      Acima zero stars is a company that isn't straight forward they dont mention this is a lease don't take accountabily for there mistakes tells you that you have 3mths to pay cash price but don't mention when you call customer service that they will lie and call customer a lie they said my 3 mths were ** in 3 mths but I purchase end of May 21st so how is July 21st 3 mths it should be August and they say they email you contract no I got email welcoming but no contract no alert that about a 3 mth pay off deadline I made purchase for ******* I payed ****** plus but now they sa I owe ******* that's more than original purchase this is a rip off scam and there customer service / manager wount fix it just tell you that there's nothing they can do they need to be shut down for lieing to peaple or hiding this is a lease they not upfront bussiness what so ever

      Worst company Ive ever dealt with. They are a total scam, it is so bad that its unbelievable. I made a purchase of $160, I pay for the early purchase before the 3 months passed. These people charged me a total of $385. I couldnt believe it. I hope people dont make the same mistake as I did and stay away from this company. What they are doing should not allowed.

      I had purchased acima leasing before and never had issues until recently. I purchased a product and paid it off and was emailed a receipt. Yet I was still being charge $87.58 randomly the next month and x3 in one week. I called about it and they didnt believe me because they said the account was closed. I sent my transaction history via chase bank directly as pdf but they said they needed bank statements with my account/routing number. I absolutely refused because the payments are running as debit not using my routing and no one could direct me to the right person or even the people that handle that. I talked to multiple people who couldnt help. Eventually I called the bank and put it as fraud. But the hassle of nobody explaining why I was being charged was too much. Also, be careful when buying something for the 3 month early purchase. They purposely put the payments as biweekly so by the time 3 months hit its doesnt equate to that amount.

      First and foremost this so-called BBB A+ rated scam company misrepresents the contract to the consumer, along with salespeople. At NO TIME was this ever presented as a "lease", had it been I would have never agreed to this! After already putting $350 down and owing $450 , these con artists are trying say I owe $1,120 ...not in your wildest dreams! Where did $670 come from? Then on top of that they want you pay taxes on every single payment. How are these taxes calculated exactly because they do not match State and local tax here, 11% tax? More fraud. Then they say take the product back....nope, can't do that because the private seller refuses to accept. Just incredible. I'm paying the $450, minus the what I have already paid and the CORRECT State Tax...period. I also think the State Attorney General, FTC and CFPB should get a heads up on what is going on here!! I've had it up to my eyeball with scammy, thieving companies like this!

      Good evening, my experience with ******* was horrible. I called in to express my concern over a overpaying. I explained to her that the customer service person told me to call on July 31st as I havd called on the 30th of July, to pay a large amount on my account. ******* was rude and refused to give me any information on someone else that I could speak with that could help me. I called back and spoke with a ******* who put me on hold and then transferred me to ******* who started she was the supervisor. ******* refused to give me my overpayment back and refused me a chance to speak with someone else. I actually was going to buy a recliner but, after her attitude I will just go with Snap for further purchases. Its the principle of this ordeal. So sad jus/ lost a valuable customer.       This company is a rip off. I got brakes and tires from Big O and it was approximately $1200 I am close to that amount that it cost and they are telling me I still owe another $1800. Thats double what I paid in the first place.

      I had a problem where my paycheck was not credited to my account on payday. As a result, my Acima payment did not go through and I was charged a $25 *** fee by Acima. I decided to do the right thing and pay it. Then I called and asked if there was any way that the *** fee could be waived and credited to my account due to the circumstances. I was told by and agent and then by a supervisor that because I made the payment, there was nothing that they could do for me. Basically, they said it would have been better to not make the payment, and then call to get it waived. This is a ridiculous practice and I would not recommend this company to ANYBODY!!!

      This company is a scam. I made a purchase that totaled about $500. However, with this company they want me to end up paying a total over $1,000 instead of just being done with payments once Ive paid my original total. That makes absolutely no sense nor is it right or fair. I tried to talk to them about this and they dont seem to care or see an issue with overcharging people. I will never use this company again and caution people to stay far away unless you want to pay double what you originally agreed. So disappointing.

      This company is a RIP OFF, highway robbery. I bought 2 tires my Total was $653.86, since I went passed the 90 days due to loss of job, I now owe $1364.67-$746.71 fees. I asked if I could pay the balance of $310.67 pass due even thought it comes out my account every 2 weeks, I was told that amount can be paid but it will not close the account I have to pay the $746.71.I've paid $617.96 and still owe $746.71.This should be against the law. I wish I could afford an attorney, I'd definitely **************

      Acima failed to perform proper due diligence opening an account in my name. I did not open the account. When I informed them of that, they replied that I would have to provide quite a bit of information to prove my claim. Since then, they have removed money from my checking account (the nature of the identity theft allowed this). They have refused to replace the money and to stop charging me. They continually demand more and more information, and refuse to remedy the situation, referring to their "policy and procedure". I do not have an agreement with them, so their policy and procedure are irrelevant. They are currently demanding that I pay for a copy of my police report for them. In short, they refuse to stop stealing from me until I purchase something for their benefit. That seems to move from theft to extortion, in my opinion.
