      I wish I could give them a 0 because like everyone said they hike up the price on you. When you call the automated service gives you one payoff amount, your lease says another, and your account says another. Then when you call to verify they tell you oh the price they gave you in the store is not the price of the finances item, though I agree to that understanding, if my lease says $1127.40 and Ive paid $312 minus what is pending as far as payment then I only owe $815.40, (less $36). But the person I was on the phone with wants me to believe that I have $1100 to pay back. Her math is not matching right now and as God as my witness I will never ever do this with them again. The only reason we didnt pay outright is because we got the furniture during thanksgiving week and we wanted to have emergency funds. I hope theres a class action lawsuit because imma be on that like white on rice. This has got to be illegal.

      HORRIBLE company. Bought a couch. Was quoted $96 a MONTH and they quickly changed it to a weekly payment of the same amount. not to mention the insane fees. Our 2k sectional ended up being $7400!! this is over the course of a YEAR! if you see the name of this business, RUN

      They false advertise a price, the original payment in my email and online said one thing but I was told another. And that took talking to the 3rd representative that ADMITTED Acima charges 75 dollars in additional fees. When I asked why they don't put the correct balance on the app, he said nothing and then said "I'm sorry" WTF sorry do for me?? Currently going through the process of taking legal actions against this company.

      Aside from the ridiculous fees, I had no issues until recently. I received a text that my payment was a day late. When I checked the app, the payment still showed pending from the day before. A few days later I received another text contacted customer service and they stated that my payment was rejected from my bank, but they were processing it, my bank denies that there was any decline. I contacted customer service multiple times to get the $25 fee waived and they simply refused to do it. Their customer service is horrible so on top of their exorbitant fees, I have to pay an additional fee for something that didnt happen. Mind you my payment or automatic so I dont see how the payment could have failed. Also when trying to speak to someone through chat, the chat said there were four people in front of me and then went down to one then jumped back up to 28 or down to 16 then back up to 23. None of the people that I spoke to Would help me without a bank statement. Ive never in my life dealt with a company that wouldnt satisfy a customer by waving a ********************** $25 fee. Especially when it should not be on the account to begin with.

      Tried calling to pay off my lease and was told the total due was $1400.. where as the website said $640...I called and because I thought I still had 2 weeks before the interest was charged, they said my " date" had already passed.. they make NO EXCEPTIONS and told you should have read your contract better.. NEVER AGAIN!!!

      Acima was shady from the start to the end.I financed my fiancs wedding ring from ************* With Acima. And when I first agreed, the page said 200$/month before taxes. I agreed and on my own fault did not read through the lease well enough. To see that before signing they changed it to 245$ every 2 weeks. So Im stuck with the charge. Even after disputing with their managers. I said, okay fine I guess I just am stuck with it. But then they slowly started taking more and more money. With multiple different transactions. They stated out by taking 1$-5$ and I didnt notice. But today they took 2 different transactions. One transaction at 10$ and the other at $45.15. I contacted them and they gave me a cookie cutter response. Not trying to help. And then they said send us a bank statement and then ended the chat and then the call abruptly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Currently talking with JAG on their bad business practices with active duty service members!

      Bad experience I purchased a bedroom set for $900 made payments up to $400 for my early payout. I contacted the support team to make sure the payment amount so I would be clear on the final payment. Which was $407. So I made the payment, it took them 3days to take the payment. in that time their system made another payment, of *****. Thats $487.00 now. Which my account did not authorize, And stop payment. At this point the early purchase date had passed. And the new early purchase amount was now $934.00. All this happened and no one called or sent a email to inform me "on their end" that the payment wasn't made. Seems like a scam to me. I Wouldn't recommend. I'm in further debt dealing with this company. Best thing is, my daughter loves her bedroom set

      Not a fan, overcharge and also make it difficult to understand your purchase option on purpose. Recently, I made a payment early on 1/4 for a rent payment due 1/11 - the amount posted to my bank account 1/9 but according to Acima was still "Processing." So they now they have charged me twice and still took the payment for 1/11. Trying to contact anyone hasn't worked - the live chat feature keeps ************** in front of me in line and I remained on hold without any response for over 30 minutes - essentially ghosting. All I wanted was for my 1/11 payment to be applied to the next rent payment since I paid early but I am sure they'll just take it too. Will never do business with them again. Thank God I had the good sense to pay the first lease I had with them off early.

      My encounter with Acima Credit has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my experience. The credit terms they offered for a $1200 couch over three months turned into a financial disaster, with me ending up paying a staggering $2000. The exorbitant and ridiculous interest rates, coupled with confusing payment structures, felt like a blatant attempt to cheat customers.Equally disappointing is their customer service. With only one representative, communication is a challenge. The lone representative is not only unhelpful but shockingly rude, lacking even basic communication skills. On a scale of 0 to 1, I would rate them a solid 0.PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ACIMA!!!Save yourself from the ordeal I've faced steer clear of Acima Credit. I deeply regret not having read similar warnings before engaging with this company.
