      If you are locked out of your mobile App, MERRICK BANK is no help. I had a balance of $247 on my account, I attempted to login to pay it and couldnt. I tried to rest my account but didnt know account number by heart. **************** was no help and told me they would not assist until I paid the balance on my card. So I hope this helps someone like me. Your account number is the same as your card number. They refused to tell me this information! So Im telling you.You will need card number (account number), last 4 of your SSN and your last name to rest USERNAME OR PASSWORD.I hope this helps. I would also advise to use a ************ instead or if you bank with Huntington you can get credit through them with lower interest rates. I have experienced nothing but headache and rude staff at MERRICK BANK! DO BETTER!

      If I could have given this bank a 0 out of 5 I would have. I have been a loyal customer with this company since March 2017 with no missed payments or late payments what so ever. I no longer wanted to use my account because this bank is a joke with the continuing monthly fees, so I decided to freeze my account back in July of 2020 and just pay the $6.00 monthly annual fee because I knew that if I closed the account all together it would appear on my credit report which mind you has nothing negative on it as we speak. I received my first July statement due in august saying I owed $12 (Im assuming 2 monthly fees after freezing my account) in which I paid in August then all of a sudden I stopped receiving statements reminding me of this monthly fee with them. Lets be real with all the other credit cards I have if Im not using this one and dont get a reminder one would probably forget about a monthly fee which is normal. So instead of Merrick bank reaching out to be after seeing I missed one payment knowing thats not like me given my payment history they let a second month go past due that then put me in their in house collections which they claim didnt effect my credit report negatively, but my credit report is how I found out not by a phone call from them. I then called in to see what exactly happened and I was pretty much called a liar saying they sent out these reminder statements and I just didnt pay. I was also hung up on by the first representative after asking for a supervisor and then had to call back to then get another rep that solved nothing then I actually got a supervisor in collections who barely spoke English and wasnt listening to a word I was saying, but asked that I listen to her. She stated she would file a complaint then when asking for a corporate number I had to be transferred to CS who then just filed a complaint to have someone call me and to take the negative remarks on my credit off that NEVER WENT ON THERE RIGHT?! Lol

      very disappointed with customer service (which i do not believe any one work there),no one ever answer the phone,been paying my payment on time since i received the card, was notified via email that i getting a new card in the mail in August and nothing came yet, was promised that i will be able still use my old card but this is all bushtit.have been declined every time in the past 2 month MAJOR SCAM DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM I WOULD RATE THEM BELOW -0- UNFORTUNATLY I HAVE TO USE THE ONE STAR

      0/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Very unprofessional and unhelpful. The app they promote so heavily unprepared. It will not allow you to reset the password. Called into get assistance from a representative LAST MONTH and was told they could help IF I made the payment. I did. STILL UNABLE TO ACCESS THE **** A MONTH LATER. Been calling for DAYS and I keep being told the same thing, make a payment and we will help my acct is NOW past due. Never! Been! Past! Due! When I could access the account!!! Now I do not want to pay through anyone because they LIE! Ive been sent between customer service and payments for the last hour. So long that Ive had time to tell this story on all their social media platforms. Because this is unacceptable.

      BEWARE!!! Deplorable customer service, hour long wait times no matter when you call. They tell you lies. These people obviously are winging it. *** worked for credit card companys in the past and I cant believe these people are in existence. I will be paying off my balance and never using it again. These people can make your credit worse.

      I had good luck with Merrick for years, however, during their conversion to MasterCard, erroneous charges were made to my card by a well know vacation rental company. After several calls, they agreed that there was a problem and that they would fix the problem with the correct number of credits, so my ongoing balance would be correct. After several months of working with them by phone only, since you can't email anyone in the company, my balance is not more than $645 above where it should be. I mailed all my data to the company, and still nothing from them. When I call, it's like I'm starting all over each time. Just terrible customer service and this equates to fraud, by the company itself. It's very easy to figure out what my balance should be, but they refuse to even listen to what I say. When it comes to getting a card from them, take this into consideration.

      When I pay my bill thru second party (doxo)on their request. My money always held up 4 days- 7 days before turning money over to ************* Called them they are rude & don't adhere to any of your problems. I BELIEVE THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM.

      Very Disappointed made my payment with my debit card on 10/07/2022 and today is 10/10/2022 the payment was made with my debit card and has cleared my bank account but Merrick Bank has not posted it yet, have been on the phone with Merrick bank since i made my payment on 10/07/2022 to see what the problem was about posting my payment and they told me to wait 24 hours and paying with a debit card you should not have to wait 24 hours for them to post a payment so I called back this morning on 10/102022 and they tell me I have to wait another 24 hours I advise anyone who wants to pay with debit card DO NOT PAY WITH DEBIT CARD IT TAKES LONGER TO CLEAR THERE ACCOUNT THEN PAYING STRAIGHT OUT OF YOUR CHECKING ACCOUNT" They are not very helpful over the phone and keep trying to cut you short on a conversation so they do not have to talk to you CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE I do not recommend them to anyone

      I over paid a payment by accident. My payment is not due yet. Tried to call and get it corrected. **************** left me in hold twice for over an hour each time. They have awful customer service. How can you treat your customers this way?
