      Horrible customer service. They inputted my social security number incorrectly therefore would not let me access my accounts. When I called customer service to correct it and locate the balance owed on my account, they told me to send a photo of social security card AND I.D. before answering any questions. When I told them I was uncomfortable with that they refused to help me further and left me frustrated all while continuing to collect money from account.

      Do not lease from them! They charge hidden fees! Im within my 90 day grace ****** week 2 and I see extra fees! I was told 1 too many excuses where these extra fees are from! Not happy at all! And they are not trying hear anything about how this wasnt told before hand. Do not lease with them unless you want to pay alot more then what you borrowed from Them!

      Was told that positive/good payment history and loans/leases paid in full and on time are not reported. But late payments and fault accounts are sent to collections and reported. So basically they will hurt your credit. But refuse to help your credit. And if you dont pay the 90 day buy out option your price to pay will more than double. Never dealt with such a shameful loan service.

      HORRIBLE!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T ACCOMMODATE THE CUSTOMER AT ALL. THE WAIT TIME IS EXTREMELY LONG CERTAIN DEPARTMENTS AREN'T OPEN IT'S JUST A BIG MESS I ORIGINALLY MADE A PURCHASE THROUGH WAYFAIR AND THINGS WENT SMOOTHLY. SO I DECIDED ITS GRADUATION TIME I WANTED TO GET SOMETHING NICE FOR MY KID DIDN'T HAVE ALL THE ***** TO MAKE THE PURCHASE SO I DECIDED TO USE ACIMA (I still had over $1800.00 in credit left) WENT TO ACIMA APP DID ALL THE NECESSARY STEPS AND IT KEPT GIVING ME AN ISSUE. I CALLED AT LEAST 6 TIMES TO TRY AND FIX THE ISSUE. NOT 1 EMPLOYEE WAS ABLE TO HELP ME WITH THIS ISSUE I EVEN ASKED FOR THE MANAGER AND STILL COULDN'T GET AN ANSWER. SO I WAITED A FEW DAYS AND DECIDED TO CALL BACK TODAY ( One rep sent a message to IT) JUST TO HEAR OH WE THINK IF YOU PAY THE FIRST ***** IN FULL THEN YOULL BE ABLE TO MAKE THE NEXT PURCHASE WITH BEST BUY... SADLY, NO ONE CAN ADDRESS THE ISSUE WITH WHATS GOING ON I KNOW I HAVE ENOUGH FOR THE PURCHASE AT BEST BUY BUT ITS SOMETHING WRONG ON THEIR END. OH, I WAS ALSO TOLD MY SOCIAL DIDN'T MATCH THE ***** I HAVE WITH *******. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? SO I SENT THEM A COPY OF MY SOCIAL AND STILL NOTHING. OVERALL, ACIMA CUSTOMER SERVICE ***** THE EMPLOYEES OR MANAGERS DO NOT KNOW HOW TO HANDLE CUSTOMER'S CONCERNS AND IT NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.

      I thought the customer service was lousy and non professional. My lease was getting ready to expire. I used the mobile app for the first time to make the final payment before the lease expired and I had problems with the app accepting my payment. Ive changed my payment method, it took awhile to accept. Once it accepted I tried to make the payment by choosing the payment method and the amount that I wanted to payoff, instead of the system processing my payment it gave an error message Amount must be less than the purchase amount. Which it was. I tried to chat with customer service, they were no Help. Once they information was accepted on the mobile app, the screen prompt me to review which I did, then it reverted back to me putting the information back in and never accepted my payment. I called **************** 801 - explained what happened & they charged me an additional $100! To payoff my lease. I will no longer use ACIMA. ***~

      I purchased a sofa and love seat from Midwest clearance center. I paid for sofa cash and was financed ************* thru Acima. The original cost was **** for 90 purchase option but I went passed that and it's an extra $1000 added to cost already but if I go through the whole finance option for a year it'll be an extra $2039. Why was I informed this from the start plus how the store listed it it shows I owe for both pieces of furniture when it should just be one. This company is a rip off.

      I purchased a refrigerator Freezer From Acima. **** the store manager told me i will receive the lease agreement was the item was delivered, I got the lease and it had my payments listed for 3 months at a little over $500. I went back to the store and explained that i couldn't afford that much a month, he said ***** worry you can pay$195 a month for 12 months, so i left the store felling a little bit at ease. come to find out Acima says no you have to pay 5?? a month for 3 months to pay it off. In two payments I've given them 400 plus dollars and they still went into my account and took $315.05. I called ACIMA back and ask them why was that money taken out of my account when i had already made 2 payments , he said because it was due. i asked to please return the money back to my acct because it was not authorized , in return he said he could not return the money because it came out of my checking account. Never again will I purchase anthing from them again or tell my friends about this place it's a rip off.

      0 stars! THE WORST!!! I called on April to pay off my debt . I was told the amount plus a pending charge . Yesterday they told me in their system only two charges reflected on their account. Then I went personally to my bank to show there were three charges taken care of. Today I call and representative ****** said yes three charges showed .I said yesterday whom ever I spoke to said two. I mean! I am not nuts to have dementia nor Alzheimer (knocking on wood)- Nor I am delusional. The. Rep. ****** put me on hold and said some charge from September was not paid off and every month or week theyd tried to take out and always declined . Now mind you with this company if you dont pay - they will harass you. Honestly its better off having a toxic maniac schizophrenic boyfriend then having this company up your universal galatical galaxy black hole. . NOW WAIT A MUNUTE!!!! If this amount owed was not paid from September- I wouldve been paying interest like a no tomorrow on fire (FISHY) . There is a gap between September 2022 and April 2023. So I paid everything and guess what? Three weeks ago they started charging again . So they deceiving allowed all the weeks accumulate from the full payment I made to charge me back again weekly with interest. So from 145 I paid in total . Now I have to pay 150 or 160 again.I Requested my recordings- which we all know I wont get. Guys! I promise Im not crazy and Im super chilled . But these people and company!!!! Unethical!!!!! Scammers! And I better not see no response like Im sorry for the misunderstanding call us. I already know theyll expose more. Scammers and direct hands up pants off shove it up your galaxy black hole abuse!!!! Hard and polar cold!!!!! If they were honest . They wouldve called and said hey I know you paid in full on April 2023 but there is one missing payment from September 2022. If you dont pay we will reactivate your account and go back to interest and double. But no! DECEPTION!!!

      It is robbery! This company should be under the jail. No way should any of what they do should be legal. I purchase items and expect to make the payments. Time has past and I am still making payments. I call them and they tell me I will be making till the end of the year. By that time I would have given them 2.5 times more than what I borrowed. I already paid the balance now I am being charge the balance and 1.5 times for borrowing. Usury Laws I thought were in place for things like this. I am fighting this for as long as they continue to rob me. And for the cherry on top, they dont even report your payments to any credit bureau. I will be sure to tell everyone I know to stand clear of this institution. They are in the business of hurting people.
