Merrick Bank is a joke! **************** is pathetic. Dont speak English. Dont understand English. And they read from a script. They cant even answer a question without reading the script in front of them. Ive been waiting 1 month for a new card and Ive called 4x in that month. They cancelled my card for a unauthorized purchase from I dont even where. THEY cancelled it. I didnt even know about the purchase. Now I cant get another card sent to me! They sure as h*** sent me a bill though! Cant even get a supervisor to take my call! Who are these people and what backwards country are they in? Certainly not U.S. Im totally fed up with this company. Disgraceful!!!

      Maybe this is the best way to get someone's attention in your company...My identity was stolen using your company as the cover, and several of your employees don't want to see the problem or are in on the theft. Before I review you on 75 different outlets, I'll give you a chance to address the problem appropriately.

      Worse company I have ever run across. Everytime I get someone on the phone I have been lied to. Still waiting for my updated card , going on for 4 months now and called 8xs and always told something different!!! Canceling card ! Not worth the being treated this way.

      Called several times to get my credit updated and disputed due to Merrick Bank. My Balance has been at Zero for 4 months and no update to Equifax. Getting an answer from customer service or mgmt is ridiculous. Still waiting for them to correct my information

      Don't do it run!!!! I requested a new card Nov. 4th.... still waiting. They lock your online access when you report a card missing then when you miss they payment charge you the late fee!!!! The agents hardly speak English, they are argumentative, rude, and just plain dismissive. I will be paying it off and CLOSING my account I'll take the hit to not deal with these snakes.

      ******* I will NEVER refer this credit card to ANYONE. Their level of professionalism and customer service is abhorrent. Their customer service representatives that I have spoken with are argumentative and rude. You can't speak to a supervisor unless you explain what the entire problem is to a representative who cannot help. Then you get to a supervisor who can't give you their name nor extension. I am on with 3 supervisors currently and they are absolutely useless

      This is absolutely the worst bank to do business with. I opened a secured account for my daughter in August, by October they hadnt applied the deposit. I requested the account to be closed October 8, we are now in the middle of November and they still are holding my money. The customer service is horrible, they place you on hold for longer times than needed and are always giving false information. As a single parent its very difficult to go without funds when needed but for a bank to hold your money for months without returning it should be illegal. I hope this bank gets closed or reported or sued for treating customers this way.

      Absolutely the worst customer service since they switched to MC. I cannot fathom what happened to the company but I just went through an ordeal with a disputed charge that was jaw dropping bad. This just before I am going on a trip so upon my return, I am calling and cancelling this card. BTW, I've been an account holder since 2017, never missed or been late with a payment.
