Corrupt company. I does not recognize the card it issues. So that you can hardly use it. When you have remaining money, it does not allow you to pay using HSA card. They can have the remaining money. Not.

They took $500 of my money, locked it up, and refuse to allow me to access it for transit expenses. Now they tell me it will be lost in a few weeks unless I spend it LOL. So yesterday - I spent the amount on transit expenses using my personal credit card, asked for reimbursement - and they denied it. Essentially they're stealing $500 - like thieves.

I closed my account 7 weeks ago and I have not received my money yet. I call them 1 to 2 times a week with a different story every time as to why I don't have a check yet. I feel bad for anybody that has a substantial amount of money being held onto by these crooks

Health Pay set up Radiology Imaging with the incorrect TIN and has been sending payments to the wrong tax ID #! Trying to get them to acknowledge and work with the provider has been a nightmare. A payment was made in October for $293.20. It's February and I still cannot get resolution. I hope someone is listening to the internal customer service calls - I had to ask one employee to stop bad mouthing the provider. The provider had the same experience in trying to determine where HE sent the payment. I was finally told by HE in February (after hours on the phone escalating to supervisors) that my account had been credited in November. Meanwhile, I was sent to collections! I'm not the only patient sent to collections because Health Equity paid the wrong tax id number. Never use HE to pay providers.

This company is awful. The website has no information about your account except for payment amounts and only one way communication through their "Support" system of cases, which they use to ********* you around. I will be recommending to my prior employer to cancel this service. I keep having to call - the people sound nice on the phone but nothing gets done. Seeing the other company reviews show a consistent frustration with people that have to deal with them.

I wanted to consolidate all of my accounts to one place (Fidelity). I didn't have any "bad experiences" as you read in reviews from others, but things sure ended on a bad note when the request was done to send the funds to my new HSA account I'd setup... They hit me with a $25 CLOSING FEE!? The purpose of these HSA plans is to build savings, but for all the time I had my funds with them (maxed out every year to my allowable limit) their interest was hardly that much... if I added up all the interest I earned, it's still less than that $25! Why they have to put a CLOSURE FEE on it is complete BS! I even inquired asking them to reconsider and they just responded saying that's how they always do it - made no effort to reverse it or make it up to me in any way! The funds that were transferred out have already made back the $25 in interest alone (definitely in a much better plan where actual "realistic" interest is being received now. So I'm happy I'll get an "ROI" on this rather quickly, but the fact that any place would charge to close is completely wrong! I did my part making sure I kept the minimum amount they wanted to prevent BS monthly fees yet I still can't justify them charging me this much. Had I known this was their policy back when I was searching for a place to have my HSA, I would have kept moving on until I found a better place. Everyone is so focused on what is required to open and maintain the account, but would NEVER THINK you'd get hit when leaving!! Such BS! Avoid this financial institution at all cost!

I use WW for commuter benefits in ************, **. In addition to the processing time for my employer to send funds from my paycheck, you are given 10 days (1st-10th of the month) to submit a transaction, and then they take 3 weeks to process the transaction for you to actually use your own money. Most recently, I tried getting access to my money by submitting a transaction on the 2nd of the month, and that money won't be available to me until the 1st of the next month. This is money that has already been sent to WW. Banks don't take this long to process a transaction, why is this any different? Calling them on the phone, you have to submit 3 different kinds of sensitive information (birthday, last 4 digits of SSN, and zip code) just to talk to someone? This has to be one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with - they need some serious oversight to stop abusing their customers.

Absolutely the most un-user-friendly website imaginable for claim reimbursement submittal. Not surprisingly, there is never anything on the website to submit feedback. The pages jump up *** down as you click on buttons/fields, and the number of pages and clicks for a single submittal is ridiculous. A middle school student could design a better website! The form from several years ago was ugly and inelegant, but was much less difficult to use.
