I received an email stating my card was suspended (which is common with this company). I called to find out what the issue was. I was told that a charge was not approved. I said that this exact charge was already approved and asked to speak to someone else due to her not being able to give me any more answers. Then I noticed while on the app that they had now changed the approval of the last charge now. At this point, I am upset because they have claimed in the past that the charges are very specifically approved by federal regulations. If charges are so specific, why would it once be approved, then not approved again. Frustrating having to deal with this company. And don't get me started on their ridiculous app that never works right!

Health Equity (aka Wageworks) is a sham of a company. Me and others at my company applied for Commuter Benefits, taking money from your check, pre tax, to pay for your commuting cost. The **** had $308 in my account that is no longer needed as I no longer commute. They sent the money to Wageworks, who sent me a check for $38. The $38 was taken post tax, the rest was pre tax and they told me that I'm not entitled to it due to IRS laws. Many others are telling me the same story. They are keeping all out money and blaming it on the ****

HealthEquity keeps changing its story to hold on to your money longer. I am the beneficiary of a relative's HSA account. The relative died in November 2022. I've been told by HSA representatives last year I would be paid in 48 hours. I've been told the funds need to settle and the *** must freeze them for five days afterward. I've been told a check will be sent out on a specific date. Then I have been told no, that's the date the account closed, and the account cannot be paid until after a five-day blackout, with a check forthcoming afterward within 7 to 10 business days.

This is the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They deny any and all claims. My dental surgeon sent a treatment plan and I started the treatment. Receipts were submitted and denied. Finally after resubmitting the same receipts because I was told the receipts were denied because the claims people didn't understand the treatment plan. So now, we have idiots with no experience denying claims that are legitimate. They treat you as if you're spending their money. I hope someone takes this crappy company to court and sues the h*** out of them or better yet a class action suit would be perfect. I will never put any more money on a worthless care with this worthless company. If you're thinking about this supposed benefit with this company, DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read the reviews and their customer rating. SUBPAR!!!!!!!!!

My employer recently switched from Flex Facts to Health Equity for our HRA and it has literally been the most ridiculous experience of my life. I can't even believe this company is functioning, it is terrible. For the past 4 MONTHS, I have been going back with Health Equity, and my employer, and our Insurance rep, to help remedy the issues that I'm having, and they are still not fixed. I keep getting claimed denied saying they aren't eligible expenses even though they are. I've had prescriptions be denied saying they are OTC when they weren't. I had a prescription be denied saying that it was Orthodontics/Braces, which it wasn't. Each and every time I called customer service, they weren't able to give me the answer I needed and they can't connect you to anyone who is above the lower level customer service reps. **** told me they weren't allowed to connect me to someone in claims. No one knows what they are doing and I've been told conflicting information too many times to even count. It's infuriating. I was told that the claims go through a scanner, so if they are being denied it's not even a human that is looking at them. So when they make errors, you are forced to call customer service and receive a case number EVERY TIME. Then an actual human will review it. I have yet to be reimbursed for 12 prescription refills since Oct. It's impossible to get answers from them and unfortunately the customer service reps aren't trained well enough to handle the types of issues that me and my colleagues are calling about. It is unbelievable that this company is still in business. I can't even imagine older folks or people who aren't tech savvy using this website either - there are no directions anywhere on how to actually submit the claims with the right categories, and if you do that wrong it will also get denied. I've called them *****x in the past 3 months (no exaggeration!). Luckily I'm leaving my job and only have to deal with this another month...

I hate, despise, and detest Health Equity. Every time I call in I have to be put on hold for 3 mins and then transferred. Their mobile app is the worst! So slow, confusing and glitchy. It never saves the different providers and submitting claims for reimbursement is purposely I am sure, a nightmare. They really try to make it impossible for one to use their FSA/HSA money. Their card always gets declined by providers too and then you have to submit a claim. They are cheating thieves.

After 5 calls between wage works' COBRA mbr **************** I spoke with, this business shld be re-evaluated for doing business w/consumers. They should also be dinged for not training agents properly to resolve issues. I had been trying to make my Jan pmt on line since 12/22/2022 & the sys (on line or dial in) would not allow me to make a pmt and referred me to speak w/someone. However, no one was available betw 12/22/22 and 01/02/23. The same recording for several numbers disconnected me.Once I was able to speak today, not 1 of the 5 (aware of the company's business processes) could explain why their sys wasn't allowing me to make a pmt as it had been allowing me betw Aug and Dec 2022. Today 1/3/2023, I was told since the sys is not allowing me, I should drop my pmt in the mail which I complied and purchased express mail.Once I returned from the post office and contacted my former employer to make them aware that I was not able to make my Jan pmt and asked if they could reach out to WW, they said that they changed health-care providers and the premiums are different. They said WW should have sent info. After 1 call to WW, my former employer learned that the Notice of Coverage Change had not been mailed out to inform participants. That explains why the sys was not allowing pmts. Nor was the sys updated with the new coverage effective 1/1/2023. None of this helps me with the $737.11 pmt I placed in the mail for the previous premium pmt (betw ********** 2022) along with my purchase of priority mail. Question now is what is going to happen to my pmt once WW receives it and how long will it take for me to receive the notice.Again, of the 5 persons I spoke with this morning not one was able to assist including a mgr. Also, when I logged 3 help desk tickets, their sys processed them as resolved w/o 1 person speaking with me. Not 1 ticket included a resolution. For these reasons, an audit of WW business processes and leadership, shld be evaluated.

Their claims department is AWFUL. *** submitted receipts exactly how they wanted them for chiropractic treatment and for four months they reimbursed us but now all of a sudden my EXACT same treatments are being denied. They have no explanation and you cannot speak to anyone in claims. My husbands company that he worked for for thirty years puts the money into two accounts for us since we dont have their insurance anymore. You have to fight to try and get reimbursed for everything they say you can use it for. Theyre absolutely worthless and awful. No agent in the claims department follows the same protocol. Theyre all different in how they deny or pay out your claim. If we could not use them, our lives would be much easier and less stressful.

An extremely confusing customer interface that operates as though designed by a youngster with no health expenses to claim or someone who's unfamiliar with the human logic of claim filing. It would seem pretty straightforward:1. I want to make a claim against pre-existing funds in my account 2. I have uploaded the necessary documentation of my expense 3. I want to a) file the expense claim, b) link my uploaded documentation of that expense, and c) have the reimbursement sent automatically to my bank via EFT.There are so many conflicting and duplicative drop-down menus involved, it is always a struggle. This should be simple and transparent. It is not. I have only drug expenses that I claim every month or so. I always upload a PDF of the prescription receipts. I am a pharmacist with 4 decades of practice experience. I have never seen a more complicated and unhelpful user interface.Forget the opening website splash screen of laughing adults playing with their children. HealthEquity seems bound and determined to keep me from prepaid reimbursement.
