  Go to any other company! I wish I could give negative stars! We bought a house and the kids furniture place said hey we have this place you can pay it out 90days same as cash and there would be interest on any balance remaining. Okay cool! Awesome. Acima approved us for more than we purchased but we were happy. Until it come to the 90 days, we knew we had $300 cash value balance remaining and we werent to concerned on pay the interest because after all its $300. We call to try to pay off oh you can payoff for $1423.no absolutely not! Then I was given the options if I dont want to pay off right now then I can pay it the interest in full of $2000 the interest alone is the price of the beds plus $400! Last option I was given was to just return the beds. Thats not an options. This company will rob you, they dont give you a copy of the documents and lie to you as far as interest because now, as of today 03/08/2023 I was just told everything I paid toward principal was not actually to principal now that the 90 days has expires so they can charge me 65% interest to pay in full. How about to accept the balance I owed and 1 months interest and shove the rest because this is f****** robbery! You can look up my account and call me to fix it ACIMA! #********

  They cheat you I had a payoff of 205$ they withdrew 316$ out of my back. They stole 111$ from me and will not refund it. Thieves

  I didnt expect to have to pay tax on each payment and that made it more expensive. But overall it wasn't horrible. The reason they get two stars is because the guy at the store said they reported to my credit and I was trying to build my credit so I worked really hard and paid it off in 90 days only to find out they stopped reporting it to the credit bureau 5 months before I started my lease! So the whole point is kinda null

  DO NOT USE OR RECOMMEND!!! I was told 90 days SAME AS CASH at the store (PRICE ******** ****** not! My mattress, box springs & bedframe were only $399 & I ended up paying $53.25 when I got the items on February 24th & today I paid it OFF paying $452.52. That's only having the items for 5 days!! When I tried to download my loan agreement I couldn't access it or payment agreement. PRICE CUTTERS doesn't have loan details. Seriously ($505.77(total I paid)-$399(purchase price)=$106.77 in financing for 5 days!!!

  I purchased a computer at Best Buy through Acima for $1,999.00 and with tax it was $2194.99. I paid the computer off before the 90 days. I realized after that I actually paid them $2630.83 a difference of $435.84. When I called them to complain they explained to me that is was a tax!!!!! I told the person at Acima that a tax is a state or federal revenue levied by the government. It seems to me that this company is operating fraudulently and charging their costumers extra cost and presenting it as a tax. I have taken snapshots of all my payments I see these huge charges labeled as "tax" on every payment. This is a crooked company!!!! Beware........negative 5 stars!!! So to be clear, on top of the tax that I paid the government they charged me another 20% and labeled it as TAX but this money is not going to the government.According to them if you don't pay off this lease before the 90 day's you accrue interest and it can double or even triple the cost of your purchase. DON'T USE THERE SERVICES....THEY ARE NOT AN HONEST COMPANY. BBB if you can help please contact me. Thank you

  This company does not even get ONE star. I used ACIMA to purchase a couch for my new apartment. I chose to lease the coach because they seemed to have a good deal. Ive been making weekly payments on my couch and was told that I owed $600. Then I called today to make a payment and they told me I now owe $2500 on my lease. They said my first purchase option expired 3 weeks ago. I told them I was not notified of this in any way and they said its on my lease agreement. I told them this is a scam I need to speak with someone who can help me and they said no one can help. Then they said I can purchase a second lease agreement for $1789.68. So because I didnt complete my payment THREE WEEKS AGO, they are charging me an additional $1189 and this is supposed to be the deal. I told them I was in a bad car accident a month ago and had been dealing with this bc my car was totaled and I was in the hospital. And they said there is nothing that they can do besides charging me an additional $1189 on my loan. This is worse than a scam. This should be illegal. This company should be shut down I cant believe they would do this to someone.

  RUN! Do not utilize Acima. I would give negative stars if possible I am so angry I can't see straight. They intentionally make sure the stores that they do business with do not print out your paperwork so that it goes to your phone and you don't see all the fine print.I paid ******* down. Acima's website shows if I pay it out in 90 days this is what is owed, $2,320.58 + tax. AND if I pay it over the next 13 months this is what would be paid $4,544.94 ON a $2,272.47 lease, that's half they are getting from me...now this isn't including the taxes because what's causing me to do this review is...I went to pay $******* this morning so that I can have the full amount paid before the 90 days and when I put the information in it showed a $75.00 TAX...so you're already taxing me the way you are with getting $2272.47 but that wasn't enough so you tax me even more? NO. Unacceptable. I am so furious to think that this is the way a company of your size would truly treat your customers. You should be ashamed of yourself, how do you sleep at night knowing you are ripping people off? It's disgusting. Absolutely horrible to see the way you treat people that's kept you in business.IF I go to pay the "before 90 days" this is what I got to witness this morning....What's owed before 90 days --Rent $2233.47 WHAT??????? Is this.....Purchase Fee $87.11 AND then....we have more-----Tax$174.04 leaving my brand new -------Total $2494.62

  Acima tried to reach out to offer a discussion per my bad expirence with the way they treat their customers. Today I called Acima per their reply I left them, and they still sat quiet on the phone offering no help to mitigate my issue. The only solution, was that I could surrender the item and that would of left me without an item I've nearly paid 3 times the original price for. Acima is SERIOUSLY a Horrible leasing service for anything. DO NOT USE ACIMA!! They will act like they want to help with an issue, when they really could care less at retaining a customer base. I have learned a huge ****** here, and hope that all that read this are aware that they do not use Acima Period!!

  The only thing missing from Acima is the loaded gun bcuz this was nothing short of highway robbery!!! I took my car to Big Brand Tires & was told I needed to replace all 4 tires. I could've payed cash but decided I would apply for credit. They denied me due to not having enough credit history. Big Brand guy told me we use a different place called Acima I can help you apply. My total for the tires & work was a Lil over $870 not including the $50 fee I had to pay upfront. Acima approved me for $2500 I believe, so they immediately went to work. Never once during the initial call did this person tell me I had 90 days to pay in full or my price would more than double. However they get you by saying it's all on the customer agreement you agreed to & all the terms are listed when you create an account on their website. Meaning if you can't read properly, see properly, speak English,are computer savvy or if your like me & are just plain stupid enough to believe that people will not burn you for no good god **** reason then your screwed! So to sum up they will continue to steal 2 payments a month until whenever they feel like ********** ain't nothing I can do about it except go on every single platform I can find & complain about their antics & patiently wait for my check to arrive from the massive lawsuit they will eventually be served with just like (Progressive & every other s***** leasing company that burn so many people) Also I met a young man who currently works for Big ********** confirmed that they absolutely beyond a shadow of a doubt get commission for every new person they send Acimas way! The only star I would give them is the freaking meteor I hope crashes into their homes! Shame on them!
