      Ive been back and fourth since December 2023 on a return item was picked up Dec 20 2023 and verified it was scanned in the warehouse ****** sent me proof the proof was sent to Acima on dec26 23 its Jan 12 24 and nothings been done I have a payment on an item I dont have Acima keeps giving me the run around to contact ****** but ****** is not the problem they did there part its Acima if nothing is done I will seek legal assistance

      It took me 30 minutes to pay do an early payoff. I had to argue with two representatives to get it paid off. The first one refused to take my payment after claiming he did t have to deal with rude customers because I called him out due trying to charge me my original balance plus taxes as agreed as well as the $400 payment that was pending. I cancelled that payment with my bank but since they require both your checking and debit card I suspect they will just try and process it again. In which case I will have to *** them. They are banking that people wont *** so they can scam them for more money and try to get you to get frustrated and not pay off early since they lose markup money if you do. I would originally have said I only use this if you can pay it off within the 90 day early payment window. But I dont recommend even doing that because they will do everything they can to make it impossible for you to pay off early. The representatives are sarcastic, barely speak, English, and then, when you say they cant understand them they will say well lets pass you onto a representative who you can understand it like its your fault you cant understand that they dont speak English well and then you have to start the whole whole process over then youll get the next person and they also wont speak English well and the cycle will continue until youve spent your entire day on the phone and gotten nowhere Trying to pay it off. You cant pay it off online you have to call and try and talk to someone that you cant understand in order to pay it off. In a nutshell, DO NOT USE THEM!

      We choose 0 stars, or negative rating that needs to exist. BBB unfortunately requires at least one star for some reason. Like thousands of other innocents, we also got scammed by Acima. We are now in a large class action lawsuit against them. Do NOT become a victim. A hamster wheel of h*** Owners of Acima will be in prison soon. Total nightmare.

      This is the most corrupt leasing company I have ever used. Their sales rep. lies straight to your face about what you are paying. I would never use this company again. Complete and utter thief of your money. Zero stars!!! *********************

      I have called several times over the past couple weeks to pay off my items, I have only had them for a month and need to exercise the early buyout option. They do not answer the phone stating technical difficulties and to call back later. I will pay my payoff amount and no other fees or charges as described below. I am recording each time I call and will definitely take them to court if they try to make me pay anything other than the amount of the product still owed. Reading all these reviews I now want to kick myself in the **** for even using them. Yes, another example of a company taking advantage of folks that can't afford to buy their product outright.

      Rip off. I had a leasing agreement with them. I get option to payoff early, which I did. Only to find out that they started processing another rental payment without any knowledge. They took early payment option and another rental payment after. They outsourced calls out of country as well. Scam!!!!!!

      This is my second lease agreement through Acima. The first wasn't such a bad experience as this time. The interest is too high and when you try to get assistance due to unforseen issues, you get the run around.My lease agreement was scheduled for a payment to come out of my checking account on January 2nd, **** so I called on December 26th, ********************************************************************************* an extension upbtill January 9th, **** which I had no choice but to accept. Today on January 3rd, **** I check my account to see if my rent check had posted only to see that they went ahead and submitted the payment that I requested be extended for a week through, causing my rent check to bounce.When I called in to request to speak with a supervisor I get there's nothing that we can do about it, you have to send an email to escalations in order to have the call pulled and determine why the representative didn't submit the request as he was supposed to. In the meantime I am going to have a bounced check fee and have to pay my landlord a late fee.I will never accept Acima as my finance company for any services or merchandise nor will I refer them to anyone else. I have been unemployed since July 2023 and busting my **** to make these ****** a month furniture payments and all along the offered a program for an additional $3 per scheduled payment to assist with financial situations such as being unemployed and no one ever recommended or offered this to me as an option in all the time that we spoken and I tell them ever since I have been unemployed. Mind you, i paid over $5,000.00 to date. I wouldn't recommend them to my enemy to do business with!

      0 STARS but this makes me choose one to leave the review My complaint is I have just paid off 2 leases I had with them, the amount they said would pay me off was not correct. They took another payment that they said was "pending" at the time. This was not explained to me...they said the ***** for the early pay off of the lease was $xxx.** and it was closed. period. The agent actually said to me, congratulations these are BOTH CLOSED AND PAID IN FULL. now they have processed another payment from my account that was supposedly "pending" at that time never mentioned this to me at the time I was paying it off, at all never mentioned that more money was involved in paying this off not a word of it I won't be using this service again, it's sketchy and they do not fully disclose what is going on

      100% not worth waisting time with this business. Use your personal credit card or find another route to finance. STAY AWAY. Never received a contract nor a phone call to discuss the terms of my contract. 2 days outside of my 90 day period with 0 interest, i called to pay off a $200 balance (note I already paid $380 toward a $550 product). Take into account this was right after Christmas. Spoke with multiple agents to pay $200 and they all refused. Instead, i was required to pay $600 or pay $1000 over the course of a year. Multiple taxes and product renter fees were assessed. Absolutely ridiculous and would never recommend Acima to anyone. These people are not here to help in anyway. Lastly, very rude customer service and lack luster in professionalism.
