      I applied for a payment plan to purchase tires from an auto shop for my vehicle dec 2023. Ive used this tire company in the past for tires and never had an issue. This company states that there was an early payoff for March 29 of 2024, which I was unaware of. I am a college student who was using this system to help me pay for my tires as I have been going through school as a full-time student and full-time employee. I was unaware of this early payoff date as I called today to make a payment to clear the balance of my $500 that I owe for the tires. my total was to be $560 for the balance of the tires through the company. I did not receive any notification from the company to do an early payoff as an option and was not privy to the information from this so-called contract or as they say, its a rental agreement. I called today and they stated that I will have to pay an additional $516 in order to clear my debt of this $560 balance that has been paid. They did say and there is no interest. So I asked I have to pay $1000 for $500 even though I was not aware of an early payoff date? They stated this would be the best they can do. I asked them is there a way to pay an additional percentage off of the 35% to settle the debt today as I am able to do so. The representative said she was not able to help me and transfer me to a supervisor by the name of ****, who states that he is corporate working on a Saturday . I explained to him that I know corporate is not open on Saturdays, but I just wanted to see if theres a way as a consumer to negotiate a better payment to take care of the debt at hand? The corporate supervisor **** went to repeat the same scripted note instead of answering my question. I reached back out to the tire company, who stated that they do use other other finance companies as they dont use it for credit that I was not aware of. They use 3 based off of income. This company is a total rip off and the shop said thats weird business practices.

      Acima is a huge rip off..terrible finance ratesyou will pay over double of anything you finance if you lease goes full term.

      Acima is horrible - they are a scam - do not ever use this. I've been scammed for almost $700.Acima is wrongfully charging fees although the payments are made on time. There is a hidden clause that says you ahve to pay within 90 days and if you don't they charge exhorbitant interest rates DAILY. A SCAM - DO NOT GO NEAR THEM

      Acima is wrongfully charging fees although the payments are made on time. When calling to get these fees removed, they lie and say they arent able to. What company isnt able to waive their own fees or credit accounts? These are con artists and scammers. Be aware!

      I really thought acima was gonna be a company I could use for many future purchases but I had a mix up on the payoff date made many extra payments and was ready to pay off my loan today. My fiance was in the hospital and out of work for a month so I made sure the payments were made and was not able to pay the payoff and missed the deadline by 3 days and they are now saying that no one can help me get an extension and couldnt even show the slightest empathy they lock you into this contract to charge you 3x the items worth I will not be using them again after this experience

      Acima is the worst company to go through to buy furniture with. They lied to you , and say to you if you loose your job they will take over, and stopped all payments , to you get back your feet. Stupid me I signed the contract . The only thing they did they credited $117.60 to my account .. are seriously kidding me . Now I am stuck paying this bill off. Well u know what I got till June 17th to come up with all my money and they can kiss my behind and I will never go through them again . They worst company to deal . They just hung up on me . Plus they hung up me all week . Poor customer service. These people dont need a job .they need to be fired. They definitely dont deserve any stars but unfortunately I had to leave one lol

      Lease#******** delivery date was 11/08/23 and total cost was $2255.00. The sofa and love seat costing $1099.00 and a full box spring $99 did not fit in my new home. I attempted several times to have the merchant update the lease. In addition, Acima could not get in touch with merchant Furniture Mecca as well for months! The merchant did not update the lease until 4-16-2024. Now, Acima expects me to pay $3,703.25 for late fees and taxes which is due to the merchant not being reachable. They already have $963.00 that they took as payments every other week. Up until I had enough of their continuous calls that lack empathy towards the situation. A new lease should have been made due to the merchants negligence. If the lease had been updated I could have paid in full with the early purchase option and never would have dealt with both companies ever again. Despicable company with no core values or real representatives. Everyone is just repeating a script and cannot comprehend how their incompetence is affecting the customers!

      Their customer service is terrible and rude! I had couches returned back to ******* and they immediately issued me a refund back to Acima. I called Acima so that they can credit my lease which I have already paid through half way and they said I needed to wait 10 days for resolutions to look at it. Its been more than 10 days and now they are telling me 15 days and that they never received anything more Wayfair which I sent three times the email and invoice with the return. To the the point ******* supervisor had to get involved and they emailed them directly with the refund and they still do not acknowledge it. I still have not been refunded by Acima and they are telling me that I still need to make payments when they owe me! Never again will I use them I always pay down my leases before the 90 days I will stick to Katapult they are amazing.

      Acima took their payments from my checking account with no problem for 3 months. There were no problem for three months making the payments. I was proactive contacting Acima to make the final payment. All of a sudden there was a problem with the final payment. Now they want to add extra fees. I called customer service to make a debit payment of the final payment. They emphasized that they could not take the final payment without the extra fee. Im going to make the final payment with the extra fee. `Dont do business with Acima.

      Stole money from my account and is refusing to refund cause i have a lease they pulled two payment in one week they are thieves I know cant feed my family and all they can say is owe well not my problem
