      If I have an option for no star, I would rate this bank with no star. I paid a service fee $230 to Global trade ************** After paying the fee, I spoke with their agent and they tried to scam me with other fees. I told the Global Trade **** that I didnt feel comfortable to continue doing the trademark with them. They then sent an email and promised to give me a refund within 5-7 Bussiness days. This was back in 3/30/24. Now is July 2024. I still havent received any credit as they promised.I wasnt able to resolve my dispute with a vendor for the charge. I finally called Merrick Bank to dispute this transaction fee. They asked me to fax in the proofs. I faxed in and I found out a month later that they denied my dispute because they never received my faxes. They reopened the case and asked my to fax in the proofs. I faxed in the proofs and called Merrick bank a week later. They said they still denied my dispute because they dont see any billing errors. How could they didnt? With the proof of vendor promised me to give me a refund and they didnt? I had to call in 5 times and spoke to 10 different customer service and dispute department. The process was painful because Every time I called, I had to repeat the same story. After those calls and sending in the proofs, ****** Bank still denied the case.Im disappointed of how this bank handled the dispute cases.If you are Merrick card holders and ever had to deal with disputed transactions. Good luck! This bank doesnt protect their customers at all.

      Also the company for MILESTONE CREDIT CARD. I would absolutely NOT RECOMMEND! Horrible fees being tacked on every chance they can get, took over two months to receive the card to begin with! Please read all the reviews on every site you can! They are all about the same horrible customer service, tactics and fees!

      This is the most difficult bank I have ever tried to do business with and I would give them an even lower score if possible. When I opened my account I requested the option of paperless billing like I have with all my other accounts. From day one I have never received my ebill to make my payment, I receive a late notice every month telling me they haven't received my payment and have added a $40 late fee to my account. Every month I have contacted them attempting to correct their error and setting up paperless billing going forward. Nothing has worked and I'm not going to pay for their continued shortcomings so as of this morning when this occurred once again I opted to just close my account and rid myself of this ongoing stress and advised them I'm not paying the late fees. This is the most inept, finger pointing, uncooperative and unfriendly company I have ever dealt with so my advice is DON'T OPEN A CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT WITH THIS COMPANY THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON EXISTANT.

      Every attempt to pay off a recreational loan results in being charged a few extra CENTS because they drag their feet after a payoff quote to the following day so more interest accumulates. So where does it end???? Will they ever allow it to be paid in full???

      Merrick Bank is a scam . They will s**** you over every chance they get ! They even make up things to s**** you on . Dont go near Merrick Bank or you will be sorry

      Up until today, I liked Merrick Bank. I have been a card holder for over 10yrs. My issue came when I received an email asking if I was having financial problems because I apparently missed a payment for more than 30 days. I was confused because I haven't had a ********************************************************** fact, I paid this card off in April. But this card charges a $6 monthly maintenance so I had an auto-pay set up last year so I don't have to be concerned with making it. But apparently, when I made a full payment outside of auto-pay, to pay the card off, the auto-pay was no longer active, so my $6 payment due 5/1, was never paid and I didn't know until the 6/1 payment wasn't paid either, which is when I got the email, so I had to pay the balance of $20 which would have now been due 7/1. This ONE late payment on my credit score, took my Equifax from 754 to 681 and my Experian from 736 to 658. My heart was broken. This missed payment was clearly an oversight, that caused major damages that could take months or years to bounce back from. I'm not sure how long because this is the 1st negative missed payment hit on my score, but the internet says this can hurt your score to even 100pts. This made me close my account. It's not my oldest creditor I have open, but I don't want to pay on a card that damages my credit due to a mistake.

      I never received the card, when I called they said the billing address was an address I lived at over a year ago and not the address I put on the application. When I called customer service the representative could not get my address right after literally spelling it out to him more than once. I have a balance and have not even seen the card.
