      Never doing business with this company. ridiculously high interest charges, 95% of your payment gets applied to interest. Please avoid at all costs.

      They post the payment but wait forever to take the money out of my checking account. I believe it's a game so they can return the payment and charge extra fees. Avoid at all costs!!!!!! Getting one star because I have too!!!

      I paid my balance in full. They continue to inaccurately report on my credit. I have been calling for weeks and all I get is shuffled around. No one know anything. I paid 2301 to have my account paid to 0. They are HORRIBLE. I am about to reverse my payment with my bank

      Thank goodness I never received the credit card Someone argued with me over and over that I had used it. I gave him the last 4 numbers of the only credit card I have. He kept saying thats not it. So he rushed me the card. Instead I got a nice letter stating that the card has never been used. They put my balance at zero. At least somebody there knows what theyre doing. Thank God I had this experience. Ill never bank with them.

      This bank has a system that is consistently unworkable. It incorrectly disabled my card because the mails they sent me were not being delivered to my house (i.e. being returned.)This indicates a problem with the bank system for two reasons:1. I only signed up for ************************. 2. I had the correct mailing address on the account. I consistently get mail delivered successfully to my mailing address, so there is no reason why the mailings should not reach my house. This is especially troubling as there was no notice given to me clearly that my credit card had been disabled. What if I needed to use the card in an emergency? This indicates a bank which does not have a system that works. This should be of concern to any cardholder. A bank that cannot even get basic technology and mailing right is a bank that I cannot have confidence in. My recommendation is to not use any of this bank's services.

      every month I try to pay my credit card, they send the payment back, saying I dont have funds in my checking. this is not the case. ive tried multiple times to pay on the phone and online, sometimes it works, most of the time they send the payment back, charge me a fee, and then say I dont have money in my account which is not accurate. theyre scamming people to get fees out of them

      Never doing business with this company again. I ordered my card in August and it is October with no card in the mail. I was told by the first ****** I spoke to that it was my fault they had my address wrong and then they sent it to the wrong address again. I called again and was told it would be here in 7-10 days and again nothing. I called again and was told the last card request was never received so they submitted a new one. Again I waited and no card so I called again and was hung up on. Finally one employee actually did her job, hopefully the card still isnt here yet, but the entire process was like pulling teeth. I am disgusted by their behavior.

      Terribly unprofessional and unorganized company. Currently on a 10 minute hold for my 5th underwhelming explanation of why my card keeps getting deactivated and replaced without my or anyone else's request or approval. The attitudes that customer service had over THEIR own inability to understand why this happens or how to stop it may be the most infuriating part of this. Paying my balance off and closing my account to prevent any further incompetence from affecting me. Because there will be further incompetence

      I realize that not all fraudulent charges can be prevented, however, when I called and filed disputes for 3 different merchants fraudulently charging my Merrick Bank Card. Merrick reimbursed me (Temporarily) for these charges, then started posting them back to my account. I called and asked why they were doing that. The first time the customer service person said, "that is the decision of the bank." I called again to get documentation on why they reversed four and re-charged my account. The lady in disputes stated because the merchant refunded my card those four charges. I do not see these reversals by the merchants on my online statements, however, Merrick Bank said they see them on their side. I asked for a copy of my statements to be sent via United States mail. I am now being charged $2.00 per copy. The statements they have on their side should be identical to the ones I can access online. This **** does not have its customers best interests in mind. I personally called one of the merchants and was told that I signed up for *********, which I most certainly did not. Some of these charges were charged to my card for the same amount on the same exact day. Who would do that for a subscription to sports? The merchants aren't legit and this bank isn't either. I would not use Merrick Bank for a credit card or any other services if this is how they do business.
