      Worst experience ever. I was denied under my name because they were unable to use my card to get the $20 approval fee. One month later they took the $20 and began charging me $130 for a denied application. Took me several weeks to get this handled and still do not have the $20 back. Many of the reps hung up on me and were rude and unable to help. WORSE THAN THAT. My mother applied because it was out brakes being out and was approved. There was no interest chatprges listed just stated if we paid in 90 days there would be no charges and the person at the brake place stated this also. Upon getting her first invoice it was there that we found out they are charging over $900 interest for a $700 job. That is over 100% interest. Biggest rip off I have ever seen. They will tell you that it is stated in the contract you agree to but like others have stated this is not true. I may not be able to do anything about the massive interest fees but I can make it known to ever social media place what a rip off they are. Trust and believe I will get the word out what a rip off you are Acima.

      WORST of the WORST. A bunch of THIEVES. I made a purchase for $2400 and after paying $990, I received a text message saying that I owed $4000 + for the purchase. I called and spoke to a supervisor name **** and he was tried to tell me thats my fault that I didnt read the agreement so fort and so on. And when I told me him I need his name and badge number he refused to give me his last name saying that his name is **********, when I asked what is B stand for he said his last name is only B and I said since you refused to give me your complete name Im going to make a complaint to the BBB then he said hes not authorize to give me his last name. That statement only shows that they are hiding things from customers so they can trap you in their malicious way of business. Please, stay away from them!!!!

      Wouldn't give them any stars if I could. This company uses work arounds to charge you way more than the amount you agreed to. Used acima for $1600 of work on my vehicle, but now somehow owe $3000. Never saw a contract, was approved for an amount that covered the work done. No one can explain where $3000 came from. Tried to get help through my bank and legal aid but to no avail. Told it's not interest or a loan per se. Questioning whether the mechanic lied about the amount of work done to acima, which wouldn't be my fault, or if acima comes up with arbitrary dollar amounts, which also isn't my responsibility. Either way got no help or explanation from acima when I contacted them outside of look at the contract. Still doesn't explain the $3000. Definitely would warn people away from this company.

      This company *****, i advise anyone. This is recently updated as well. I paid of my balance in a timely manner way past expedited time and i cant be able to receive a invoice or receipt for my purchase. But if i was late or negative they would have surely contacted me. Also it would of affect me long term. Im trying to be professional but im looking to hire a attorney to ************* company on harassment and distress.

      Worst company I've ever dealt with. Suppose to be intrest free but I'm paying interest prior to my 90 days ending. I'm being taxed for every payment which I think is crazy and borderline illegal. They need to be investigated. I'm paying over the amount of my loan and if I go past my 90 days I'll being paying double. I've never been charged like this for every single payment

      I bought a bed in ****** and this company is charging me state taxes, ****** doesn't have state taxes on products . I had to use an address that I stayed at for six months in Nebraska, I have always lived in ****** I was there living with my sister for six months. And when I bought ,it wanted that address which I do not know why. I have made serval attempts to change it the address , sent in mail with my address to prove that I live in ******.I just talked to the company again today and they adjusted $11.00 off two days ago. I asked them to adjust the taxes they have charged me from the beginning in , May 19th 2023.So I am wanting adjustments on what I owe of the taxes that they have charged **** will not recommend or buy anything else with this company.

      This is the worst company in the world. Do not use them, I will be filing suit againt them for deceptive practices. I thought I was doing a 90 days same as cash deal. My items came out to $2,400 but acima is saying I owe them an additional $400 becasue they are a leasing company. What!!!!!I will be filing suit, and do not ever use the company for anything I will leave negative reviews everyday until I am refunded my $400!!!!

      I used Acima to purchase furniture 90 days same as cash they added a $50 start up fee and an additional $235 fee which was not in my contract. I reached out to resolve the issue no help and Acima did not make it good. I recorded our conversation for future purposes I spoke to 2 different agent they both had very poor customers service. Don't use this company a rip off.

      Acima is great for those who don't want credit; however it DOES NOT care about it's customers. The Acima app is so sensitive that if your screen times out it will close, make you start the entire process over then tell you to call customer service. Once you actually get through to customer service you have to ask them to cancel the approval, then start again. I tried several times this morning to complete a lease for a mattress. The app shut down the first time, the second time it froze; charging my card both times. When I live chat with customer service they basically blamed me. I spoke with a supervisor he told me I have to wait 7 days because he can't access the system. He basically said start over and make another payment. I believe their app is rigged this way to do such things like it did to me this morning. **************** is not helpful. I'm out of ****** and my reply was "wait" **** days. Why do I have to wait 7 days when it didn't take 7 days to process for payment. The difference is they don't cancel the approval, according to the supervisor the system automatically cancels the lease if the virtual card is not used with in 15 minutes and treats it like a refund instead of approval cancellation. Approval cancellation are immediate. Here's my problem customer service and the supervisor saw that I made not one but two payments and you wouldn't even reverse one of the refunds, use it as my initial payment and manually do my lease? I work hard for my money and trusted the Acima app to perform properly. The biggest problem is customer service did absolutely nothing and was nonchalant about they entire situation. Acima nor it's customer service cares about is customers.

      Worst company ever I will never do business with these crooks. My payments were supposed to be ***** but they charged me ***** for member ship I was unaware of. When I called they said it was my fault that I opted in, I thought I was signing my lease, they would not refund. Never will recommend to anyone to do business with acima. Worst experience ever.
