      Absolutely abysmal customer service.A few months ago I was locked out of my account due to some change in username. I called member services, and they changed the username to a default account number. I tried to use my card yesterday and it was rejected. When I tried to log into my account online, it showed it was frozen due to suspected fraud.If there was attempted fraud, great. Love that its shut down, but I have spent an hour and a half on the phone trying to get my account unfrozen in the past two days. I have spoken with 3 people, only one of whom was helpful, and one of whom was actively hostile when I asked about why it was frozen in the first place, and why I wasnt notified, as well as trying to understand why their member services department is 24/7 but their fraud department is not (especially because when I called while the fraud department was opens there was no investigation and no questions were asked to remove the fraud freeze, so why cant people in member services remove it? Whats the point of having a separate fraud department if they dont actually do anything apart from control the unfreeze button?). I was, admittedly, frustrated, but I was not raising my voice, or blaming the service member, and his solution was not to connect me with someone else, or try to address my questions. Instead, he just hung up on me, sending me back into the hold queue. This behavior was beyond unprofessional, and, he rightly guessed that I wouldnt bother staying on hold again to file a complaint that probably wouldnt even be documented in the system. There is nowhere to lodge a formal complaint besides with member services, who will most likely not document it anyways, so instead Im forced to write a review here. I was frustrated before, but following this team members unprofessional behavior, Im ticked off.

      Do not transfer your *** to this company. My former *** provider sent them a check and it has taken 4 calls with customer support over the course of 7 weeks to finally confirm that my check was received (and it will still take another 7 days to process). I was repeatedly told I would receive information sooner than I did. This level of gross negligence should be unlawful and I should be entitled to interest on my balance for lost investment opportunity.

      They have little to no customer service. We just switched to ********* money from last year is just gone. Cant access it. So Im stuck at a ********** & no way to pay.

      We have 'rewards' as part of our health insurance. The insurance company partners with Health Equity for that sends out the 'rewards' cards to employees. I did not receive my card after a lengthy time and when I finally did, it got rejected from two places. I called Health Equity to find out the reason. The male customer service person kept arguing with me that I had an *** account, which I do not! When he finally got my account correct, he said the money showed on the account. When I asked him to verify the account numbers matched my card, I discovered they did not! He said he'd 'look into it' and get back with me. He never did. I emailed them - no response. I contacted my insurance company, who reached out to them. Again, Health Equity told insurance they would contact me about the situation. They have not.Very poor customer service and follow-up! Would not recommend.

      If your company offers this benefit, I recommend against utilizing it. During my experience, it never worked at nearby parking garages, and I never received clear guidance on where it could be used. As a work-from-home associate, when attempting to buy a train ticket, funds were incorrectly deducted from my paycheck instead of the card balance. Additionally, the ticket was never mailed to me. HR could not assist, and WageWorks misguidedly directed me to a non-staffed station for a refund. Despite having pre-tax funds on the card since 2020, recent purchases still deducted from future paychecks. Based on persistent issues and consistent negative reviews, I question their credibility and ****'s decision to engage their services.

      I have had a fraud charge on my account on 11/11/24. After 2 months and 6 phone calls to Health Equity, I am still no closer to getting this resolved. Every time I call I hear a different story. So frustrating.

      I am relatively new to Health Equity and so far the experiance is terrible. My account has already been closed and reopened once and now its frozen again. I cannot even make a contribution or add an external bank account without problems. I have spent more time on the phone them then actually using my account. I hope I actually get to have a conversation with someone at this company to tell me why my account keeps getting frozen.

      My employer enrolled us in health equity hsa. I am currently between places but continue to work full time and am taxed and all that good stuff. I depend on the deposits in my *** just like Im sure many others do too. I stopped receiving my benefit because of an identity verification problem. My employer changed something about it , making deposits come out every two weeks instead of every week. Which somehow caused me to have to verify my identity again. My employer swears to me they have sent my info that I provided them in multiple times but health equity continues to say they havent. Ive sent it in myself also and they continue to say we havent turned anything in. They have done this for three weeks now and I have told my employer to remove me from the benefit. I am so frustrated with these people that Im giving up 600 every few months just so I dont have to deal with them!!! They do not care about the end user at all!!!! As long as theyre profiting off your employer thats where they stop!!!!!
