      I made a purchase a little over $800 and were choosing to do the early pay off option. Our early pay off date was 9/27. On 9/8 a payment of $76.16 came out of my bank account and ********************** said the payment failed. However, my online banking and a Chase representative both state that Acima deducted $76.16 and the transaction posted to my account. When I contacted customer service, they said they returned the payment, but the money was never returned to my account. I made a payment with the same representative on the phone of $150 and they told me I had to pay a $25 return payment fee (even though the payment was never returned). To avoid any more confusion, I agreed to pay the $25 fee. Then on 9/22 a payment of ***** came out of my account. Since my early pay off date was 9/27, I also paid $423.02 to close out the lease and consider that the final payment. Yesterday, Acima calls me to tell me the payment of $***** never went through. However, ONCE again the money was never returned to my account. Now ********************** says my account is not paid off and that I owe ANOTHER $1127 because I passed the early pay off date. I chatted with a customer service representative and explained the situation. The representative tells me that there is a 7 day extension period, but its a $100 fee. The representative then asks me if I agree to authorize a payment of $152.32 ($100 fee + $***** payment + $25 return payment fee). At this point, Im frustrated and I would rather pay the $152.32 than $1127, so I agree. We ended up paying an extra $280.81 because of this situation. I will not be using Acima again!!

      Acima is definitely predatory lending. They charge taxes on every payment, a down payment, and a purchase price of $25 more dollars. $2955.00 cost $3900.60 for a total of $6855.60 it's just robbery and Acima should be put out of business for doing so.

      I made a payment for the purchase option on a lease and the next day it processed an additional rent payment. This is over and above the total amount paid and they refuse to refund it!! Called and spoke with the supervisor who told me my payments come out Thursday which is untrue they have always come out Friday. They were never authorized to come out on Thursdays.

      I purchased merchandise for $2200 and paid $1400 on it within the 90 days and didnt know the exact date and tried to pay it off 9/29/23 but the 90 days ended 9/20/23. I was expecting to pay no more than $1200 but the representative told me I had to pay $2600 for it to be paid in full because I missed the 90 day **** and they would base it off 12 months but at a discounted rate which is a total rip off. Thats more than the original amount of the merchandise and if its being paid 9 days after 90 days thats nowhere near 365 days. I spoke to several representatives which included the superior supervisor and she advised the same thing that it would be $2600. That amount is ridiculous. Something needs to be done about this company because it is a SCAM.

      I charged a purchase with this company **** dollars made 2 payments within the 90 day period that leftme with a 220 dollar balance but they say its plus taxes and a 18 dollar late fee. I was taxed everytime I made a payment for the same purchase. I was also charged a late charge even when my bill was not due because I'm within the 90 day period. This company is taxing people everytime a payment is made. After the 90 days the balance changes to 2 times what you owe

      NEGATIVE STARS! I WILL MAKE SURE TO BLAST THIS COMPANY ON SOCIAL MEDIA SO PEOPLE CAN BE AWARE!.I Purchased some furniture 90 Day same as cash. They taxed me for the merchandise and again on each payment. I call the furniture place to confirm it was 90 day same as cash they said yes. I told them to stop using this company. When I called in. I put my information in with the automated prompter a customer service rep came on and wanted my info again ( with a foreign person) and they wanted my info again plus full social security # after I gave my account number. I hung up. It sounded like a scammer... I never been asked my full social. Even the bank ask for last 4 digits

      I purchased a washer from ******* Appliance repair and the company told me I should use their financing. They gave me credit for with Acima. I was told I was going to rent to own but come to find out after I thought I was done paying for the washer, Acima told me that I was leasing the washer and that I still owed $700 when the washer was only ****** I had already paid $800.00. This is more than 50% interest. This is not what I signed on the paper work and is not what I was told at the time of purchase. I have called to resolve this and they will NOT work with me to figure anything out. I told them this was price gouging and one customer service rep admitted that it was over 50% interest. THIS IS NOT RIGHT!

      ****************** All they care about is getting money from you and WILL NOT work with you regardless of circumstances. The customer service is rude, the supervisors are rude. I honestly cant wait for this company to get sued or go under with how predatory your practices ate.

      Acima will rip you off from your hard earning money. They dont give you any type of chances, and after I called them to set up a payment since I noticed the deduction from my bank account. They waited a whole month and weeks to deducted from my bank account. ********************** is saying that they dont have any records shown of the arrangements that I verbally made. I try to talk to them to pay the balance of $360 which is what I owe before and now I owe them $2500 and yes I spoken to 2 different representatives and supervisor. Dont get a loan from this company for your own sake.

      We used Acima for a larger purchase, paid it in full and they upped our credit. I tried to use them to purchase a very small item and they denied me. I called them to see why was asked personal questions by 5 employees and each of them transferred me to another person without explaining why. The final person was in the processing department, when I tried to explain what happened and they threatened to hang up on me if I didnt immediately give them my personal information (which I was nervous about because I dont want my information stolen). When I tried telling him that, he did hang up on me. I called back and waited 20 minutes to speak to someone, and they would not send me to a supervisor without my personal information again. Im done trying.
